    Was at Orange County Airport today for a flight from OC to Fort Worth. Showed up 2.5 hours early. I went to the counter where four American Airlines employees were standing and asked a question about getting on an earlier flight. Sadly one of the women immediately screeched that I cannot get on an earlier flight and at the exact same time another horrible creature said "go on the app". I thought this odd as they were relaying differing information. I have never done a standby flight but was shocked at the level of angst and disgust that any customer would ask a question. I guess they are so used to being insulated from answering questions that the mere idea that they'd have to help someone sent them off the edge. I remember a time when customer care gave care. The flight I was inquiring wasn't boarding for another hour and there was no one in line at the time of my inquiry. The people at the desk prior to boarding were just plain rude. The moral to the story and lesson learned is that if you show up early to an airport go to the ticket desk. Once you've made it past security no one will help you.

    Had a bird not hit my incoming plane and delayed. So my connection was super tight. Which meant my luggage wasn't going to make it. Luckily I was close to my connection gate at ORD, so I made it, albeit the door gate was closed (shockingly they opened it - door on plane wasn't closed) but still.... They opened gate door for me! (Nice job ORD) But luggage didn't make it. But.... It will be delivered to hotel in AM. And they gave me this toiletry bag. I joked about needing a toothbrush and they pulled out this nice bag. Had everything I needed in it! And the bag itself is good enough to keep! Luggage didn't make it but nice job American to offer this! You just have to ask! Service a 5. Baggage not making it a 2. But we'll go with a 3 overall.

I was staying in…read moreNewport Beach for a few days and it was only natural to try and find a flight that landed here. The location of SNA is ideal if you're staying in the OC - the only other options in the area are SAN and LAX which are both over an hour drive away in either direction. The airport isn't large, but large enough to have several routes passing through it. The aesthetics are fine - not the most modern airport I've been to, and they seem to have a good amount of shops and eateries relative to their size. The rental car counters are super close to the terminal - I can't remember the last time I walked to one from baggage claim. My only real issue with SNA is that because of its size, you will likely be limited in routes. Flying from JFK to SNA was fine, but coming home my only options were connecting flights or a red eye. Neither were ideal, so I planned my itinerary accordingly to fly out of another airport. Overall, SNA is good for what it is, and a great option if you're visiting the Orange County area.

Finally we both got through and I was at the gate to board and my companion was 200 feet away walking to catch up, they told me that I went through the door now or they were closing it. I said, "but they're right there!" They could see my friend walking and they shut the door 30 seconds before my friend arrived. Unbelievable! I said I'd never fly with them again. Today I am. 100 dollars for a check in bag so I brought none. Got the thicket last week. Got an email to check in. I clicked on it and it should me nothing to click on so I figured "no big deal". At the desk 30 minutes ago, they said that you have to check in online or it's a $25 fee. I went back to the email and it only gives you the option to get the App. They assured me I don't have to get the app... but they expect you to come 3 hours ahead of flight to have them assist you with their email that offers no link to check in. This airline gouges you wherever they can... very distrust worthy. I hope they don't skimp on plane parts.

    Someone left a number to contact the airlines listed above , however I don't believe that the…read morenumber provided is a real number . If the number is real , then that's unfortunate because they are rude , they cut you off while talking , they have attitudes , very impatient & keeps trying to throw you high priced tickets to choose from & then proceed to rush you to buy them . They claim they don't allow pets to fly , then later said they only allow small dogs to fly . Next they tried to charge me almost $1000 then claims the dog travel fee is $200 . He stated the prices I seen online & on their website / mobile app is incorrect & not updated . He's a liar , because this wasn't my first time booking through them , I just never called the number for customer service to speak w/ anyone . My ticket online one way plus 2 additional children ages 2-11 was less than $500 . If a small pet is an additional $200 then I would be looking at about $700 one way , so how did it jump to almost $1000 . Do Not Recommend !!!!

    Not sure if the new group boarding benefits customers and has it improved the boarding process…read more Still need to set alarm 23:58 minutes prior to the check in time to check in within the 24 hours timeline without paying xtra for assigned seat. Plane was full and the system selected my boarding group 8 (the last group) but sat in the extra leg room section. On flight back same process but was selected into group 4 front seat again xtra room leg with better snacks lol One pet peep- not enough over hang space. When I got to my seat, overhang storage was full all around and need to place luggages few rows back. Just a pain trying to get your luggages when leaving. Hope the new system can be more efficient.

THEY HAVE LOST LOT OF CUSTOMERS DUE TO THEIR 360 DEGREE TURN AROUND ON CUSTOMER SERVICE, and GREEDY COST MODEL Their employees are even all miserable ! Used to be happy and friendly -- NOT anymore! Down right RUDE! Their CEO needs to be gone -- and they need to hire someone that cares about their customer base! I NOW HATE SOUTHWEST AIRLINES ! And will NEVER fly them again! They have stole a ton of money from me, and everyone else that lost their flight credits !!
