Do not order the steak and shrimp bowl!!! It is nasty and will not look like what's on the menu. The steak was very tuff, they had a teriyaki sauce that was so sweet u could possibly get a cavity. I asked my server to switch it out for the burger and OMG it's like night and day. That burger is so freaking good. Just thinking about it makes me want to watch a movie to order one. As for the facilities umm they were okay. I liked that the chairs reclined. Basically a normal experience for a theater in this area. The staff here leaves a TON to be desired and I am being polite, which the staff themselves couldn't seem to muster. It took over an hour to get my food which arrived to me cold, then I was told I'd have to get my own soft drink. This wouldn't have been a problem for me, but the person was very matter of fact about it, almost as if my asking was inconvenient. The food here is way too simply constructed to take that long. My friend who I came with waited even longer for her food and both the manager and a member of the bartending staff were rude to her for asking for her food and a refund. Go to any other theater in the DFW, they have no idea how to properly interface with customers, they're rude where they should be apologetic, and they begrudgingly offer any reasonable remedy their mess ups. We are regulars here but not because it's a great movie theater, it's due to the proximity to our home. My wife and I love going to the movies and we are Stubs A-List members. Being a A-List member is a good deal if you attend the movies at least once a week. After two visits you already covered the monthly membership cost, especially if you watch special format screenings. This theatre is one of the better AMC locations available but it does lack in a number of areas. The food they offer is expensive and not very good. You pretty much pay for the ability to eat as you watch a movie, not necessarily the quality of food. The wait staff is hit or miss. The theaters are fairly clean but the main lobby needs some work on most visits. Also the condiment areas in the main lobby are usually not working or completely out. The good thing is this location has a number of theaters so you will always find available times. The dine in theaters include recliners that are actually pretty nice, but you need to reserve your movie early in the week to ensure you have a ticket. There is a bar available so you can have drinks delivered straight to your seat, but like the food it's also pretty expensive. Overall this location is worth a visit and one of the better AMC theatre locations available. If you compare them to non AMC theaters it will rate pretty low, so be aware that this may not be your cup of tee if you have visited a Studio Movie Grill or a Alamo Drafthouse recently. read more

I don't really have high expectations for a movie theater, but this theater - that was in previous experiences not bad, was just sad, scary, and dirty. The crowd was extremely rough and a huge fight broke out outside. The seats were torn apart . Sticky floors. No ice. My son wanted a milk shake. They said they'd bring it to us. After 30 minutes I went to check. They said it could take 45 mins to an hour. There were many security guards on staff- which was good.... But we will have to drive a little further and go to a different theater next time. read more

I had not been to this theater since 2002 when Spiderman came out, but it has definitely had an upgrade since. It's a nice and clean theater, but only some of the screens have reclining seats, although the others are comfy too. My only complaint was that there was so much light on the steps in the theater that the reflected light on the screen was noticeable even while the movie was playing and it was not a dine in screen, so there is no excuse for that much light. read more

It is Fourth of July weekend managers could you have not been better prepared for the crowd you were about to get hit with. Our first time will be the last time. This was our first visit since this AMC was remodeled and turned into a "dine-in" (which has been a long time). We decided to skip the long concession line to order food (this was the only way) and waited until we got home to eat. They don't seem to understand the dine-in concept. It supposed to convenient and everything is done from your seat. The second thing was we discovered that our seats were double sold. That's right, we purchased tickets online and after getting seated, a group came up that had seats with our locations on them. They checked with staff and indeed there was some snafu. They were initially re-seated elsewhere then another group came up and they had to move again. I mean wow, can these guys run a movie theater or not? Went to see Lightyear July 11, 2022 with my granddaughter. The theater lights stayed on all the way through the movie. The screen was awash in light and spoiled what turned out to be a pretty good movie. I was disappointed and so was my granddaughter. I had plans to go see a couple of other movies in the next week. I changed my plans and have bought tickets at another theater. I won't waste my time and money at this theater again. They obviously don't care about the customer experience. It's like this theater has just decided to be the dirtiest theater around. I brought my son to see minions on Sunday afternoon and walk into napkins and popcorn all over the floor of the theater. Get to my seat and popcorn and wadded up napkins all in it. I had to go into the kitchen to get someone's attention and they never sent help. I had to go chase a kid down with a broom and dustpan and she gave me attitude that she was having to help me so I didn't have to sit in someone's filth. The entire theater is this way. I am happy to say this lovely lady named Heidy Fallad helped me and made my experience better completely. She attended to my needs like helping me butter my popcorn! This was the worst theater I have ever been in. Parking lot and in front of the building is trashy. Inside was worse. Floors in lobby sticky and nasty. And today EVERY one of the 5 drink machines were almost empty of every selection. Only a few choices of diet or sugar free. Every other drink favor was out. Also There were no icees in all four machines. No napkins. No salt. No butter. And they ran out of popcorn and had to make people wait to pop more. And if you asked a person that works there "are you going to refill everything" they just kinda stared at you. So many complaints from every customer there today. If this is a shipping or ordering issue at least have the place nice clean and presentable. And let customers know in advance that you are out of everything and apologize. Some managers or owners need to take serious look into this theater. It is a pathetic example for AMC. maybe someone can reach out to the owners. read more

This place is SO disgusting. I spent over $50 on tickets and snacks. I was debating leaving while standing in line because the lobby alone was covered in food and trash and I honestly should have. Instead I sucked it up and told myself "they are probably under staffed and busy." Additionally, my boyfriend couldn't even use the bathroom because apparently there was a massive back flow issue going on in there. Unfortunately once we entered the theatre, it was just as nasty. Everything was sticky old popcorn all over the place. We sat through 15 minutes of the new Cruella movie before getting up and leaving. I just could not take sitting in the filth. So im a avid movie watcher and i pay for premiere . I work overnight shifts so i go to the movies around there 10 a clock seeings since im sleeping during the day ( haven't had a issue and im 20 ) i book a ticket for oct 6 @10:05 , oct 7 is my birthday i will turn 21 . I go in with my boyfriend the lady scans my ticket and she looked at me and asked me how old i was ( not knowing about this policy and nobody ever stopping me before) i said 20 and my boyfriend was also 20 . She told me she couldn't let me in because i needed a adult , i told her that i would physically be 21 by the end of the night and she said she still couldn't allow it . Then we got a refund and she proceeded to tell me maybe i should have brought a adult with me . I was there yesterday watching Annabelle , & there were three women behind me who were talking and talking the whole movie. They just wouldn't shut up, like seriously it was a waste of time trying to pay attention because they just wouldn't be quiet, they had a full blown conversation about their whole life & they kept laughing and they were very disruptive. Many of us told them to shut up and they kept talking like on purpose. So I pressed my button hoping I could get a server to come and tell them something but 30mins passed and my server never came, then movie was over . I was very disappointed though because my husband and I rarely ever get any date nights. Yesterday we had to pay for a babysitter to enjoy a movie together and it was very sad that we couldn't enjoy the movie due to the people behind us talking and talking. Also I had ordered a lemonade & the server brought me a sweet tea, after my husband told her we wanted a lemonade before movie started she never came back with a lemonade. So I paid $6 for a tea I never ever ordered??? So movie was over & my husband realized he left the car keys in the theater room so we went back to get them, as we walked in we heard the servers were complaining about how no one left them a tip and how people were cheap or whatever, well I mean maybe if they would be more attentive, costumers would tip them well. read more

First impression... the "dine-in" designation makes it appear that it's like a Studio Movie Grill or Alamo Drafthouse where you actually sit in the theater and get served a meal. It's just a slightly updated food court with more food options than just popcorn and hot dogs. The seats were a bit small, they don't recline but you can raise the armrest if you want more room with the person next to you. Overall it was a B quality theater -- nothing horrible to report but it wasn't anything fancy or special about this theater. They do have really good sound system and the screens wrap around nicely. Also you reserve your seat so there is no confusion on who is sitting where. read more

One of the largest if not the largest AMC's in the Dallas metro area so they have a lot of showings longer than a normal size theater. However don't be fooled, it's near one of the worst areas in Dallas and the only theater near said area (Pleasant Grove) so sometimes there's tomfoolery at later showings. As for the theater itself it's one of the few still requiring masks (thanks for having the sign posted) so if you decide not to wear one you'll be directed to Guest Services to get a mask....for $1. I have never seen a place charge for readily available PPE the entire pandemic and that was just embarrassing. Not as clean as other close locations (Northpark, Firewheel). Needs to be a lot more enforcement in other areas instead of just masks. Dine-In Menu is good but overpriced as expected. read more

The AMC mesquite dine in theatre is the worst movie going experience I've had in the past decade! $25 bucks for stale popcorn, half frozen slurpee, flat soda with only half the machines having ice so everyone had to wait in line to use those. The seats are falling apart, the theatres are hot and filthy and the staff is rude. Haven't even started the movie yet and it's already a miserable experience! I am not too happy about this place. Every where else you go they honor you as a veteran and give you a discount and usually it's you and another guest. But this movie theater refused to honor that. Spoke to three managers who we're standing side by side and they refused to discount my other ticket. Pretty much said they have some rule that says military discount is per each ID. Corporate or whoever is in charge: I feel you should honor veterans and discount their ticket and their spouse or other half, reason for this is then they serve and put their live at risk their other half is home helping to keep personal affairs in order and as far as I am concerned they both served!! All their food and candy is unavailable and the ones they have look old, even their "fresh" popcorn looks days old! Exactly what are you selling? I prefer SMG - the service is slow here and bartenders are rude. Not all but a lot and there are aload of children that attend AMC. Seems like smg is for the adults 23+ , AMC families. The food is also expensive , it's like they fancied concession stand food and doubled the price. Nonetheless it's not all negative, I like they ease accessibility of theatre for disabled people. Went with family to catch two different movies, there was about an hour wait in between the two, my mother thought she'd order wings in the downtime to snack on, before we left, she was told there would be a 20min wait. 20mins turned into 40mins and the wings looked microwaved. The manager apologized and that was about it, he's repetitive, go-to phrase, was "I'm sorry there's really nothing we can do about it." I ordered the cinnamon pretzel bites and not a sprinkle of cinnamon on them. Half the soft drink machines didn't work. The previous reviews are correct, the theater is typically in a constant state of uncleanliness. I'd recommend going for the movie and popcorn and that's about it. A few issues. 1. The large parking lot is poorly lit. Not safe for patrons. 2. The line to get condiments was not managed well with only 3 workers for a opening night of a popular fIlm 3. 8:14 and the previews still had not started for an 8pm show. No previews were shown because of the lateness of the film but when the film started... 4...there was no sound and after showing 3 minutes of it, they had to start it over. 5. The theater is large and most of the theaters are decent. But the snack area is FILTHY and even on a slow day, nobody seems to care! Why is everything so sticky and grimy?? Why is it that Sweet Frogs and Bahama Bucks serve nothing but liquid sugar yet manage to stay clean? The kids who work here are clearly punching a clock. A few possess actual customer service skills but that's the exception not the rule. Today I waited almost 10 minutes to order a beer at the bar. One girl was waiting on everyone and two other girls were just standing behind the bar chatting. When it was finally my turn, I asked the one girl working if the other two couldn't wait on people. I thought maybe they were bar backs, underage, etc. she said "oh they're about to clock out." Okay. Then either leave, or help. Today I went to see the new Black Panther movie. It cost me $17 about to see the movie. My friend and I chose this location because we could eat while watching the movie. I ordered at approximately 7:10 according to my receipt. I got my alcoholic drink and went to sit. Around 8:05 we still had not gotten our food and my friend went to check they told her it's an hour wait. I still was gonna let it go because i rarely get to go anywhere and wanted to have a good time. My friend gets her food about 5min later and they inform us they don't deliver drinks and we had to get them ourselves. The bartender we ordered from did not tell us this, that was strike 2. I got to check on my food after over an hour and he takes my receipt to check on it. And gives me my cups for drinks that he never gave in the first place. Still waiting....a whopping 1 hour and 55min later I ask to speak to a manager and he's awful soooo rude! I am obviously rightfully upset. He says well sorry they should've told you it was 1.5 hour wait like no big deal. They didn't! And I told him I wanted my food and a refund as that's what any restaurant would do. He proceeds to tell me "this ain't a restaurant it's a movie theatre" he had no sympathy and deflected. Hey AMC stop calling it a dine in then. It's a theatre and no matter what errors y'all make you don't hold yourselves accountable. I was so hungry I took the food which was gross. And he gave me two movie tickets after I complained of missing over 20min of the movie continually coming out to check on my food! All of which was done with an attitude and disdain. The whole place needs better staff and proper training. Even the bartender expressed his frustrations in front of me when I checked on my food saying "I came to bartend not go on a scavenger hunt!" Went to see Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse just to have the screen black out for over 30 minutes with only the audio playing. Eventually they rewound it but missed a healthy chunk of what was blacked out. Waste of $17. read more
