First time caller, purchased of a home right at the county line between Davidson and Huntersville. I called and left a message on Thursday May 30th, I was expecting a call back within a reasonable time. I finally got a call back Monday June 3th. I couldn't answer the call since I work at military base, but I called back within 1 hours. I then waited all day for this business to call me back. I finally gave up on waiting, so I called them again and the receptionist simply stated, I'm sorry, meant to call you back earlier today. Really??? However, It gets better, when I gave her my zip code, she stated they no longer service the Davidson area!!! I was in shock...here is a company with outstanding reviews on Yelp, in high demand and yet they act like they are doing just fine not adding new customers. I was truly looking to establish service and continue with regular maintenance visits for a long time to come. This might be a normal behavior around this town, but I'm used to calling a business for an appointment and paying for service/repairs as soon as things break in the house. However, it seems like it's the norm to call a business around here, get an answer from an outsourced entity and they in turn refer customers to the business, needless to say adding unnecessary wait. read more

Vernon just left, he's old school. Treats you with respect, dresses properly, honest and knows what he's doing. He and his wife run the company and are the best in the city. I just used him a second time. First time he diagnosed a bad washing machine, wasn't worth repairing. This time he repaired a leaking refrigerator. Super reasonable price. I called three local businesses and Always Running was the first, and only, one to call me back. I made an appointment with Vernon to come out a few days later. I don't like having repairmen come into my home. You just never know what you are going to get, whether someone will price gouge you, or various other potential issues. However, I found this company on Yelp and the great reviews, I decided to give them a try. My stove/oven starting burning everything, so I called and discussed with Vernon at Always Running. He was super friendly and diagnosed the problem over the phone. He scheduled an appointment the next day, and brought the repair part with him, in case he guessed it correctly over the phone. Once onsite, he was super friendly and professional. He was right, the part was a bad controller board and a relay that was melted shut. He then gave me good advice on whether I should repair my unit, or just buy a new one due to the age. He had no pressure, and helped me make the decision based on his experience on how long these units last. Ultimately, I went with the repair option, which he promptly did (since he already had the part with him). Now I'm up and running again. Thanks for a great job. Mr. Dunlap spent 45 minutes at my house diagnosing the problem with my gas cook top. He tweaked several things to enhance performance. Told me that one problem would be too expensive to fix- I appreciated that. Charge for the service call was less than half what I expected. Very professional, knowledgeable.
