    Mandarin Ginger (chicken included)
    Nikki U.

Love this place! The salads are always so fresh and tasty. I have gotten the Mandarin Ginger salad and the Aloha Mediterranean. Both are very tasty. All salads come with some pita bread and the dressing is place on the side so you and add as much as you like. The service is quick. The only complaints I have is that there was not much chicken and it can be on the more expensive side. It is about $5 to add chicken to your salad. Overall, I enjoy this place for a nice refreshing and healthy lunch.

I'm never a gal who buys salads, mostly because I can make them. But I recently received a gift card to aloha salads and I was pleasantly surprised with their selection of greens choices and wraps! In my opinion, a large salad was a great snack for two, but if you want a meal get a big one for yourself. My grandfather and I tried the big island beet and Ono island ahi, which both came with a delicious dressing and fresh toppings. Service was very quick and the girls taking orders and making the salads were super patient with me asking all kinds of questions about size and popular items and what not. Each plate also came with a little wrapper of pita which was a nice touch to make it hearty! For a light meal that won't make you feel like you broke the bank, give it a try!

Visited Kahala Aloha Salads (first time in awhile) ordered the Beet salad and the Ahi wrap. Both were just wonderful....the Ahi wrap was flavorful with the fish nicely seasoned and cute grape tomatoes....i would have loved more greens tho. The Beet salad was fantastic.....lots of beets, which I love, added shrimp for protein . The service was fast and efficient in a typical mall environment. I will definitely visit again

    Tomato Bisque with Pita bread

My review is limited to the tomato bisque soup with pita bread. Ordering here is simple. All take out here. There are tables and chairs in Kahala Mall that you may use to enjoy your meal. My order was to go. Service is generally quick. I ordered my soup during a non busy time, so there was no wait. But that also means, the soup is in a heated pot that's been there for some time. Service is 4 out of 5 stars. They'll toast up the pita bread which is nice. The soup is on the thick side. You could add hot water to thin the soup. I enjoy the soup as it is. This soup is comfort food. Rich, creamy tomato soup. The soup is a bit oily. Soup is 3 out of 5 stars. Ambiance is 2 out of 5. There really is no ambiance. Aloha Salad is a counter type place with just an ordering counter and display of salads and toppings. Not much else.

I was craving a salad today and Aloha Salad is in the perfect location for me. At Kahala mall, theres usually ample parking, especially during the weeks, and thats a huge plus for me. I got the Mediterranean salad with a tomato bisque. The service was pretty good considering the staff seem to be on the younger side. The wait wasn't long, and the cashier was confident and helpful. My craving was satisfied and so was I.

My picture shows a deconstructed Paniolo Salad, purchased in person Thursday evening 1/9/25. This is not the first time I've ordered this from Aloha Salad at Kahala Mall. In case you can't tell, the salad included a tad over a tablespoon (!) of corn from a can, 3 grape tomatoes, a few small mushy avo slices and a measly 7 little pieces of dried up jicama. I get that prices are up everywhere, for everything. But this went beyond that to just plain stingy. On the plus side the tons of greens included only a few inedible pieces. Yay.

While I was doing an Amazon return, Deb went to get our lunch. She picked up the Kamela Shrimp salad. The salad had a bed of spinach, topped with avocado, sliced egg, two strips of bacon and six shrimps. Wow,it was delicious. Enjoy

Lunch and dinner menus are very different FYI! For drink I ordered the Shiso Crazy. Great drink and love the name! More on the sour side than sweet. For appetizers we got gyoza and the Okinawa sweet potato salad. The gyoza was very flavorful. Now for the potato salad... this was one of the best flavor combinations I have ever tasted. I would come back just to eat this again. The creaminess of the potato with the small pop of saltiness from the ikura... it's the perfect blend of flavors and textures in one bite. For entrees we got the full size spicy ahi Don and the mentaiko pasta (one of the new menu items). Both were good but the mentaiko pasta could've used a bit more salt based on my preferences. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The restaurant is a decent size but I would make a reservation if you're coming during peak hours. Overall, I've never had a bad experience here and I'm glad I finally got the chance to come to try their dinner menu.

During a visit here with my friends who was visiting from out of town, they both enjoyed their entree with a beer, love the atmosphere- we got to chat and ended up staying until restaurant's closing time. The waitress that day was super friendly, full of Aloha! I love the local foods, everything I tried was very tasty, When dining in I usually go with the 2 item plates, picking all different items ( Lau, Kalua Pork, pork belly, chicekn long rice and sharing family style with extra rice. The food was broke da mouth! During one of my dining visits, I was on my no carb lifesytle and got the Island cobb salad with Kalua Pork ( available in 2 sizes $9./$17.) Lettuce, cucumber, corn, tomato, avocado with Kalua Pig, and sweet onion dressing. Wow, I am glad they have this option for salads. I hope they don't discontinue the Cobb salad as it was so good! During this recent stop I picked up the Pork Belly and Pipikaula plate in short ribs style. This was such a great choice as my family enoyed it . Beer and Pork Belly for pupus and pipikaua ribs for dinner. They have daily specials (beef stew, beef tomato, chicken hekka, sweet sour spare ribs, beef stew, grilled fish, shoyu chicken, garlic shrimp) which sounds good too. The Korean Hirata Buns are massive! The texture on the tofu is better than real chicken.
