Prices are not the cheapest, but in line with what you'd expect to pay in downtown Arlington Heights. Service is friendly, and fairly quick even when they get a rush of visitors during beautiful summer afternoons. For those looking for something different like trivia or board games, they do have special nights here and Meetup Groups that hold special events here from time to time.

The inside is small, so this is great for a group of 4 or less ideally - but they really do make the most out of their space. There's lots of seating around the bar. When it's nice out, they also open the outside area for even more seating, which is nice to see. What I didn't love is that most of the chairs are those godforsaken metal chairs that anyone over 30 years old most likely has beef with (or is it just me?). also adding, this may have just been the time we went but oh god there were so many kids running around in there. It honestly took away from the vibe. With the kids and the chairs, we unfortunately could only do one drink here. Would love to check it out when it's more of an adults only time.

The Yelp reviews were mostly five stars, and it was touted to be a locals' favorite, so we decided to give it a try. We both chose the patty melt with a cup of vegetable soup. The soup sounded like an excellent choice on this cold cloudy day. The food, the service and the ambience were all wonderful. We finished off the meal sharing a slice of hot peach pie with vanilla bean ice cream. It was all fantastic.

Our group shared the following: popcorn chicken, stir-fried chicken gizzards, fried eggs with Spam, corn cheese, truffle French fries, seafood pancake, bossam (pork belly, shrimp paste, lettuce wrap), rose tteokbokki, steamed egg souffle with cheese, spam and kimchi fried rice, station noodles (beef broth, veggies), and strawberry bingsoo. My favorite of the night was the rose tteokbokki. The tteokbokki was perfectly chewy and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. The popcorn chicken was also good and paired well with the sauce it came with. The bossam was on the dry side and the seafood pancake was pretty standard. The fries were good but wouldn't pay $10 for a basket of fries if we came back next time. The corn cheese was also good but the plate was small. There was a call button at each table which was convenient. Food came out individually as it was ready instead of all at once which was to be expected for our party size.
