They are located right next to Sunset Station. Lots of parking right in front or on the side of the building. This location was so convenient for us because we stayed at the sunset station. That was it, so we paid and we found a table to sit at, the lady just came by our table and put our food down on the table and just left. The Portuguese sausage was good, rice was okay and the eggs were a round flat pancake looking thing. So far this place has been consistent in their food taste and that is important to me along with great service. My favorites so far is the Banana pancakes, Chicken katsu and Chicken curry combo and their saimin soup. The banana pancakes are so tasty with the delicious condensed milk sauce. Twice I have had the chicken katsu, but the curry combo was excellent and the katsu sauce is perfect. I will ask for a second sauce since I like to dip a lot. The saimin has a charsiu like, but really tender and delicious roast pork. I will have to try the famous fried chicken plate next time and I hope they will serve chili soon too with side of mayo and tobasco. They prepare the take away orders with care. My saimin was in two containers to separate the soup. The combo was separated in two containers too in order for the katsu to stay crispy from the curry. read more

This restaurant has a new owner but the same cook as Aloha Kitchen. My go to order is the kalbi combo, and it's exactly the same. The portion is large enough for 2 small meals or 1 very large meal. For those that don't know, the kalbi combo comes with kalbi short ribs, teriyaki chicken, chicken katsu, 2 scoops of rice, and mac salad or kimchi. The katsu is always perfectly fried, and the teriyaki chicken is moist but with nice crispy pieces of skin. Although some might not like it, I enjoy that their kalbi is cooked more towards the charred side. Bonus points for really good kimchi. Seriously, it's better than some Korean shops. read more

The Katsu was my clear favorite, flavorful with perfect texture. The Teriyaki chicken was also really good, cooked perfectly. The beef had a nice flavor but was a bit chewy for my taste. Overall this was a really good Hawaiian style plate meal. Everything was hot and freshly prepared. With a Hawaiian Sun drink and the egg rolls I spent about $25 for dinner. This location is serving food to go as well as dining in. It appeared to be vey clean and everyone is all masked-up. The server was very friendly. Since the food is served fresh it takes a bit of time but I thought it was worth it. I have several friends who eat their often - I don't think I would make the drive again. While I get they have to work at 50% capacity they really put no effort into it, using yellow caution tape to block off tables. It felt a little "hazmat" to me. A a bit of AC would be nice. I had the BBQ ribs and orange chicken. Be prepared for a different kind of rib. They are tasty but not much meat.
