AMAZON RETURN REVIEW: Nobody really likes returning an online order however, Amazon has made it much more easier. I recently had to return a couple of burner knobs for my stove which did not fit. I went online to Amazon, started the return process, and was emailed a return GR code and the address of the closest Amazon Fresh store for immediate drop off. The Amazon Fresh store is arguably the cleanest market I've ever seen. Very sterile including the shopping carts! I was greeted as soon as I arrived and found the Amazon Customer Service counter at the south end of the store. There is a self-help kiosk now that allows you to simply scan your QR code and drop off your item. I chose to wait in the short line and drop off my return to an employee. It was a very simple process. I left the items in their original packaging and was sent an email as soon as the drop off was completed. Once the item was received at the Amazon base, my refund was processed. Friendly staff here and plenty of parking in this plaza. Enjoy your visit! read more

Popped in after visiting a nearby business in the same plaza. We decided to take a look since we've never been to an Amazon Fresh before. We didn't plan on doing any major shopping. Walking in, it felt nice and two welcoming employees at the front. I noticed two different styles of shopping carts: the "regular" kind and then the "fancy" ones with the scanning devices. Exploring deeper, it felt like a regular grocery store...I noticed that all items were immaculately displayed and prices were clearly visible. Prices seemed competitive and noticed some things even on sale. Decided to check out the prepared foods section as it was approaching lunchtime. I noticed a fully-stocked salad bar as well as ready-to-eat and take-and-bake pizzas which looked really good. A friendly employee went out of his way to explain about the pizzas and that there would be more varieties coming out soon as it was approaching lunchtime. Time to check-out and we were assisted by a cashier who was not really friendly and didn't make a positive first impression - no greeting or smile. I was attempting to pay for my items but she flat-out told me that they don't accept my method of payment and gave me a cold stare without providing any other payment suggestion(s). Her stare was rather condescending and it gave off a weird vibe...like I was "in trouble" for attempting to pay with a non-acceptable method (unbeknownst to me). I can't say that I'm itching to go back anytime soon, but hopefully they would consider placing more personable staff at the registers, as these interactions play a big part in determining my return visits. read more

Came here today to get the frozen butterball turkey special ! ($0.49 per lb) Plenty to choose from! There is a limit to 4 per customer. Head towards the far back right . In the center there's a frozen food bin . Take your pick ! Offer good until Nov. 19th! Also , wanted to try the salad bar today . I got a box and sampled a variety of of cold salads . Though this is my first review, I've been to this Amazon Fresh and others plenty of times. I am a big fan of their hot bar as soon as I realized they were partnered with Whole Foods. This day I planned to come for the hot food before a movie, but was sad to see that it was not opened yet, I believe maybe it was 10 AM? Besides the hot food bar, there's a salad bar, pizza area, sushi and bakery. I LOOOOVE their baked goods. I drive here or to my local Whole Foods to get their brookie, cookie or brownie form, both work. Make sure to not overpack your food because it does add up quickly! Especially some food do weigh more than others. I've never been disappointed by them. They have weekday deals, which I hope to try out someday. Grocery shopping is always nice here, everything is stocked. Everything is clean and its makes shopping enjoyable. It's rarely packed here. You can also return your Amazon packages here as well. Went to return something to Amazon yesterday. I just walked in and the guy greeted me at the front door. Asked me what I needed if I needed help and then I told him I was just picking up a dropping off a package and he said right over there I went there dropped it off. They scanned my barcode and it was done. No box no hassles Then I looked around to see if I wanted anything and their hot food looked pretty good so I bought some things. They tasted pretty good. I walked around the store and found a couple interesting things that I bought. I don't know what people's problem is with this store? They're not the cheapest, but they do have good quality. I'm leaving a 4-star because all of the staff I've interacted with when shopping in store have been super friendly and I appreciate the way they treat their customers. Their consistently good customer service and clean store is the only reason I'm not giving a lower rating despite a bad experience this evening. My in-store experience was great, but as I was putting away my groceries, I realized the 20oz bottle of Heinz 57 I purchased expired on 06/27/2024, it's currently 01/08/2025. How on earth did this bottle not get caught in the 6+ months it's been expired?? Needless to say, it's going back so I can exchange it. I'm also going to be more diligent about checking expiration dates if I decide to shop there again, but it probably won't be for a while because now I'm wondering what other expired items they have on their shelves. read more

Initially I went here since it was the only free option to return an Amazon package that I have ordered and thought that I should check out the market portion too. It's definitely gives off a modern, techie feel for a grocery store, especially since I think you can check out directly from the shopping cart? Pretty neat. There's also a small area with seating and tables, as well as all the amenities needed to eat and enjoy any of your food purchases then and there. I honestly thought that an Amazon Fresh would just be the standard household goods and dried foods you can order off of Amazon, with some fresh and refrigerated products thrown in. Can you imagine my surprise when I saw that they had way more hot and cold deli, salad, pizza, sushi, etc. section? Great to grab a quick meal in all honesty. Prices were either the same as you would find anywhere else or just a tad more expensive. Not much was what I would call a deal let alone a steal. Before stopping by I went to see what was in stock and found that online it stated that this Amazon Fresh had some collard/mustard greens and some other veggies that I've been trying to find for my bearded dragon. Unfortunately when I got there, none were to be found, BUT I did find some small yellow squash which worked for his salad anyways. Will determine on what I grab) in addition to what I'm specifically getting.. when I am checkout out it is fairly quick. I even get greeted as I walk-in.. the environment is not as crowded at certain times of the week.. I will keep that to myself.. also I rather pick up my orders from Amazon here.. Especially, when I'm not going to be home.. on my way home from work (you know these porch pirates are stealing packages from houses; avoid that by picking up packages here I'm guaranteed to get my orders. they close at 10pm. Bring your phone inside to allow Amazon to scan the app and verify your order.. you can also return packages (only from Amazon seller).. will Amazon accept 3rd party seller orders; you will have to arrange with them.. read more

I have been an Amazon Prime member for over 10 years. I was very happy when Amazon Fresh opened up a store less than 5 minutes from my house. I became a loyal shopper and went there about 2 times a week. The prices were great and the Prime Member discounts they offered were awesome. To my disappointment, Amazon Fresh no longer gives the Prime Member discounts like before and there are very little specials in the store. I have cut down my shopping significantly. I am thinking about cancelling my Amazon Prime membership all together because Amazon has made some changes to their Prime Member perks and it is not as appealing anymore. read more

The store inventory is not accurate. I came to get some pies that were on sale and while the inventory said they had everything available, when I went to pickup my order, everything was out. That being said this review is about the store manager, Michael, who was amazing. I told him how I drove 30 mins to this store when I was already at a different Amazon fresh store, specifically because I was looking for the pies that I thought were in stock. He listened and made things right. While I didn't get the pies I originally were looking for, I did get some pies and am happy good people still exist! Thank you for the wonderful experience. New concept in shopping like I'd your a prime member and take the blue push cart you can scan your prime membership and walk around and gather your groceries and just walk out via the same location you walked in. It'll self calculate what you put in your cart. It's not 100% fine tuned yet and it has occasional kinks but it's something new. There are many cameras so lookup and smile to the cameras. Lookout for the buy $40 and get $20 off your order. Essentially 50% off or if they don't have that one then buy $50 and get $10 off. Look for the coupons on your doorstep or in the newspaper. The place is well maintained and the workers are fairly helpful as they have explained to me the concept and various questions I've asked. My coworker only goes to get salmon fish but I find it to be smaller than other places. I've been during the sales so I enjoy the concept and food so far. Give it a try read more

What's up: Had to return a few items we had purchased on Amazon that we no longer needed and instead of giving us the free return option at Kohl's, they gave us the Amazon Fresh option. Never been too one before, so it was an opportunity to check it out. Parking: Parking was plentiful and we didn't have any issues finding any. They had a few spots up front dedicated to EV cars. Environment: Masks are required. Walking in, we looked around to see which way we had to go for the Returns, but the orange wall on the left side of the building made it easy to find. We walked up to the counter and the return was processed quick. We explored the place afterwards. They have a good variety of items available and even have hot foods and a salad bar. I was curious about the Dash Cart where you sign into your account, place items in the bag/cart, and exit through the dedicated Dash Cart lane. We didn't have a lot to buy so we skipped out on that. What was ordered: - Returned items that were purchased on Amazon - French Bread (crisp exterior, soft interior) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Returns are easy here and it's convenient if you need to shop for things. Items purchased at the store will show up on your Amazon account. Only downside is that this place is a bit out of the way since we rarely head down to this area. Kohl's would have been a lot closer for us to get to. Credit cards are accepted. read more

I really miss the store! Customer service here was top notch. No store could compare. The sale items were great, fresh produce, store kept clean, my go-to for flowers, decent item selections, convenience of returning Amazon orders. Clean bathroom facilities. Online orders/delivery and pick up were also a breeze, packed well, and consistent. I boasted the Amazon shop technology and always brought out of state visitors here who were amazed and wished their city had an Amazon Fresh. I learned of the impending closure 1 week before and was saddened and shocked to hear it. Made sure to do a final ham delivery prior to closure; it was my final goodbye sale. It's convenient to come here to return Amazon items. I usually only buy things on sale here, as the average price is slightly higher than at Ralph's, and Ralph's usually has good sales and coupons. I also get a discount on gas at Shell stations by shopping at Ralph's, so that is an added bonus. What I do like about the store is it's spacious and neat. There are many choices, and from what I can tell the produce looks pretty good. I like the pre-cut pineapple, which is not very ripe at some other stores. i like the selection of ready made food.But I have to say, I bought one of those ready to eat roasted chickens and it had no spice or flavor at all! I once came here for a sale on Bubly water and there wasn't any in stock, which was also quite disappointing. The clerks are friendly and give me space to shop but are helpful if needed. read more

Time for an update! We'v revisited a few times and each time everything got much better! Shelves were fully stocked, workers were so friendly and polite. Big improvements! Amazon cart was so convenient to use and pay. It didn't ring up magazines so we had to go through cashier the other day. But we got discount on a magazine for this inconvenience. This is a fairly small store but very organized and super clean. Of course the selections aren't as big as Whole Foods. But it's good for a quick trip for some simple items that I need. This formerly was a Orchard Supply hardware store and was kept a secret before, during and after construction. The grand opening was today and is now the sixth Amazon Fresh location in So Cal. I've been a resident of Friendly Hills Whittier for more than twenty five years and this will be another option to shop with the presence of Amazon Fresh. This will reduce the need to trek to Whole Foods in Yorba Linda - although Whole foods offers more variety and has specialized departments. On the south side of the building there's designated parking for curbside pickup. Designated hour for seniors or persons with underlying medical conditions are daily 7:00 to 8:00 am and regular hours are 8:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. Along with grocery shopping, I now have the option of picking up or returning Amazon orders. In addition, the dash cart is slick bc it scans my items placed in my cart and I avoid the checkout lines - so trick! Tip - be sure not to block the sensors with items or it will effect the efficiency. I also didn't care for the limited size of the dash carts and they aren't allowed outside so I had to transfer my bagged items into a regular cart which was an inconvenience. I'll definitely be visiting this Amazon Fresh on a regular basis. read more

Many of our friends were excited to tell us that Amazon Fresh had opened and they were giving a $10 coupon with any purchase. NOT SO FAST. We stood in line on a typical California January day, which is to say that it was hot as.... well you get the picture. They had one Easy Up and when we noticed that the Dash Cart line was shorter we got into that line. The girl had mentioned that we could use our Amazon Prime account. Awesome, well again, NOT SO FAST!, It turns out that they have a very LIMITED amount of Dash Carts; that's not to say they don't have plenty of carts, they do. But... The Dash Cart has scanners right on the cart itself. As you put items into your cart, the item gets scanned and a weight scale in the cart confirms your order. If you purchase fruits or vegetables, you enter the SKU number [6 digits for the bananas I purchased]. In my case, it asked for a quantity but I would assume if you bought something that was sold by the pound, it would take the measurement in the cart. I wonder how these rolling cart scales will be in six months? They don't allow the cart to exit the building, it all ends when you put the cart on the "Green" carpet near the exit. At that point you can grab a regular cart. So I was tired and HOT and just didn't want to be shopping but I did buy a half gallon of almond milk and six bananas and had no problem. I learned that the purchase had to be over $35 to get the $10 coupon so I didn't get it but I needed to get out. My wife purchased about $60 worth of food but had to put some ground meat and some pork back because the "smart" Dash cart could not read it. The person that was helping her told her that they would charge her at the front. When she did get to the front, they wanted to put her in line, which if I haven't mentioned, is the benefit of the Dash cart and why we waited extra time in line outside. The benefit being that you don't need to go into line inside. So my wife put the meats back, she was getting pretty frustrated too. As for the prices, we didn't see any benefit over ordering at our local Von's, Walmart, Target or Trader Joe's [which is about 1/4 mile away]. They did have a beautiful selection of seafood and they have a baked good area as well as sandwich bar and even sushi, although my wife said it was super expensive. She did order a couple of sandwiches, the French Onion panini was incredible. Even with her $60 order, she did not get a coupon either. The one benefit I do see is that they can have an order ready for you in an hour. I have tried to order at Von's & Walmart for pick up and I have always been told I have to wait until the next day. I just empty my cart and go to Target who does it free and in a couple of hours. Fresh charged me $1.99 to pick up a gallon of almond milk. I could not find the "rules" to see if maybe a min order would get rid of this fee but I could not find the rules page and I just gave up. read more

We decided to check out Amazon Fresh on a Saturday night, around 8pm thinking that there would be less people. Boy, were we wrong lol! The lineup was pretty long but everyone was 6ft apart. There were two line-ups. One for regular carts, and one for Dash Cart. We lined up for Dash Cart because we wanted to try a new grocery shopping experience. The wait was about 30 min to get in. Would we wait that long again? Definitely not. But here was what we experienced. There's an Amazon staff member that signs you in for a Dash Cart with your Amazon Prime account. Then explains how the cart works. The Dash Cart is essentially a smart grocery cart that tracks the items you put in and take out as there are sensors inside the perimeter of the cart that adds or subtracts the item on the screen. With produce, you enter the 6 digit PLU number and enter the number of produce you put in the cart. The cart also has a weight sensor that keeps track of how much produce you actually placed in the cart. There's also cameras inside the cart which likely is for the barcode scanning as well as security purposes. Some notable items that we picked up were 100% natural chicken thighs for a great price as well as a bottle of their Amazon wine brand, Cursive, 2019 Sauvignon Blanc for $9.99. Would recommend! Otherwise, all other items were essentially what you would find at your local Stater Bro's, Ralph's, Albertson's and the likes. There's also a section of Amazon's best seller items (mainly cookbooks, kitchen gadgets and appliances, and electronics). Check out was pretty seamless. We pushed our cart through the green checkout floor, and an Amazon rep would check us out by going through our receipt and ensuring that everything we picked up was accounted for. So that's basically it! Would we drive out 20 minutes to get groceries at Amazon Fresh again? Probably not. But it was a cool and innovative way of grocery shopping which I will give to Amazon. The store is very clean and tidy. Keep in mind that the Dash Cart is much smaller than the regular cart (where you would check out as you normally would at a cashier), and is meant for light shopping. Wear your mask, keep your distance, and check them out if you're curious! read more

Came here a little after 11am on a Tuesday and was disappointed that they didn't have their rotisserie chicken out yet. Usually a store like Costco would know better than that. One negative - they do not accept Apple Pay! While I know it's their rival (Amazon has some online payment system, too), Amazon Pay is just aaccepted everywhere! This store is not as technologically advanced as other Amazon Fresh stores which allow you to scan with your app and shop from there. I notice that Amazon stores are still not universal in the way you shop-- either your cart is computerized or it's not. This one has computerized carts but it seems like the focus is to just use your credit card/ purchase your items at check-out. The weird part of this experience is that I never scanned my app / logged into my Amazon account at check-out, but the register recognized the credit card I used and linked it to my Amazon account / even emailed my account as well! read more

It's a cold place, employees acting like robots, if you buy alcohol they ask you to see your ID, even if you are and look like a senior and they don't look at the document, they just took your ID and scan it without your consent, in a clear violation of your right to refuse your ID to been scanned, compromising your valuable personal information. They also allow homelessness people into the store, wich is unsafe and unsanitary matter. I definitely will avoid this place to make businesses, looking for places more warmer and friendly. read more

Anyone can shop here! You don't need to have an Amazon account! If you have the amazon app, you can get additional deals and discounts on certain items in the store! There are two different shopping carts available. 1) traditional shopping cart 2) shopping cart syncs with your Amazon app and calculates your shopping as you go! -- one thing bad about this cart is you can't fit a lot so if you plan to do a lot of shopping I would recommend leaning towards the traditional shopping cart. Each item in the store has the price tag plus each item has number of stars and number of Amazon reviews which is different from other stores! Store was super organized and clean! Store is not as big as a traditional grocery store but it has everything that you would need. Workers were friendly and nice. The prices at Amazon Fresh are higher than your average grocery store so I wouldn't shop here unless I have a discount coupon. Luckily, I can check on the prices, prior to going, if I look up on the Amazon app. This location also is limited on inventory because they did not have a lot of the items I saw advertised for sale. The items that they do have, are well stocked and organized. This store is very clean and I like that they have the dash carts for contactless transactions. We've been to this store a few times now and only go when we get a coupon in the mail. Today, our $20 off $40 coupon was about to expire so we went to pick up a couple of pizzas and small groceries. Overall, it's a clean supermarket, but I'm giving it lower stars because the prices are pretty high compared to shopping for groceries at Walmart, Target, Sprouts, Trader Joes, or Aldi, so for that, I don't think it's worth going here on a regular basis. For some reason, I had thought part of the Amazon concept was to have less employees because of self-checkout and put those savings to consumers, but it doesn't seem to have worked out that way. Also, when you do ask for service, it's usually not very friendly. It's probably on par with every other grocery store. Finally, what I notice whenever I go here are a lot of employees shopping for Amazon Fresh delivery service, so you'll see a lot of employees gathering groceries, which make the store often empty on products many of the times. I definitely would only go here when a good coupon comes in the mail, and even that, it wouldn't be a must to go since their higher prices might overcome the coupon anyway. read more
