I have only ever had amazing experiences here. The service is always timely and they do quality work. I have had 2 nails in my tires (2 different times) and they fixed quickly even when I showed up and they had the garage filled with cars. Ryan was super helpful, kind and quick! Got an oil change here on another occasion and expressed how the place across the street kept forgetting a washer so oil would leak till I went back. The guy helping me here made sure to put my mind at ease when I picked up my car saying he definitely did the job correctly. I waited before writing this review because I wanted to think objectively about my experience, but the more I've thought about it, the more uneasy I feel about the service I received. I don't feel the charges were explained to me transparently. In particular, I was uncomfortable with how the tire warranty charge was presented, and I also don't feel the alignment and its additional cost were clearly communicated to me upfront. I originally came in with tire issues, and now I'm experiencing significant air loss again from one of my rear tires. This has left me questioning whether my original tire concerns were properly addressed and whether everything that was done to my vehicle was clearly explained to me. What made me even more concerned was hearing about my sister's experience at the same shop. She was told that she needed new tires, but when she went elsewhere for a second opinion, she was told her tire could still be repaired. I can't speak to the shop's intentions, and I don't want to make accusations I can't substantiate. I can only speak to my experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling that the process was not as transparent as it should have been, and after having time to reflect on it, I don't feel comfortable returning. I would recommend getting a second opinion and making sure every charge and recommended service is clearly explained before authorizing the work. read more

The customer service that I have experienced from the Brea location in the last couple of years has been nothing but top -tier level. I have suggested this location to my friends which they have gone and I also have suggested to my family , if you are in need of tire service or vehicle maintenance, stop by check in with them, or give them a call & see what they can do for you . Something to consider if you do have to wait for your services to be completed there is a very nice walking trail that is literally steps away from their location , and if you walk a little further we're talking maybe 50 yards you're able to take advantage of the Birch Street area and where there's Coffee shops, and several very different restaurants which are we all great. There's also a movie theater , the walk and vibe of the whole area is great. Special ordered my tires from them about a year back. Was very quick and best priced all over town. I just go to get my tires rotated every 7500 miles but each time it's very easy to setup an appt and they are efficient with the work. I took my truck in for an oil change on Thursday and was told I'd have to leave it so I made an appointment for Friday morning at 9am instead. When I went back at 9am I was told it would take 1-1/2 hrs, so I left the truck and was called 6 hrs later that it was ready. Why make an appointment if i still have wait 6 hrs? read more

I've sent a friend of mine there and they were also told "there's nothing we can do for you". They just don't like to work. Will never recommend this location again. Sadly I've had to come here twice in a week for the same tire 2 different incidents. Both of the times they have been very friendly and prompt to get working on my car. They have a large waiting area with plenty of seating for you to wait. They offer free flat tire repairs which is great! They offer warranty on tires that you buy there, I wanted to add it to a new car. I fixed a tire across the street earlier this year and they charged $50 for a job that was easier than what my tire had this time. The tech was surprised to have found a key that had gone through my tire! I guess someone in my complex is down a key. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars vs 5 is because the first time I went they gave me my car back with the tire fixed, but no air. My car told me to pull over right after I rolled it out. Thankfully I carry an electric air pump and I had to put air in my tire. Outside of that hiccup, they were great! read more

Had an amazing experience. I was on my way to work and got a flat first thing in the morning, I stopped in and they helped me immediately. They gave me their best recommendation as to if the tire would still be drivable and safe or if I needed a new one and they kept me in mind the whole time. I wanted to share this experience as a safety warning. I took my 1966 Ford Mustang to America's Tire Depot in Brea for one job: replacing all four tires. Shortly afterward, while preparing the car for a Route 66 trip, the rear of the car developed a loud clunking noise. Since I had recently serviced the rear differential, I believed that might have been the cause. Because my brother-in-law had a scheduled flight from Albuquerque and we were on a strict timeline, we decided not to take the Mustang on the trip. After returning home, I put the car on jack stands to inspect the differential. Before doing anything else, I removed the rear wheels and discovered that both rear wheels were loose enough that I could loosen the lug nuts by hand. One rear wheel was also missing a lug nut entirely. The wheel spacers showed fresh metal damage where the loose wheels had been moving against them (see photos). I had previously removed and reinstalled the front wheels myself while repacking the front wheel bearings, and those lug nuts were still properly tight. The rear wheels had not been removed by anyone after America's Tire Depot installed the new tires. In my opinion, failing to properly torque lug nuts is one of the most serious mistakes a tire shop can make because wheel installation is their primary responsibility. Had I continued driving, the outcome could have been much worse. I'm posting this so others will check their lug nut torque after having tires installed. If you use this shop, I strongly recommend verifying that your wheels have been properly torqued before leaving. read more

I ran over a nail and live all the way in Lakewood I was afraid for my tire to give out on freeway and called and talked to Fred he is the manager he is so sweet and instantly told me to come in so they can put a patch on for free. Abraham gave immediate and outstanding service soon as I pulled up he stopped what he was doing and asked what I needed help with. They made me feel welcomed and took care of everyone effectively and it was very busy! I called today and spoke with Orlando about an issue I was having with a leaking valve stem on my cars wheel. Explained to him the situation. The stem was leaking from the tpms. He said over the phone that they are able to repair the valve stem on my tpms. I brought my wheel in already off the car which I had already stated. Once at the store he came out to inspect my wheel. He proceeded to explain that there is no way to repair the valve stem and that we'd have to replace the whole tpms and sync it to the car. This totally contradicted what he had told me over the phone. Luckily I had already called around and knew this to be false. I went across the street to community wheel and tire. Not only were they able to repair the valve stem they did it while I waited and free of charge. DONT GET SCAMMED BY THIS PLACE!!!!! read more

TERRIBLE!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! THEY LIE AND THEIR TIRES ARE OLD (If you buy tires here, get the date they were made up front. They lie. It's written right on the tire. You can check before you purchase them. For your own safety and wallet check!) I was taken once by this location, so I was very hesitant to come back. (They sold me 3 year old tires, saying they were brand new, the first time around at a premium). Flash forward and I needed a tire patched due to a nail in it. The manager there told me my tire tread was so low they couldn't patch it and I needed 4 new tires. My tires are only 3 years old (well since I bought them). Only drove 36,000 miles on them, out of the 75,000 warranty. He tries to tell me that the warranty route would take a long time and I would just be back here getting the same times. Then offered me a, "deal," 4 "new tires," (we know they don't have new tires here) for $600. That's what I paid the first time around. Not sure how it's a deal. I leave because what the manager was saying seemed like a lie. Go to American tire and they use a machine to scan the tread, tell me my tires are not as bad as tire depot said. Also, they showed me the tread. Did the warranty route right then and there and patched my tire. All in 45 min. To the manager I spoke with, you really should be ashamed of yourself. You're taking advantage of people and not patching my tire was actually dangerous. read more

Had a nail in my rear back tire and after going to two other tire places that were uninterested, unresponsive and too busy to help, American Tire Depot pulled through. I had to wait at the front for awhile until I walked into the garage and asked for assistance but I eventually flagged someone. They were also busy but at least I was able to secure the first appointment for the next day. Next day, I checked in my car and they took care of my tire expediently. Coming to get your car done as always scary, there are people out there that will want to charge you and sell you something that you don't need just to secure More for the bottom line. Not here, I came in to repair flat tire and they did a check on other things and told me where I was at and what I should think about fixing right away. They gave me a quote total out the door, none of this this is what it can be will have to see blah blah blah. It was straightforward price plus labor plus parts plus a breakdown of everything that they would do. Service like this does not always happen at a car place.
