I love writing positive reviews but I took a long time to decide if I should put this review here. Firstly I want to say the atmosphere was beautiful and the hostess was really sweet. But that's as far as it goes unfortunately. When we checked in with the hostess for a high chair, then had to ask 3 ppl for a highchair to finally get one 12 mins to get kids water Brioche was really good with the butter Waiter (Ryan) came and talked a little bit about the menu then said would brb then didn't come back Mark (assistant to Ryan) had to come take our order after 13 mins, Ryan didn't come back. Shrimp and salad 19 mins after ordering. Shrimp batter really hard, not good. Batter tastes like chicken finger batter. Ryan came back to check at 36 mins. Exchanged tempera for lobster chowder. Mark came back cuz we were still waiting on beef tartar and mascato. He apologized cuz they were not put in. @8:50 when beef tar tar came. Ian came to check up on us. Vodka pasta - well balanced Mac n cheese - really cheesy Chowder is thick and salty with heavy bacon flavor. Tar tar - capers and egg pre-mixed in and the bread were hard as rocks, like croutons. Ordered Mac n cheese and vodka pasta took 19 mins to arrive when we ordered when we sat down. @9:02 Ryan came by to ask what to clear off table. Mark checked at @9:05. @9:09 steak and lamb came. Ryan came to check on us. Strip steak was tough and fibery. I couldn't even chew it. Told Ryan at 9:16 he apologized. Lamb - tough and dry. Used Demi glaze but it had a film on it. Best part is the warm tomatoes. @9:27 packed it all up. They offered dessert on the house but we were done. The experience and food was the worst we've ever had. Everything was phenomenal--an epic night from the wine to the food. It was an exquisite experience, and the bread selection to start really was a game-changer. The lobster chowder, crab cakes, and rock shrimp were absolute flavor bombs. The yellowtail was spectacular, offering a beautiful citrus profile that paired perfectly with the delicate hamachi. As for the mains, my Provimi veal chop with the lobster tails was exactly what I needed, and my wife's featured steak for the evening--the Snake River Farms American Wagyu Gold Label NY strip--was just as good and perfectly cooked. The silky potato purée and corn side were the perfect pairings. We finished the evening with the fried Oreos, crème brûlée, and what I believe was their butter cake, all accompanied by a beautiful, vibrant Cabernet Franc ice wine. Our server, Tristan, was great, as was the rest of the staff. Robert, the general manager, also stopped by to introduce himself, which was a wonderful touch of hospitality. In response to your message Stations, this time an allergy was not taken seriously. This very easily could have been our favorite place to eat at just like my good friend Charlie who was a regular there for a long time before he passed. This was a serious violation of my trust by your staff and one that I don't take lightly as it could have put me in the hospital. I thank you for sharing this with your staff as allergies are a serious concern of people who sadly have to deal with this in our lifestyle. It is possible I will give you all another chance as the food is really top quality, the service was amazing and the ambiance, are all reasons this was at the top of Charlie's list of places to eat and not many were recommended by him. Note: there was only one time that I was disappointed with the service from the waitress and bread/beverage server. It was on our 10th anniversary. Our order has been mostly the same...ribeye and cream corn, king crab (down graded from 1 lb to 1/2 lb) sometime with baked potato or tater tots or I'll forgo the side go with the Lobster chowder. The ribeye is received as ordered (medium rare charred). It's delicious, soft and still tastes good the next day for breakfast. The king crab is delicious and not salty. I miss my favorite white chocolate and cranberry with wheat germ sprinkles bread but my new favorite is the Blue Cheese Brioche although I normally don't like blue cheese and I'm not a cheese eater. It is buttery and soft. The raspberry sorbet was good. Sweet with a touch of tartness. The Watermelon sorbet was also good but too sweet for me. The sorbet was light and refreshing after the meal. In the good weather, the outdoor experience for their Happy Hour is one of the best in town! We ordered one appetizer off of the regular menu and two from the happy hour menu. The tuna tacos, that have been on the Happy Hour menu for quite a few years, are still very good and I enjoyed every bite. Also from the Happy Hour menu, we ordered the cauliflower bites... Sauce on the side. They are fried, but breaded and not batter dipped, so they remain very light. Our server was very prompt, friendly and checked on us often. He answered questions we had, never made us feel rushed or anxious, and was friendly and attentive throughout our whole experience. We also enjoyed the steakhouse salad, crab cakes and a few different bread options which were offered a couple of times. I had an amazing experience at T-Bones. Despite having visited Red Rock dozens of times for other restaurants, I'd never noticed T-Bones tucked in the back across from Lotus of Siam. The wait staff was so kind and accommodating. The restaurant was gorgeous. Definitely a place for date night or just grabbing a bite and a drink after work. The food was great. The service is nice and friendly, and the atmosphere is upscale with price to match. Happy hour is a great way to try this place out, they have drinks and small bites to try out. The happy hour food portions are small, perfect if you want to snack while having drinks. The spirit menu prices are from what I was told are for drinks only if your like me and rather have my spirits near it will be at a higher price than what the menu shows. I ordered a Whiskey neat that was $13 on the menu but was charged $18 on the bill, and I was told it was because the spirit menu prices are for drink not neat pours. I get that you may get more than the 1.5 ounce spirit for a neat pour like a 2oz but that should be told or identified on the menu. read more

This has been here for awhile and it was a big birthday for me...so I decided to choose something extraordinary for the occasion. It did not disappoint! Arrived at 5 pm and they took us to a nice booth and wished me a happy birthday since hub put that on the reservation. We decided to split a half bottle of Rose...it was very nice. Someone came with a bread selection and we both chose 2 out of the 5 offerings, a sour dough and a lavosh....it had a spicy kick to it and was amazing as was the butter served along side. Hub and I both ordered the 8 oz filet, and we split a baked potato. They brought all the toppings on the side and by request, they gave us 3 steak sauces to go with the steak. The one in the middle is their house steak sauce and my favorite, however the meat was so good it needed no help. The food was absolutely perfect and delicious. Our wait staff was amazing...at the end we got a birthday creme brûlée that finished off the meal beautifully. The restaurant inside is beautiful and they had a live pianist playing on a Sunday the night we were there... It was a beautiful evening and we decided to dine outside - just be aware that we could smell cigarette smoke from some folks sitting at the nearby pool - otherwise it was a perfect setting. We were brought a complimentary bread basket with at least 6 or 7 different types of breads, plus butter. I ordered the French onion soup and the Rigatoni Ala Vodka which were both delicious. Other folks in our party ordered the petite filet mignon, the bone-in rib eye, the burger/fries, Caesar salad, and the salmon as entrees. To start we had the crab cakes and the lobster chowder. Both were good but the chowder was missing some crunch which they didn't have crackers. The crab cakes weee good as well. For the entre we had the Rigatoni ala vodka and the wagyu filet mignon with a baked potato as the side. The steak and pasta were both cooked perfectly. Easter brunch was absolutely amazing! This visit the service was superb. So much food you didn't know what to select next! A huge seafood buffet, caviar, devilled eggs, waffle station omelet station and a long line up of hot foods. Then - there were the desserts! So very many of them! Top your own cinnamon rolls, little tapioca puddings in eggshells, croissant cones - I wished I would have started with the desserts as I was so full by the time I got to them. Or family took our mother to T-bones for Mother's Day dinner while staying at the hotel. They served us cheap, reheated prime rib that was way over cooked. I believe they were reheating food left over from their mother's day brunch buffet. One of them was so bad it was like eating reheated roast beef. We sent the worst one back and made do with what we had. Even the filet was bad. The rest of the casino restaurants were just as bad. We will not be returning to T-bones, or the red rock hotel. Even the Puréed Potatoes were on point. T-Bones seasons their steaks "just right" and last night with the American Wagyu had people raving about the incredibly tender, juicy, delicious steak! Portions at T-Bones are always generous, so we all took home "doggie bags" which our dogs will not get to taste! Symmetry was the red wine we chose and it was an excellent accompaniment to the wonderful dinner. Priced at under $100 per bottle, it was a wonderful flavour to enjoy with our meal. The wine was recommended by their Sommelier... Mike. Desert with a Birthday Sing-along... Carrot Cake -- Very, Very Large and a perfect way to celebrate my wonderful husband's Birthday. We went in for happy hour last Thursday and were told that they wouldn't have happy hour because of the concert in the pool area. Happy hour is 4 to 6 and the concert was at 8. How do those overlap. Vegas gouging at its best. We did however try again today only to find out that it is just as disappointing an experience as unexpected for a resort like Red Rocks. The first bartender was snobby with us and overly friendly with others sitting next to us. We ordered almost everything on the happy hour menu except the cauliflower. So, to start, we ordered the fresh lobster tails. They were ok, but we took off half the bread because it had little meat for thick Texas toast style bread. Next, the chef selection sliders, what is there to select, meat patty or no meat patty, unreal. We asked for onions on the side, but apparently the bartender really hates us because that was ignored. After picking off the onions, discovered that they were dry and overcooked. We tried the Wagyu Philly, again requesting the grilled onions and peppers on the side. They came out and only the onions were on the side, no cheese, and peppers in the sandwich. And to our surprise, the onions on the side were not grilled, actually they felt like they had just been pulled from the freezer. We told the second bartender, who was night and day different than the mean girl one. She was nice and took the Philly sandwich away to have them remake it. When it came back out, there was cheese on it, the onions and peppers on the side and warm, but somehow the amount of meat shrank and was half of what was on the original sandwich. The chef must have been upset that it was sent back. The only item we ordered that we liked was the Ahi Tuna Tacos. These were great. I do not believe we will be back, there are far more places with better food and better deals and nicer people. read more

My husband and I made reservations online for 5:45P for Father's Day. We don't usually travel to Summerlin, but hubby wanted to go to Red Rock. Restaurant is very upscale and impressive with cute young hostesses wearing uniform minidress. The waitstaff are dressed in dark suits, or dress shirt and slacks, high class! The ambiance is amazing, however service is slow. What should have been a one hour meal was stretched to two hours due to waiting for each course to waiting for the bill. We ordered the Father's Day menu and I found the bacon appetizer not to my liking, however, the steak entree was delicious , too much food for my husband and myself so we had a meals to take home.
