CPK has been a consistently favorite spot for family dining over the years, and the Kahala Mall location is no different. The food is always good, as it's the service. It was my granddaughter's 2nd birthday, so we decided to have lunch here on a rainy Friday. The mall was fairly busy, even on a rainy day, and CPK was about half full. They're prepared for families with young children, providing a children's menu with crayons for coloring. My 2 year old GD likes corn, so we ordered the street corn appetizer, along with the spinach dip with chips. I had the chicken piccata, which was shared with my GD (she ate almost one full piece), along with a pizza and the apps. Our servers were good, providing attentive service and responding to our F&B needs. The Kahala location is fairly large, with multiple dining areas, and I'd definitely come here again.

In case you didnt know the CPK Kahala is the #1 busiest and highest grossing CPK in the US, and our Ala Moana Location is #2. They are always busy and do a lot of take outs. They do not take reservations but will call you when your table is ready. My son loves CPK and chose it for his bday dinner. Service is always great and I love that they have seasonal specials to keep it interesting. The new grilled salmon picatta was delicious, and the steak chopped salad was yummy. I noticed they removed the Jambalaya from the menu;( but they may bring it back. Even though its always crowded we still love this CPK for the food, service and location.

Crowded weekend, service was amazing but the food was not good. Ordered Ribeye steak medium rare but it was well done and super tough. Sautéed onion was not cooked enough... broccoli had no taste. Thai crunchy salad was good. We usually sit at the bar counter so didn't know but this time we sat in the dining room and it was super laud there.

Good food very good service, casual ambiance. It's all what they do well. Really liked the tortilla soup. Have had and like the bbq chix pizza. However, the Thais salad lacked flavor. Needed something more as it was cabbage based, not lettuce. Won't be ordering that one again.

FOOD: our go-to's are the Full Bbq Chicken Chopped Salad n' Thai Chicken Pizza with a side of ranch, which we ordered n' always tastes great. Complimentary bread with oil n' herbs is a nice bonus to our meal. My son ate all of his kids crispy chicken meal with fruit, so that meant he really liked it. They were able to make my daughters' Mac n' cheese with spaghetti noodles at no additional cost; the portion was a lot so it was great for my two girls to share. I enjoyed my Golden Cadillac Rita. SERVICE: friendly n' attentive INTERIOR: plenty of seating, kid-friendly, spacious to fit our stroller EXTERIOR: located at Kahala Mall near Macy's WAIT TIME: 10 mins to be seated PARKING: free lot OVERALL COMMENTS: came to celebrate my daughter's 3rd birthday n' we had 2 coupons that we received after taking Easter Bunny photos with Expressions the previous month. It was for a free kids meal with every adult $20 purchase. Each kids meal was $8.49 x 2, so that got marked off our bill along with the complimentary bday sundae (thank you!). Also came during Happy Hour so our appetizer, cocktail, n' beer were at a discounted price. Great food, good service, n' the discounts made it an awesome visit!

View the other direction. Yay for paying for dinner out to be seated in the hallway of the mall. :|

I don't really understand the hype. The pizza doesn't do anything exceptional I don't think. It's not bad, but not mind boggling, and also isn't cheap. Solidly not $22 worth in my books. The pasta was even more of a ripoff though - we tried their promo short rib lasagna - which was decidedly lacking in both short ribs and sauce. So so dry. The wedge salad was probably the best value for what you get. Overall though, mediocre food, at $100 for a family of four, all for the pleasure of eating in the hall at the mall (this part was definitely the worst - it was meant to be a treat dinner out for the kids and we may as well have eaten in the food court). Our waiter was lovely and tried her best. The hostess was completely bewildered and gave away our spot in line twice. Can't imagine returning, there's just not enough redeeming.

We haven't been in this restaurant for quite sometime now, but we always enjoy the place, the food, the ambiance. And, the service is always phenomenal. Since we received so many gift cards for Christmas so we're back and enjoyed the pizza, the bolognese spaghetti, and the artichoke dip. We will keep coming since we have not really had a bad experience!!! Will keep coming and highly recommended!!!!

Ambiance: Busy with a lot of Holiday shoppers. It was the usual time for the evening dinner rush, 6:30 thru 7:30 pm. 5-star service this evening. Wait time was on par, seated within 30 minutes as quoted. Thank you Josh for your ability to multitask and remain calm as a host. Truly the 5 star rating goes to our service provider, Kristin. She greeted us as soon as we were seated. She took our drink order and she said she would be right back to take our food order and she actually came back within minutes with warm bread. We ordered our usual, salad and pastas and they were served within 20 minutes. Krystin was on top of things by coming back to check if we needed anything. Chicken piccata and pastas were presented perfectly. Great job kitchen crew! I'm impressed after so many years....CPK is making a come back with great service and food. Thank you!No photos this time, just wanted to recognize the outstanding service we experienced from Krystin this evening. so smooth and efficient, I hope you can train others with your methodical ability to ensure you checked all the boxes to provide great service. Thank you very much!

09/12/25 Had a really nice lunch with friends today. Thai salad was delicious, full of red cabbage, cucumbers, cilantro, peanuts and flavor. I ate the whole thing! Service was perfect, nice young man who was so attentive and prompt. The butter cake was huge that I could not finish all. What would I do different? Ask that the salad hold the onions and serve the butter cake with the Ice cream separately. Our server said everything is made to order so no problem.

Located in Kahala Mall on East side of the mall near Chili's restaurant. We had the wild mushroom pizza and a small size Caesar salad, which was very good the mushroom pizza was great lots of flavor and the crust done right chewy with a crispy crust. The Caesar salad small was just right side and it came with fresh vegetables and croutons and Parmesan cheese. The build your own sundae was delicious and we enjoyed the strawberry purée and the fudge and nuts. Service was good and pretty fast, for they were fairly packed when we went. Restroom was clean and well kept.

I was in the mood for simple comfort food: Spaghetti Bolognese. Seems like they could spare only a tablespoon of sauce for a $20 item!

Sometimes it is incredibly challenging to maintain one's equanimity, and last night proved that point. After waiting around 10 minutes to be seated, we were given a shady, tiny table--despite the fact that many far more desirable tables were clearly available throughout the restaurant. When my loved one asked the receptionist if we could be moved to a better table, he told us they were "not available" or "not open." Seriously? I understand that this place is popular and almost always packed, but after last night's experience, I've decided to cross this eatery off my list. If I want California Pizza Kitchen, I'll go to the much friendlier location at Ala Moana Shopping Center instead. That said, there are plenty of pizza restaurants around that offer better food and, more importantly, a far superior dining experience. Hope my fellow Yelpers who experienced alike situation to share their feelings.

Enjoy perusing the extensive menu and summer specials!!!

From the warmest hospitality to the best food we had in Honolulu, XO completely exceeded our expectations. We only wish we had a restaurant like this back home in Chicago. Every dish was memorable. The Hamachi Crudo was the best we had on the island, fresh, vibrant, and perfectly citrusy balanced. The fried chicken absolutely lived up to the hype and then some. My personal favorite was the perfectly seared scallop with crusted shrimp, an unforgettable combination. My husband and I also decided to add the salmon, and we were so glad we did. Every bite was plump, fresh, and beautifully blackened. What truly blew us away was the value. We've been fortunate enough to dine at Alinea and EL Ideas in Chicago, and XO reminded us of what those restaurants might have inspired at a fraction of the price. The level of creativity, execution, and care that goes into every plate is extraordinary, yet the experience is incredibly approachable. We left completely satisfied, already talking about when we could come back. One bonus, if it's your thing! It's currently BYOB while awaiting their liquor license renewal in August, so if you enjoy pairing your own wine or drinks with dinner, take advantage of it while you can. And do not even think about skipping dessert. The Brown Butter Bunny Mochi was the single best sweet bite of our entire trip, even edging out the delicious malasadas we raved about all week. Whether you take an Uber, rent a car, or make the short drive from Waikīkī, it's worth every minute. This is the kind of place locals should be proud of and visitors will never forget. If you want to eat like a local while treating yourself to one of the best meals on the island, XO is the place. Just go!

I recently went to celebrate my birthday, and everything was just as delicious as I remembered. This time, I tried the peanut tofu. I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary, but I was pleasantly surprised by the creamy tofu, sweet soy sauce, pickled veggies, and pickled mushrooms--I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and will definitely order it again. In the past, I've had the meatballs and beet poke, which were both fantastic as well. The true star of the show, though, has to be the kiawe bean brownie. It is hands-down the most perfect dessert to end your night. Between the warm, rich brownie, the black sesame gelato (which isn't overly sweet), and the crunchy mac nut toffee that ties it all together, it keeps me coming back every single time. Excellent ambiance, top-tier service, and consistently delicious food. Mud Hen Water is a total MUST!

East meets West here, with a slightly spicy ma po tofu made with crimini mushrooms, which had a pleasant meatiness. The biscuits were excellent , but the watercress salad could have had more contrasting flavor. Since the dish was already soy-forward, maybe a citrus vinaigrette on the watercress might have provided a nice contrast. Our server was very good and explained all the dishes and specials. Seeing all the students on standby feeling nervous but eager to serve was very nostalgic because that was once me. I booked the reservation online for my bf's belated birthday dinner, the site will send you a courtesy email of your booking. I think if you need to change your reservation, you may have to call them. *Location* We went on September 18, 2025 at 6pm for our dinner reservation. Parking is located in Parking lot C, you can also see the location on google maps, but just letting you know there's some stairs to walk up to the building. The dining location temporarily moved to the dining room that's in the cafeteria location, I'm going to assume once renovations are done, its back where it's pinned on google maps. If you're not familiar with KCC please plan ahead so you won't be late. So the ambience is a lot more brighter compared to the original location. The student host greeted us and asked us for our name and we checked in, then the student server assigned to our table escorted us and gave our menus. We had the Mediterranean dinner menu for September 2025 and here's what we ordered: Includes complimentary bread and butter *unlimited refills* Drinks *unlimited refills* -Passion berry iced tea (comes unsweetened) $3 -Butterfly pea iced tea (comes sweetened) $5 Ask for 'simple syrup' to sweeten your teas Appetizer -2x Brie Stuffed Arancini Entree -Beef Wellington $48 -Duck Confit $42 Dessert -Hojicha chocolate miso caramel black sesame bar -Pistachio white chocolate custard Bill total= $98 (no tipping allowed since it's a school) The entree price covers all of the appetizer and dessert prices, the drinks are a separate charge. The passion berry iced tea was refreshing, it's unsweetened so I added some simple syrup to have some sweetness. The Butterfly pea iced tea comes in the color blue but it will turn purple when you squeeze the lemon. The drink tastes good but it was way too sweet like i was drinking a whole glass of simple syrup. I had to add water and squeeze a lot of lemons to dilute the sweetness so I feel like they should've left the Butterfly pea iced tea unsweetened so we can control the sweetness. We both got the Brie Stuffed Arancini for our appetizer. When you bite into the Brie Stuffed Arancini it was crunchy on the outside and super cheesy in the inside. As for our entree, my boyfriend didn't really like the Duck Confict, he said it was very oily and buttery but I enjoyed my Beef Wellington though! Loved the crisp breading around the beef and had delicious onion filled stuffing inside the Beef Wellington. I forgot to take a picture of the dessert menu but the Hojicha chocolate miso caramel black sesame bar was super delicious, all the flavors really complimented with each other well. The Pistachio white chocolate custard was okay, the white chocolate wasn't too sweet but it didn't really standout to me but it's great for those who want a dessert that's not too sweet. FYI, just be aware that reservations might be booked out since food influencers are starting to advertise this place so try your best to get your reservation in. But I do recommend this place if you're looking to experience fine dining but on a budget.

The server didn't come for about 10 minutes where I asked to be moved. I was moved to a covered table and we got a new server where we promptly ordered. My sons kids meal came out and his tenders were actually delicious as well as the fries . My food took over 20 minutes to arrive only after I made eye contact with my server and he rushed to the back to grab my food, I'm guessing he had forgotten about it because my short rib arrived cold. Like literally cold to the touch. The mashed potatoes were warm and those were great as well as the veggies . I didn't complain because nobody ever came back to check us on or offer a refill or anything . To pay was a hassle also as they only had 1 server helping and he was tied up with a big table for over 20 minutes that was arguing how to split up a bill. I eventually flagged down a bartender and she went and grabbed my original server from the back. The whole night things kept going wrong . I did have a mai tai earlier in the day from their happy hour which was great but dinner is a no-go for me here now.

And boy were we both blown away (so much so that I believe she returned the next day with others!). The menu had been completely revamped and seemed to take on a more local influence while still being very upscale. Since we both enjoy "sampling" we shared two appetizer and a main. Everything was bursting with flavor! This is what we had: Starter salad from the seasonal menu of watermelon, strawberries, blueberries and greens served on a bed of yuzu infused goat cheese and drizzled with a shiso chimmichuri sauce. Yes, bursting with flavor! I would return for just this dish! Next shared was a tempura battered cauliflower served with a robust curry and yogurt reduction. Deeeelicious. I wouldn't say we licked the plate... but I won't deny it. Hahah. Finally shared the seafood in curry soup (think a lighter version of laksa) served with white rice on the side. Holy moly. No words to describe. Portions were generous enough to share still next time, I won't. That memorable you won't want to share. No longer serving volcano black rolls, tho absolutely serving amazingly wonderful dishes. Volcano black pancakes still available at breakfast. We kept on oooing and ahhhing and asking about the chef. Our servers Gale and Lily, who provided the most awesome service told us "Chef Lance" (as he is affectionately called) moved over from the Mariposa (Restaurant in Neiman Marcus) over a year ago. Further research revealed Chef Lance Kosaka has brought experience from noteworthy restaurants: Top of Waikiki, Merriman's, 53 By the Sea, and most recently Mariposa. I am hoping he will bring in a notable creme brulee that I loved at both the Top as well as Mariposa! Not wanting the deliciousness of Chef Steve's cooking to end, I also ordered a warabi salad to go for the next day. It was...just as wonderful as the other dishes we enjoyed. Thank you to Servers Gale and Lily, Chef Steve, actually...the entire staff who elevated a casual evening of dining to be a most memorable experience! Thank you to sister friend Karen who insisted we dine here, for the most wonderful company and meal. Validated parking in the building accessed on Seaside. Validated for either 2 or 3 hours depending on the promotion. Kamaaina discount of 10 percent given. Will we be back? Absolutely. And I won't wait so long this time to return!

It was $62/person and I feel like it was worth it. We were pleasantly surprised with the selection. It had plenty of food to everyone's taste. Many grilled and bbq meats, two types of sushi, ceviche and crudo. Soup, salad and cheese boards. We left feeling very full. Service was great- we were warmly greeted by the hostess who was incredibly kind. Our bar servers were nice too and helpful. Our server was attentive and empty/used plates were taken away very fast with utensils being replaced quickly as well. We will be back with family to try the Sunday brunch. Highly recommend!

As a longtime 5-star business owner myself, I immediately recognize quality--not only in the food,…read morebut in the people who create the experience. For my birthday, a good friend wanted to take me to 100 Sails at the Prince Waikiki. Word is their buffet is great, but I rarely do buffets because I'm not a big eater. Still, I thought I'd check out the lineup and see what caught my attention. I'm not really a prime rib person, but somehow I found myself drawn to that station--not because of the prime rib, but because of the gracious and inviting energy of the woman carving and serving the guests. She spoke to each person with such genuine delight. You could see how comfortable and happy people were interacting with her. How could I NOT ask for a nice piece? So there I was with a beautiful, juicy cut of prime rib--and then she introduced me to the pork belly! Well, BOTH ended up on my plate. After enjoying all the delicious food, I had to go back and acknowledge her. There was something special about the joy and positive energy she poured into every guest she served. Her name is Angela Alvarado. If you visit 100 Sails, you won't miss her--you'll FEEL HER LIGHT! Great food is important, but people like Angela are what turn a meal into an experience worth remembering. Thank you to my dear friend for a wonderful birthday dinner--and yes, I ate WELL!

Not all hotel restaurants are created equal. Some rely on convenience and serve food that caters to guests who simply don't want to leave the property. Arden is the exact opposite--it's a restaurant people should seek out no matter where they're staying on Oahu. The vibe is relaxed, comfortable, and welcoming. They also offer a happy hour from 5-6 p.m. Our server, Christopher S., delivered a level of professionalism and hospitality that has become increasingly rare since COVID. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely elevated the entire experience. My wife, son, and I started with the ʻulu hummus and tomato salad. As someone from California (my wife is from Oahu), I loved experiencing ingredients and flavor combinations that felt both unique and thoughtfully executed. For entrées, we ordered the oxtail, and the noodles served with it were exceptional--the texture was absolutely perfect. The "Return of the Mak" cocktail was another standout: creative, balanced, and flavorful without being overly sweet. I also enjoyed several glasses of wine from Austria, California, and France. The wine list offered a nice variety with thoughtfully chosen selections. My wife's favorite dish was the kanpachi (pictured), which was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. Even the kids' bolognese impressed us. It was clear the same level of care went into the children's menu as the rest of the dishes--something you don't often see. We finished with the island butter mochi, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The flavors were layered and complex, the texture was delicate and light, and the guava sorbet alongside it tied everything together perfectly. From the food and drinks to the service and atmosphere, Arden delivered an outstanding experience. A truly memorable meal--thank you to the entire team for a wonderful evening.
