WoW! This is by far the mother of all Centurion Lounges. We were welcomed by Sue, Aaliyah and Yasmine in a chorus of joy and kindness! With two terraces high drops ceiling, Amex makes your stay in Atlanta so worthwhile! The food is Southern with some impressive and healthy buffet choices love their cheese grits for breakfast. This lounge opened in February with some incredible reviews and it is well deserved. The menu has been designed by Deborah Vantrece who is one of the South best known chef promoting very healthy food. Service is super friendly. Deighton is a great customer manager of this delightful lounge. Even if your balls are crushed he knows how to turn around the experience and make it memorable. read more

FINALLY, the Atlanta airport has a Centurion Lounge! It never made sense to me how the busiest airport in the world did not have one do these lounges for the longest, but now all is wrongs have been righted (hallelu-yerr!) This is the biggest lounge for the brand that I have visited and it is absolutely stunning! There is lots of glass in the floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light and facilitate unobstructed views of planes on the tarmac. The tree that serves as the centerpiece in the main part of the lounge is nice and all the adornments hanging from the ceiling are lovely as well. I will say the lounge was very busy during my visit so I wasn't able to score a comfy lounge chair/sofa seat, but I was able to find a seat near the bar. Lunch was being served so I tried the pot roast, green beans, and carrots. Bay-bee! When I tell you the beef in that pot roast was so tender and it was perfectly seasoned! I was pleasantly surprised and I definitely went back for seconds. There was also a salad bar, fruit/dessert station, and coffee available. I love that they have craft cocktails here so I opted for the Old Hamburg. I fully enjoyed that cocktail and decided to switch my second drink from a glass of sparkling wine to another one of these cocktails. Minus one star because they have a "one drink at a time" rule so generally, you have to join the line every time to get your next drink which can be a bit inconvenient. Brita (Breta?) was my bartender and she was amazing! She was friendly, full of personality, and her service was outstanding! I would come back just for her alone. But overall, I had a great experience at this lounge and can't wait to visit again. read more

Very bougie. It was a great experience to visit the Centurion, especially after they just opened. The food offerings are very upscale and much nicer than other airport lounges. The interior is beautiful and there is ample comfortable seating. The latte machine was great, and all of the food was phenomenal. Great experience. The bartenders at the side bar tonight were Jah and Ashlee. They were both amazing. I had drinks there both on and off-menu, there was never a moment of hesitation. They were friendly, prompt, and just nice people. The food was great, a nice assortment of greens and healthy food mixed with the comfort food you may crave when traveling. The bussers are On. Point! You never have an empty plate waiting long on your table. It's worth what you pay to have the platinum card. I really want to love it.... We went to the AMEX Centurion Lounge this am- myself, my husband and our three children, one of whom is grown and had already been. Upon arrival, the check in attendant was helpful and extremely thorough in explaining everything. The lounge is beautiful. It's spacious and bright. There are a variety of seating options, some indoor, some outdoor, all with different "scenery". Once we were seated, we went and grabbed some food. The breakfast selection was lacking. There were scrambled eggs, sausage, sweet potato hash, an Apple & Brie French Toast and a red bean dish. The food was ok. But, I honestly expected better. My daughter assured me that the last time she'd come the food was much better. Maybe on my next trip... Once the bar opened, we had pineapple mimosas. Those were delicious, and certainly hit the spot. Overall, I'll definitely come back to the AMEX Centurion Lounge ATL. It was larger than the others I've been to, and I enjoyed the vibe. The NEW American Express Centurion Lounge by Gate E11 is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Recently opened on February 14th of this year and it lives up to the hype. Has two outdoor terraces with seating, three coffee bars, whiskey reserve/bar, main bar area, ample seating, wonderful staff and lots of variety for all the travel needs. I was in absolute awe- truly. What a great experience. Definitely makes the centurion fee worth it and worth the extra walk from a terminal to go experience and relax. read more

Our Friday flight afternoon turned out ok. We came to the airport early to enjoy the recent centurion lounge in ATL. It was very busy, and the front desk seemed already worned and didn't feel too welcoming. Since I am a Delta flyer, I normally fly out of concourse A or concourse B, so coming to the E concourse is a bit of a trek. Flew out of Atl to an international destination for a girls trip and visited the new Centurion Lounge. We had eaten prior to arriving so we grabbed a mimosa from on of the bars. The drink was overall good and service decent. We had trouble locating a spot to sit and once we did it was surrounded by dirty plates, glasses, a d half eaten food...not the most appetizing. I had a return flight through the airport on the evening of 5/22 that was delayed so I decided to head to the lounge. When I was initially greeted in line I was told "I was just squeaking by...given my flight would take off in a little less than 3 hours". I understand the lounge can get packed but 3 hours is the cutoff and I was within it, the comment definitely made me feel as if I was not welcome. When I got to the actual counter for check in the experience with Tearle was much different as he was actually kind and welcoming, and quite quick to check me in. Again once entering the lounge there were very few spots to sit (I was alone this time) and what was actually available was dirty. I ended up bussing a table myself by removing dishes, napkins, and asking for a sanitizing wipe from one of the staff to clean the table. Overall the lounge has a nice aesthetic that is dampened by the dirtiness. Would be ideal for the lounge to hire more staff to help clean. Also, guests should be encouraged to clean up after themselves...would help if there were bins for dirty plates and more trash cans around. read more

Wow. My first time in this lounge that opened 2 weeks ago here in ATL. This place is huge and has lots of comfortable seating everywhere. There are 2 outdoor terraces. I came here at 6am and there was no line. Lots of staff that are super attentive. Breakfast food was great and their cheese grits are to die for. We had a delta flight. We paid to get into a delta lounge in Tampa in Lieu of a centurion lounge because one wasn't there . When we landed e's in Atlanta, the centurion lounge wouldn't honor that we JUST PAID for our guest. If they are going to tie themselves they should fully tie. I am being generous with a 3 because they were so rude that we turned around. I told the lady that I'd never been so was needing some information. I saw it on my Delta App and I get a complementary guest pass with them due to my AMEX. I thought that was the same but she said no and I was okay with that, but she just was not someone I'd want at the front of my business. It seemed to annoy her that I was actually asking questions and not familiar with the lounge rules. I'll stick to the Delta Lounges. They're most definitely understaffed in the bourbon room. One bartender was present when two were needed on a busy Friday afternoon. And the one that was working seemed to be new to the position. What a disappointment. I had been looking forward to visiting this lounge in ATL. Recently was there for breakfast. Most foods were lukewarm at best. You cannot even toast your biscuit to put sausage gravy on it. So, essentially the biscuit is an out of the fridge biscuit that may be getting to room temperature. Not appetizing. The sausage Pattie's were cooked on parts, but not browned on other parts as if they were cooked overlapping. Not an appealing presentation. I was thinking they may have a chef making omelets, or something special. The space is pretty but I would only go back if I had no other premium lounge options. The Delta Sky clubs are much better, if you have the option. The staff clearing tables were plentiful and efficient. read more
