Are the lights kept on throughout the movie in the dine-in experience auditoriums?

No, house lights are turned down, just like the non dine in theaters.

Can you order alcoholic drinks at the bar and bring them into a non dine-in theater?

You absolutely can bring in alcohol. No idea what the other person is talking about.

Is there dine in food available besides the basics like popcorn etc?

Yes they have their dine in menu available on the dine in side. To have to order at the bar and they will bring it to your seat.

If you had no choice because the theater is full.. would you sit in the second row of the dine in only seating? or skip for better seats?

I would stay because they're all recliner style and it's very comfy not like the old seats

The answer my friends, is the good old classic American dive bar. Now, many places like to call themselves a dive bar just because they never clean a single inch of their establishment and have seedy patrons that love to play the more than occasional 80's songs on the jukebox but don't be mistaken, a good dive bar is hard to find. Well, I happen to have found one and it's in Fullerton of all places. That's right, Fullerton, not Los Angeles, nor Hollywood nor some pop-culturally over-hyped city. What makes The Blue Door a good dive bar? First, there's earned consistency & routine. The drinks won't always be made well, or the bartender won't always be attentive but if you come a few times, you'll soon know at what time and day the drinks are made properly by knowing the schedules of the bartenders. Secondly, the drinks are stiff, the service is friendly and nobody bothers you unless you bother them. The atmosphere goes from lively and loud to quiet and solitary, again depending upon when you visit. Lastly, they're open from 6:00AM-2:00AM. They're not just there when the hipsters are around, they're there for you whenever you make the bad decision of using alcohol as an anesthetic. Tables are very limited so I highly recommend booking a reservation online. You check in with the host by the sake barrels and they will guide you in. The reservation allots you 90 minutes to dine and drink, and it was honestly the perfect amount of time. My boyfriend got 3 drinks, and I got 2, all were amazing and so unique! The bartender did a good job of rotating around everyone and pacing you pretty well in the process. We sat right at the bar and really enjoyed being up close and watching our bartender make these beautiful creations, it's honestly an art! I can't wait to come back! We ate lunch right before coming here, but next time we would love to try some bites since everything looked and smelled so good! Such a fun and unique experience, I highly recommend following them down the rabbit hole;)

THEN, and yall; I was a little lit but not drunk drunk, I was talking to the bar tender we were chopping it up and having a good talk then this girl who I said I hi to thought I was hitting on her and I told her I was married to a man and then I asked her "did you think I was hitting on you" she dismissed me but then apparently she told the bar tender that I did something because I was ASKED TO LEAVE - I have never in my life written a review for anywhere and I also have never EVER been escorted out of a bar at all let alone for no valid reason. I wish it went better because love dancing and it's a place to dance near my house but i definitely will never be back and would NOT reccomend this bar to anyone ever.

There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant which is often full. We usually park in the free multi-story parking garage just east of Harbor and Wilshire. It is a short one block walk to High Horse from there. As the name suggests, the décor is very western themed with lots of wood, cowboy hats and boots, wagon wheels, lassos, saddles, taxidermy, etc. Seating options include booths, high top tables, and at the bar. They have happy hour Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm with food and drink specials. We started out with the pickle fries ($12) which were excellent. The pickle slice thickness to batter ratio was perfect, and they were served with a side of ranch. My first cocktail was The Smoking Gun (bacon washed Elijah Craig bourbon, maple syrup, angostura bitters, orange bitters, $18). It is smoked tableside and was a healthy pour. The bacon and maple flavor was very light, but it was very smooth. Her first cocktail was What Would Dolly Do? (Hornitos plata tequila, Los Sundays jalapeno tequila, Del Maguey peubla mezcal, simple syrup, lime, pineapple, grapefruit, $16). It was balanced with good jalapeno flavor and pineapple below with a light smokiness. For my entrée, I had the half slab of baby back rips ribs ($28) with coleslaw and fries. The plate arrived steaming hot and I was impressed with the portion of ribs. There were seven meaty ribs that were very flavorful and the BBQ sauce was good. The fries were crisp and seasoned, and the coleslaw was good too. She had the Up The Creek spice rubbed cedar-plank salmon ($26) with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The portion of salmon was good and it was flavorful. The asparagus was cooked well, but they were over salted. She also enjoyed the potatoes. My second cocktail was the Skinny Dipper (Tito's vodka, St. Germain, aloe vera water, watermelon, lime, $15). This drink was light and refreshing, with floral notes, and watermelon and lime standing out. It also had a great looking color. Her second cocktail was Ladies Love Outlaws (rose petal infused Ketel One vodka, St. Germain, simple syrup, grapefruit, lemon, rose wine, $16). This was also light with floral notes, and had good grapefruit flavor. It was very lively at 6:30pm on a Thursday evening. We left a little after 8pm, and the place was packed as they have line dancing. There was a big crowd of at least twenty people dancing in front of the restaurant and having a great time. The service was good, and our server was very friendly. The food and drinks were great, and I think they were a pretty good value for the price.

I attended Chako's Social for the Mexico vs. England World Cup match and, unfortunately, it was the…read moreworst World Cup viewing experience I've had in nearly 30 years of attending matches at venues across Southern California. The venue appeared to be focused on creating a nightclub atmosphere rather than providing a proper football watch party. There was a DJ, extremely loud music, and a host who continuously provided her own commentary throughout the match. Instead of allowing fans to enjoy the game, she repeatedly interrupted play with jokes, personal observations, and constant microphone chatter that distracted from the match. Halftime was especially frustrating. Rather than preparing for the second half, the host performed multiple songs while fans on the patio were asking for the match audio to be turned on. Even after the game resumed, the unnecessary commentary continued for the remainder of the match. To make matters worse, there was a $30 cover charge. I purchased tickets for my entire group in advance, spending well over $200 before food and drinks. For that price, I expected a venue that understood people were there to watch one of the biggest sporting events in the world--not to watch the host become the center of attention. A great World Cup watch party lets the match create the atmosphere. The crowd, the chants, the tension, and the emotion are what make these events memorable. Unfortunately, those moments were constantly interrupted. I genuinely wanted to like Chako's Social, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. If you're looking for a true football viewing experience where the game comes first, I cannot recommend it based on my visit.

We had a very disappointing experience at Regency Theatres at The Source today…read more Before our movie, we dined at one of the restaurants inside The Source and had some leftovers. Because we respect the theater's policy regarding outside food, we specifically asked theater staff if they could store our food for us while we watched the movie. They agreed, and an employee helped us store the food. We wrote down our name and the time we would return after the movie to pick it up. We had absolutely no intention of bringing our leftovers into the auditorium or eating them during the movie. We were simply trying to follow the theater's rules and be respectful. However, once we were inside the theater, we noticed another couple sitting near us with a large bag of outside food and bottled water. They were openly eating and drinking during the movie. We understand that sometimes people sneak food into theaters and staff cannot catch every situation, but this was not subtle at all. It felt unfair that we went out of our way to follow the rules while others appeared to ignore them without any issue. After the movie, when we picked up our food, we politely mentioned the situation to the manager. We were not trying to get anyone in trouble. We simply felt that the rules should be applied consistently to everyone. Unfortunately, what happened next made the experience much worse. As we were walking by, the ticket checker, Mark Kim, loudly yelled at us, "No more outside food next time! No more outside food!" in front of other customers. His tone was rude, confrontational, and loud enough to draw attention from people around us. What made this especially upsetting was that he knew exactly what had happened. He knew we had not brought food into the theater. He knew the theater had agreed to store our leftovers for us before the movie. He knew we were simply picking up the food that staff had been holding for us. Yet he chose to loudly make that comment in public, creating the impression that we had sneaked food into the theater when that was never the case. It felt like we were being publicly embarrassed for raising a concern about inconsistent enforcement of the rules. We actually felt bad when we saw the manager speaking with him because we never intended for him to get in trouble. We only wanted to point out that the rules should apply equally to everyone. Instead, it seemed like he took his frustration out on us. Customers should never be publicly shamed, especially when they were trying to follow the rules from the beginning. If anything, we went out of our way to do the right thing by asking staff to store our leftovers rather than bringing them inside. The inconsistent enforcement of the rules, combined with the rude and unprofessional behavior we experienced afterward, turned what should have been an enjoyable movie outing into a frustrating and embarrassing experience. We left feeling disrespected and unfairly treated. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning to this theater.

Also nobody answers the phones at this location. I tried calling many times but nobody ever picked up. You will still see employees wandering around but don't expect them to answer the phone or you for any questions. Additionally if you want to buy any sold out merch, they will direct you to another wrong location that doesn't have it. And since none of the locations answer phones, you won't be able to call and verify and instead you'll waste your time going to another location believing the employee that the other location is stocked but will end up with nothing cause it's a lie and the employee just wasted your time. Just to go an AMC, I never had any of these issues with AMC. Regal isn't worth the effort.
