1st time here, one of my friends brought me here and I gotta say this place is great. Today I got a fill with bill and my toes done with fubu and I must say I was very satisfied with there job. Bill did an amazing job with my fill he even found the perfect color. I told him I wanted a nude color and he went ahead and made a nude color for me. Mixing 3 colors together to make a pearl look a like color. I thought that was pretty amazing. I mean I've gone to several nail salons and every time I ask for something natural they just tell me to get cappuccino. I am definitely coming back to this place. So it's been 4 years since my last review. This place has gone downhill. I was told the wait for a pedicure would be 20 min. I'm still sitting here. It's been 1.5 hours with no update. They don't really care much anymore. The service is lacking, the strongest nail techs have since moved on. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore. Shame, since it used to be a cool spot. read more

Had an awesome experience. First time customer and I'll definitely be back! I was there on a Monday around 1:30/2pm. Didn't have to wait. Got a full set of acrylics- Stiletto style (or almond shaped) for my engagement photo shoot tomorrow. With a design. The manicurist was thorough with extra care to get my nails perfect. This place is awful. I'm literally writing this review in front of their shop. It's always assumed that nail ladies talk crap about the customers but today was the first time that I actually experienced it. My wife is Vietnamese and went with me to get my nails done. I only wanted a quick gel pedicure because I'm going out for a bday party. While the lady got started I last minute added a get manicure. They asked if I wanted to add $5 to clip the skin off my nails, I said no. So in their language, THE OWNER said "does she not have money" and then laughed. My wife told me what they said and instantly I was very upset. The workers here are very disrespectful. I am quite sure that I make way more money than any of them there, and just because I didn't want a service doesn't mean I don't have any money. After my wife called them out, the owner made another comment in Vietnamese saying "are you crazy or what". It's so sad that people are like this. Especially when you haven't done anything to them. I didn't even want to come to this place because of their 3 star rating but decided to try it out anyway, but they proved their rating to be true. read more

First time coming here and I got a pedicure. It took an hour and a half. And she cut my toe. Pretty upset about it. I kept telling her to put alcohol on it and she kept on telling me she would later. Like no, now. And no one speaks full English so it was hard to communicate that. At the end she couldn't even get my sandals back on, I had to do it. It wouldn't usually be a problem but I'm pregnant so it's hard for me to bend right now. Won't be coming back. read more

I don't know how this place got so many good reviews, it took the nail tech two hours to give me a full set and there was nobody there. Cons: The shape isn't what I asked for, the nail polish was extremely thick and clumpy, she ripped off my nailbeds to the point where they were bleeding, she added three top coats because she kept messing up my nails when it wasn't dry, I asked for a matte finish and she didn't even cover the entire nail all the way so you can still see the glossy nail polish underneath, and for some reason she had a problem getting the acrylic nails to dry on my natural nail so she ended up getting glue all over my fingers, to dry the nails I had to sit in front of a fan for five minutes and then they told me that I was done and could leave because they were closing the store even though my nails weren't dry. I went with my sister and her experience wasn't any better than mine. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for about 5 years now and the only complaint I have is the waiting, which if you have to be somewhere by a certain time don't bank on being on time. It doesn't matter if you get there when they first open or you have an appt. I have sometimes had to walk out because it takes so long, however, I have never been disappointed with the mani nor pedi here and I've had different people numerous times. For my mani I love to go to Nancy, she is very patient and works just the same! I recommend them both! If you come here, expect to spend at least 2 hours for a mani pedi. The ladies here are very thorough but they take a really long time. I've been coming here for years but only come when I know I have the time to. Fubu is my favorite for pedicures. Color choice had improved and they recently did some remodeling. They don't have a price list on the walls anymore but Mani/pedi is 33$. They take a loooooong time but do a good job. I've only had one experience that didn't end so well but it was years ago. Parking is located in the alley behind so no need to park on Sepulveda at the meter. read more

The only salon that doesn't try to up-sell you a $5 extra foot massage. Aren't nail salons inspected by the Health Department? Are ratings posted? I went with a friend to have a manicure/pedicure. As we walked in a male manicurist looked up and stared at us like we were aliens. We asked if we could have our nails done and they told us to have a seat and wait. The place was a mess. I noticed one of the manicurists dropped a cuticle cutter and then put it back in the box to use on other customers. Yuk! There was nothing about this place that was pleasant or even clean. Never again. My nails look butchered as well. Such a disappointment for an establishment in my neighborhood. read more

Decent paint job, nice attitude. Place is small with only two spa chairs. I was very annoyed with my 930 pedicure starting at 955. The owner was very sweet and apologetic about traffic but I read reviews on here and spoke to customers who said you basically wait every day no matter what. I only booked here because it was the only joint in CC open at 930 vs 10 and I was in a huge rush. That being said my pedi was meh at best. I had to cut short a foot massage etc part because the cutting just took painstakingly forever. So slow. And my lower end pedi didn't even get me in an actual spa chair. It got me an uncomfortable office chair and a tub of lukewarm water on the floor. Won't be back. read more

LOVE the way they do my nails (I am SUPER picky and like my cuticles really cut down.) They did an amazing job with this. they also spend a lot of time on both hands and feet and I and the owner is a brow wax master. No "we will be with you soon" or "sorry the wait it going to be over an hour".. 3 people have came in after me and they have been seen. 1 of them had 12 pm appointment and was seen at 1130am. Why couldn't they help me first.? 2 people have walked in and they told them about the wait and to come back at 1. I bet I'll still be sitting here waiting. Is it because I'm too nice to complain. No licensed business should use tools that have been dipped in basically water used on hundreds of nail customers. There needs to be more attention paid to buying a simple Barbicide solution that costs less than $20 to keep customers health in mind. Plus when nail techs cut skin as has happened here to me before all the germs and bacteria not killed in this solution get straight into the body. My nail tech took his time, unlike the rushed job I got at a nail spa inside Culver City Westfield mall once, which I ended up paying almost double for. The only bad thing is that you can't leave a tip on a card, so bring cash to tip your nail tech. I'll definitely be going back! read more

Hands down best pedicures, the massage they give are top notch and they don't rush. Even though there are customers waiting, they dont rush you out of your chair to attend to the next, which I think is super important, every customer is valued. Jenny and Bill are great on the nails. I treated my Mother to get her nails done. She was treated to a French tip manicure. The lady was gentle and efficient and friendly. I give one star for the simple fact when I did get my nails done the 1st time the lady Jenny did a ok job. When I went back for a fill the lady who did my fill (found out later was the owner) did a horrible job. She only did my nail because I went in on a Monday and the Jenny chick was off. Well the other lady who did my fill cut me several times with the drill and her polish job was super sloppy. Now why I am writing a review today is simply because I will not be attending this nail shop again I rather pop all my nails off then to come back. I get there today at 940 and was told I wouldn't get my nails done until 1130.. really this place doesn't state appointments only so if that's not the case 1130 really. And the guy that told me seem to give two pennies if I stayed or not. Basically like oh well we have other customers . Just wasn't feeling the customer service. I had been a regular customer at this nail salon for years until I decided, enough is enough! Even after making appointments, they have you wait an hour or two! The guy Bill? A total JA who doesn't care about his customers, or their Ioyalty. Yes his employees do a great job but sanitize--they do NOT! There are way too many nail salon options out there, treat your returning customers with respect...and honor their appointments!!! BTW... Invest some of that money in upgrading your place.
