During my recent visit, a bald male employee asked me, "Have you been here last weekend?" I said yes and mentioned that I'm there almost every weekend. He then asked if I was looking for something in particular. I said that I usually come in to see if I can find something on sale, and his response was, "Not this store." I honestly found the comment unnecessary and very unwelcoming. As a regular customer, that's not the kind of interaction I expect when walking into a store. There are much better ways to communicate with customers without making them feel like they're being pushed away.
