Such a disappointment. My family enjoys this restaurant and have been frequent flyers most weekends for the past 3 years. Being able to enjoy a meal outside of the normal household items is a luxury, we get that and we pay for it, especially at Aloha Stacks! We have seen this omelette grow from $10.49 to now $14.00, and until today we were fine with the price but to go from the deliciously loaded chopped bacon gooey cheesy omelette to this pathetic egg slop with 2 slices of bacon all to save a buck? Make the omelette $15 but keep the consistency and quality the same. There is no shortage of patrons to your location so you won't be losing! I have an idea, you make people ask for coconut syrup, why not have them ask for butter? I mean how much butter cost could you save if you didn't put it on every plate of pancakes that goes out? Another suggestion, you should be able to trust your guests to get coffee, if we order coffee just give us the cup and let us do it. We are tired of standing around for some over worked underrated "barista" to get around to pour a cup and leave it at the water station for any one to take! Trust in us with the cup and just do the brewing! Here's the thing I like the food, but unfortunately, I do not like the layout and service of this place. The line in which you wait for to order is sitting next to people in their booths, which I find very weird. I do not want to eat with people standing over me literally right next to me. They only have one cashier going and a line out the door. I waited 30 minutes to make an order. There's no place for to go orders to wait so you again stand next to people eating all of their food so I actually don't like coming here. Also, it hits about 115 to 130 and they will put all the chairs away they make it very well known that they want you out of there and they don't close until two. read more

I enjoy this restaurant, which is usually pretty crowded in the morning. They have an extensive breakfast menu with some very interesting items. I loved the pancakes - that is until i started on a gluten-free diet. They have gluten-free pancakes on their menu, but the most recent time I visited they no longer were serving them because of supply chain issues. Very disappointing! Their omelettes and scrambles are good, but I wish they had a "make your own" option. None of their signature items are exactly what I would want. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes very helpful and responsive and sometimes it seems like the staff is too busy to provide attentive service. Overall, though, I look forward to visiting Aloha Stacks. read more

This place is always packed no matter what time it is, and honestly, i can see why. You wait in line and place your order, then they give you a number and bring the food to your table. They offer so many different options on the menu, and each one is more delicious than the next. Depending on whether your in the mood for something sweet or savory, they offer it all! All the food is very filling and very delicious. I got a Garden Crepe and had to take half of my plate back home with me as I couldn't finish it. It was cheesy, savory, and overall delicious. Perfect for a filling brunch! The only complain i have is the seating arrangements could be better. We've ordered from here through UberEats and Postmates over a dozen times. A handful of times they just canceled our order. We assumed they must've been too busy. Not sure. Their breakfast/brunch foods are delicious. I particularly like their French toast. Not a huge fan of their pancakes but I like the quantity of pancakes they give you. Every order is a pretty large portion of food and definitely leaves you feeling full, if you do finish all of it. My boyfriend usually orders two orders for himself- like a breakfast burrito along with blueberry waffles. But sometimes he doesn't finish all of his second order. Sometimes we get an extra order and keep it for later to reheat and eat. It's still pretty good reheated. Unlike some foods that go bad quickly and taste bad when you reheat them. Not the case here! They also are very good at adding enough utensils and the proper condiments with your order. I don't think I've ever had a shortage of condiments from them. The breakfast menu is fairly extensive with a good combination of savory and sweet options. I'd been craving Loco Moco for a while so it was an easy selection for me. We did want to try their pancakes so my wife chose a dish that included pancakes as a side option. She got the spicy chorizo scramble, which wasn't spicy but just the standard chorizo. The Loco Moco was average. It was sort of bland. Both the patty and the gravy lacked salt. I know I can add salt, but it's also good to cook with salt. The chorizo scramble was a better dish and had a lot of flavor. The stand out was the pancakes. They were light and fluffy, but also full of flavor. I even ate a few bites with just butter because it was that good. I normally love syrup, but I used just a light spread so I could enjoy the taste of the pancake. Aloha Stacks is always quite busy on the weekends, so we always try to hit them up on off hours (right before closing) or on weekdays when they're not as busy. I really like their simple spam loco moco dish and usually don't try too many of their other dishes due to my dairy allergy. My other family members are more likely to vary their dish selections. The only thing that worries me about this restaurant is the fact that the last time that we dined here we noticed two song birds aggressively going to multiple empty tables and drinking from the nozzles of multiple maple syrup dispensers. It worries me that these wild birds can possibly spread diseases to these humans that way. : ( I will be back for their loco mocos, but don't plan on recommending any of the dishes that require maple syrup to any of my guests. The line is shorter and there are plenty tables to sit down and enjoy our food. We choose to sit indoor and A/C. We ordered an egg benedict and a meat lover omelette. When I mentioned I prefer hash brown for my side, she offered me tater tots since they don't have hash brown. The portion is always generous so be ready for a hearty meal. But my stomach growls woke me up one weekend, just an hour before they shut down, so I finally got to try their UBE PANCAKES, and some of the other items on their menu. I didn't do my research and found out a little too late that their UBE PANCAKES come with coconut shreds smothered with the ube syrup. I hate coconut shreds! Been coming here for a while. Finally got around to writing this review. Being from the islands this place always helped to satisfy my cravings for a Hawaiian style breakfast. My go to is the Kal-bi and eggs breakfast and a stack of one of the variety of pancakes. They are all pretty tasty but i like the oreo pancake. Had several of their omelets as well. Definitely one of my regular breakfast spots. My only issue is the lines and crowd at times can be overwhelming. But just wait it out it will be worth it or get it to go. read more

Staff: The staff is very friendly and does a great job of operating during busy times. Their accuracy with orders is most definitely on point. With about 10 to-go orders in the past 3 months, they have never made an mistake with our order. This is very impressive considering how busy they always have been. Food: All of our orders have been to go and the food has always been amazing. They do a great job of packing the food in strong and sturdy containers and include everything you need for you meal (utensils, condiments). Our favorite items are bacon and eggs, which will fill the biggest appetites. Nutella Banana French toast (which is not too sweet, if you're worried), strawberry/banana French toast, and of course the kids chocolate chip pancakes. I've been to a few of the Stacks Pancake joints and have to admit, for me they are just ok. The Loco-Moco is a bit bland, not a lot of flavor I'm used to in Hawaii, but when I'm craving it I get it from here now and again. The chicken fried steak is also a bit flavorless. Eggs, bacon and sausage are fine, I mean c'mon now, it's really hard to mess up over easy eggs! The pancakes are pretty much the only redeeming item for me here, no matter what I order I'll usually get at least 1-2 pancakes on the side. You cannot come to a pancake house and not get at least one to satisfy that craving! Place can get pretty packed, but the line usually goes pretty quick. If you keep your expectations to a minimum for their food you won't be disappointed. Employees are always friendly so kudos for that! read more

It was around 1pm and the yelp info said they close at 2pm so we hurried in and I ordered a build your own omelette and Holly ordered the Santa Fe scramble. The order person was very helpful and the food was quickly prepared and brought to our booth. The omelette had mushrooms, onions,spinach, ham, and for the cheese I chose parmesan. It was fresh , flavorful , and delicious. Hollys scramble was delicious as well with plenty of Ortega chiles. The pancakes were very light and spongy just the way I like them and the maple syrup was very flavorful.
