The tech came out on a Choice Homewarranty Claim . Took photos, I paid him and never heard back. Didnt leave a reciept or report telling me what next steps would be. After two weeks, I called Choice to get am update and we setteled on a number for the repair. Alpha was emailded by Choice approving the repair. After not hearing from Alpha for three days, I called and they acknowledged that Choice had given the go ahead for the repair, but they had not responded. When I spoke to Alpha, the owner said they had to see if the part was avaialabel. I emphasized that my sotve repair was now three weeks behind and they said they would check with the supply house on when the necessary part would be in and they woudl get back to me, that was five days ago and I havene theard from them at all. They have the most unprofessional people working here! Not knowledgeable and most importantly plain rude and disrespectful. They give you a window of 4-5 hours that you NEED to be available and every time they show up without notice or communication 1-2 min before their deadline. Then they threat you that they will leave (even after telling them via iPhone messaging to give at a heads up once in route) because their time is valuable LOL (how ironic) Home choice warranty needs to break this contact with these low life. The guy started calling mother F and these crazy names and words because I called them out on how unprofessional and unorganized they are. I highly recommend staying clear from this company. However, he broke part of the dishwasher door and did not tell me when he left . The dishwasher was running. so I did not notice the problem until later that evening. I texted the company and they did not respond. A part was also ordered, but of course, we have never heard from them. He arrived within the estimated window of 11 AM to 3 PM wearing correct personal protective equipment. The technician was at the home for about 30 minutes, was knowledgeable about the issue, had the correct replacement parts with him, completed the work independently and swiftly, and was courteous and pleasant throughout. Our Home Warranty company hired this company. Tech came out, diagnosed the issue, collected the deductible, came back and replaced the dishwasher motherboard and the dishwasher still didn't function properly. The Tech ordered another part, we followed up with him via text 3x, and he followed up at his convenience and once being unprofessional. At this point I'm going to take the time contact the States Attorney General , BBB, Consumer Protection Agency, and the Local Chamber of Commerce office to legally deal with this company. What can I say Alpha Appliance sent over an excellent technician named Hamza. He called me 60 minutes before he arrived at my parent's house to notify me that he was en route. Some HVAC techs just show up unannounced, which drives me nuts, but what can you do? My parents had a damaged dryer, so they have been taking their clothing to a laundromat to use the dry, but after Hamza came and replaced the faulty thermal fuse, it went back to normal. I WAS TOLD TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE WHEN I ASKED FOR THE TECH TO IDENTIFY HIMSELF. I requested a dishwasher technician from Choice Home Warranty. I received a date that did not work for me so I called the number provided and spoke with Hamza, who changed the date to today 3/31/23 after 1 pm. Today I received a text (not even a call) from a different technician from Alpha Appliance Repair asking if I was available from 11 am to 3 pm. I texted back letting him that I had spoken with Hamza to be available after 1 pm. He said he would let me know in 40 mins. At 1 pm I was finally leaving work when I get a call from Waseem asking if I was home. I explained to him that I was waiting for his message so I was still at work. He bold face LIED to me and said that he texted me that he would be at my home at 1 pm. I have the text message to confirm it! I was concerned to have someone who lied to me, even before the services, come into my home. Once he arrived, he walked up to the door on the phone, I saw no work van (he was actually in a Honda CRV, was in plain clothes, he had no work badge identifying him as a Choice Home Warranty repair person nor an employee from Alpha Appliance; he almost walked in my home without identifying himself, nor showing any form of ID, until I stopped him. I asked for ID and he showed me the Alpha service ticket and rolled his eyes, got very upset, and replied: "I've been texting you all morning and now you want to ask for ID?" Alpha was assigned by my home warranty company to repair an 18 year old Kenmore refrigerator/freezer that was not maintaining proper temperatures. They quickly diagnosed the issue and even had the necessary part on their truck to complete the repair. They replaced the defrost heater element and the job was completed in 30 minutes. Alpha appliance came to repair my dishwasher a the technician (Dixon) could not take the dishwasher out of the existing space and I doubt if he was qualified to even make the repair.
