Great family restaurant . Reminds me of a Frish's BigBot or a Shoney's without the commercialization of it. Old decor and old feel but it was much better than one of those places. Kids thought it was great and my wife liked it since they had a gluten free menu. I got a roast beef on weck which is a buffalo thing andI liked it. We came here for dinner one night, instead of hitting up a chain restaurant at Walden Galleria. Service was friendly, and we didn't have to wait for a table. The food was good, nothing spectacular, but we left satisfied. We both ordered souvlaki (one beef, one chicken), and the portion of the chicken was much larger than the beef. It's huge inside so even though they are often busy there is rarely a long wait. The place is always clean and the booths are really comfy. The food is always good, ranging to excellent, and they have a decently large and diverse menu with a range of types, sizes and prices. GREAT service!!! Usually a great experience. There have been a few times it wasn't up to my expectations but usually everything is great. The staff are usually really friendly and thoughtful. A few times I did feel like my food took WAY too long but again.. Normally that's not the case. I love the philly cheese steak there and I always get a side of gravy because their gravy is amazing! Seriously, I have had nearly everything on their expansive menu and I continue to come back over and over. The food is well prepared and the service is friendly and quick. The scrarch-made soups are very tasty the delishious burgers are cooked to order, the assorted Greek menu is awesome too. I've never had bad food or bad service here and I have been here many many times. All this and they are open 24/6 (closed Sundays at 11 pm). Before I start to sound like an Alton's employee I must say I'm rating this as a casual family restaurant or diner. Haûte cuisine this ain't. However, as a nice sit down diner goes, its a sure thing. By the way I haven't tried their wings yet but I hear they're pretty good. Sweet potato fries are great and the Bacon Bleu Burger is my favorite so far. Oh yeah, the steak and eggs are great deal. Greek version of Denny's minus all the late night drunkenness. Food is hearty and delicious. Every single one of their omelets are phenomenal. Food comes out speedy and fresh. The only drawback is it gets super busy on Sundays after church hours. There is not much room to wait if there is a line. WATERED DOWN SERVICE I came two times and both experiences has caused me to NEVER eat there again. My first time was uhh kinda ok. It was crowded and we waited to eat at lunch time with reservations. My second time confirmed it wasn't worth it to go back. My waitress was not very nice and did not wait on us for long. It wasn't crowded but she was talking fast and always in a rush. I ordered potatoes and there was a hair in my plate. I was upset, but they returned with potatoes that were not done. They made no effort to fix the bad order. Great place any time of day but best for late night bites! Great souvlaki, onion rings and omlettes! Service is usually really good, food is always fresh & tasy! This is my go to place for a casual meal with people from out of town because their variety of foods will please anyone! I took my mom here for dinner because we saw the sign that said "fish sandwich tonite". We both agreed it sounded yummy so after shopping we went there and had the worst service I have ever had!!! Our waitress was a real b-otch ! Just read: Mom: we saw the fish sandwich on the sign out front, is that a special? Waitress: No it's right there on the menu(growel) Mom: ok I would like that Waitress : which soup do you want, chicken or tomato? Mom: tomato please Me: I would like the same but can I have a salad instead of soup? Waitress : yeah and you can pay for it too (Holy cow!!!) Mom: I would like to order a fish sandwich to go also, for my husband, how big is the sandwich? Waitress: I'm not the cook, you can see how big it is when it comes out. Mom: (gives me a puzzled look) and says ok So now we wait 20 minutes or so... The waitress came over to the couple next to us and says: Waitress: We do not have anymore tomato soup. This woman gave my mom a look, mom said "wow, if looks could kill". THAT'S IT!!! I've had enough of this nasty lady! I went to the front, told them what was going on and that I wanted 2 takeout containers. I went back to the table and apologized to my Mom and said we are leaving. The waitress came back and says: Waitress : is there a problem? Me: yes, you are a mean woman. She leaves then comes back a few minutes later. Waitress : I'm sorry, I have a lot of customers so I was just in a hurry. Me: Whatever ...... I paid the 32.00 bill! And we left! Never again! You people ruined our dinner! The food was aweful and expensive. I'm still burping up the horrible coleslaw !! No matter what kind of hurry you may be in there is no excuse for treating people (especially customers) like crap. We were very happy when we walked in and not so much when we left. This lady was rude and nasty, she said more rude things during the dinner but these were the "highlights". Food here has always been good but I will never visit this restaurant again. Visited with my family a few days ago and waited 50 minutes for our food! This is a diner type place and should be quick. Waitress admitted that the kitchen screwed up our order after people who had been seated after us had eaten and left before we had received our order. However, the manager blamed us for the delay because our child ordered a well-done burger! He said it takes 45 minutes to cook a burger that way! He offered to take 1 soda (a whole $1.29) off the bill, and refused to apologize. Went for dinner tonight. Waitress was great that is it. Ordered patty melt and chicken sandwich. Took longer then normal. Arrived chicken was cold. Patty melt raw which was ordered medium. Took chicken back came back out warm so eat it. Still no melt. Manager came over said heard orders where not right. Explain chicken was cold and melt was raw. He said yes saw it then burnt so he is right on it. Still no melt as chicken was finished. What occurred was raw turned to burnt then still being cooked right. Hello manager your "right on it in a few minutes" was after 5 minutes not ready. You acted like it was our fault. Did not even say so sorry and I will take something off-nope. Waitress with bill we still have to charge for chicken which I explained that would be correct as I ate it. Didn't ask for much. Left with no patty melt so dinner for one instead of two. Won't be back. (tipped waitress 50% of bill as she was so nice and not her fault cooks don't know how to cook a patty which resulted in three meals dumped) read more

I tend to get the same few items: open chicken souvlaki, a turkey sub or a souvlaki wrap. The service is generally pretty good, no complaints there. When ordering take out I have waited beyond the time quoted on a few occasions. While eating in Ive never had more than a 5 minute wait. read more
