I'd never been to this place, nor heard of it, but I had a lunch meeting here, and now I want a weekly meeting here. From the outside and it being in a strip mall, you would think that it's a small Mom and Pop type place. Once you walk in however, it's really classy. The staff has amazing customer service, and they are very knowledgeable about the menu. Now let's get into this food. The menu had so many good choices that I did not know what to choose. Someone at the table recommended the lobster ravioli, and let me tell you, it was so good. I could've slurped the juice off the plate . The food here is excellent. We each got the Salmon Piccata and then we shared a Ceasar Salad. The salad was excellent and a perfect sharing size. The Salmon was cooked to perfection! BF enjoyed his side of veggies and I love my side of angel hair pasta with only olive oil and garlic Bf also loved their cheesecake dessert. The service is top notch!!!! They are always right there if need anything and they check on you often - they all have such a wonderful attitude it's truly a pleasure dining here. We'll definitely be back soon. I went in on a Sunday around 5:30 PM and got seated right away. I still recommend booking a table if you aren't an early diner because by 6:30 there were a lot of people coming in. Goes to show how loyal their patrons are. It has definitely got an excellent reputation in terms of service, food, and ambiance. The bread was served fresh and hot from the oven and it was delicious! Ambiance was nice and servers were very friendly. The bread was amazing with the oil and vinegar. Although the service was slow, staff kept us informed of the progress. The food was so flavorful. Crab cakes are very thick and meaty with not alot of filler which is nice.. all crab no filler. The calamari was fried perfectly. Do yourself a favor and order the lobster ravioli. The cream sauce had so much flavor to it. The top it with shaved parmessan cheese and they aren't skimpy with the lobster. The chicken parm was flattened out but very tender. Great food and service. The four of us had fish dishes: one salmon, and three mixed seafood. We had white sauce, red sauce and vodka sauce. $120 on a takeout order for 2 people We ordered veal Marsala, cioppino soup and bread and tipped $10 on a togo order. Food took forever. All to get home to super dry and tough veal, with no sauce! All because they couldn't part the veal from the pasta and toss it into one container. Come on! We paid for good money for this! And you can't spare to separate the food in separate containers! There was absolutely ZERO Marsala sauce for my veal and those CANNED mushrooms. All because the noodles soaked up whatever sauce there was. The veal was disgusting, threw it away. The cioppino or however you spell it had a frozen medley of seafood. Rubbery calamari rings, a couple tiny clams and a broth that was flavorless. The bread was the only good part of this meal for 2 Super disappointing! And my bf felt bad because I wanted to go to a different Italian spot and he said let's just get it to go to try it. Soooo good, one of the few very exquisite restaurants in the Summerlin area deserving of a full 5 stars! From the courteous greeting to the prompt seating to excellent service from Brandon making sure we had a great experience, it's a wonderful quaint seafood-Italian restaurant that has an amazing drink and food menu. I got the Limonata Spritz which is a favourite but they made it so refreshing I had to get a second! Also got the seafood combo linguini and they gave me an extra bowl for the shells and shrimp tails and that was a nice touch for sure. Will definitely be back since I live down the street but if you're in the area looking for a fancy place that treats you like a VIP guest PLEASE give this place a try, no reservation needed but it does get a little busy as it's just that good!! I also left my wallet behind outside on their bench and didn't realize until 10-15 minutes later which I called and they made sure to retrieve it for me, they were so kind about it. The food was just decent for a fancy expensive restaurant and was located in a cheap looking strip mall type building. The front hostess who said her name was Justice messed up my reservation and had to wait longer than expected. She was rude about it when I complained. I think she gave my table to another patron. I wanted to love this place since it's in my neighborhood and within walking distance, but unfortunately, the food just didn't live up to expectations. On the positive side, the service was excellent -- our waters were constantly refilled, and the staff was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The atmosphere was lively and busy for a random Wednesday, which was fun. However, the food just wasn't it for me. If you want a rustic homemade Italian dish then this is your spot. Visiting for my friend's birthday, this was our first time here. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and seated immediately. While the restaurant is a good size, it is not enormous so it has a very homey feel. Immediately our waiter filled our glasses with water, we were given warm Italian bread with a side of Olive oil with a mix of Balsamic vinegar. Everything on the menu was something I wanted to order . I went with Penny with a vodka sauce with Shrimp and scallops. My hubby is a huge lasagne fan which was not on the menu but they went above and beyond and made it for him special. Their kitchen is an open concept so it's nice to see the food being made and the smell is all the more relevant in the dining area. We were excited to have the Golden Knight game playing especially that they are in the finals . The atmosphere was so exciting. Our food came out in a timely manner and OMG. When you have a good sauce for your pasta and your pasta fish or meats are cooked correctly then you have a good restaurant and that's what Mastrioni's is. We all enjoyed our food . So I were to do a quick glance rating of everything, service 5 , ambiance 4, bread service 3, non alcoholic drink options 3, garlic bread 4, clam chowder 5, crab salad 4, bruschetta sea bass 3, risotto side upgrade 2, creme brule 4. Price for what you get 3. Now for the all the little details that got me to these numbers. My friend wanted to have his birthday dinner here after seeing something that got him excited on Instagram. I was not super hopeful based on what I saw looking up their menu and images of the dishes they had. However, he stood firm that this was the place to go. Its located in a quiet parking lot in the summerline area. As we approached the restaurant a herd of teenagers were making their way to the restaurant. Im assuming for some type of pre dance dinner. I was like how are we all going to fit in this place?! Then after they were seated we didnt even see them anymore. The place has a very large amount of seating available, and by the time we were in the middle of our dinner it was almost all full. Such a popular place it must be amazing, right? I feel like this place hits something nostalgic in people, and speaks to the americanized italian palatte that still wants to feel fancy, and not just go to olive garden. The waiters were super attentive. A drink glass was never empty, and they made sure to check on us often. This is super impressive considering how busy they were. They have a fun list of cocktails, but no mocktail list. I feel if you are a high end spot these days something beyond a shirly temple or Arnold Palmer should be on the menu. The bread on the table was nothing addictive, but it paired well with the food, especially the clam chowder. The clam chowder was great, not to thick or fishy, but loaded with clams. The bread you should get is some garlic bread, nice flavor for sure. Although 15 dollars is a little wild to me for some bread. We got the crab salad and it was presented nicely. Avocado, lettuce, tomato, crab, amd cucumber. The tomatoes were actually really good, not bland and watery like many places. The sauce gave me thousand island vibes without the relish. It all went together well but missed an extra x factor to make that 40 dollar salad sing. The bruschetta sea bass was missing a componenet to create a well rounded flavor. I hoped the side of risotto we upgraded to would create that. However the risotto was so bland and undercooked. I was breaking up the uncooked center of grains in my mouth. I took it home so I could fix it. Our friends girlfriend had got a side of penne woth red sauce and we had to exchange it out because when you chewed it, it turned into paste it was weird. They gave her linguine with a butter garlic sauce that tasted much better. Creme brule had great flavor although the custard was a bit curdled and not as smooth and creamy as it should be, the sugar top also not the perfect glass like top that makes that fun Crack. Berries on top were lovely and sweet. Overall the waiters were amazing and there were some high points in the meal, but I feel for the price point I should be doing my happy food dance. There was no dancing. Our friend who insisted on going there didnt even seem like the food made him that excited. The space is nice but we were sat so close to the entrance and there was a loud speaker so also hearing each other was a bit of a challenge. I just feel that there are other italian restaurants in this price point that have food I much rather eat. One in particular is within about a mile or two of this place. It seems to be a hot spot in the area and fill a niche for people though so thats awesome for them. I just don't see myself going there on my own volition. read more

Our first time there, we've had friends tell us about it. It was a Tuesday evening, quiet, clean, and very nice. We ordered the pasta and shrimp, and halibut. Both excellent, fresh, cooked perfectly. We decided to try this place for my birthday today 40 minute drive for us but the place was nice. Ambience was beautiful my wife ordered the lobster ravioli and it was rich but good. I had spaghetti and meatballs, and I change the spaghetti to angel hair and meatballs were better than usual. Add a little bit different flavor to them. They were good definitely large I could not eat more than a half. And we ordered a salad and we split it and it was a good size so it was just enough for both of us. The only negative I have five dollars for us. Glass of soda is two dollars too much. If it cost you $.50 you should be more than happy with a 600% mark up. I was impressed with the staffs' attentiveness; courtesy, and friendly disposition (server; expeditor; hostess, and water personnel) We had a party of nine to celebrate my toddler's birthday. We had three appetizers to share, which were Caprese; calamari, and clams in shallot white wine broth. All of the apps were fresh & delicious. For mains, we had spaghetti & meatballs; chicken Parmesan; clams & linguine, and fettuccine Alfredo. All of our guests enjoyed their entrees. My whole family ate here last night. My grandparents been telling me they go here every year for there anniversary and its one of their favorite places to go eat and I see why. I'm going with a solid four stars. A hidden gem in an unassuming strip mall, use Google maps or you just might miss it. My family found this place and it was a must visit for them while I was in town. I thought it was just right. I loved the open kitchen concept. The place was oozing with class. I ordered the veal parmigiana which was cut a bit thin, a little overcooked and tough unfortunately. The rest of the meals were fantastic. I would say the star of the show was the meatballs. Huge, flavorful and tender. The leftovers made for an awesome meatball sandwich the next day. Overall, our waiter was awesome, the drinks were stiff, and the atmosphere was great. Very nice inside! Much bigger than you would think driving by. I got a gift card, so decided to make a visit. The staff was friendly, but our server didn't really know the specifics of some things on the menu. I didn't like their steak options, there are only a couple and no price listed on the menu. My husband asked the server and he was I'm not totally sure, I think it's 72.00. Pretty excessive price on the steak when the rest of the menu is reasonable. My favorite thing that I ordered was the Caesar salad, it had a touch of horseradish in it which was wonderful. We asked our server about it and he wasn't sure. The staff should know the menu to assist customer, maybe he was new? Not sure. Overall, food was good and cool looking place, but not sure if we will return with all the other options. read more

This is my second and last time going there. So many people said it was great, so we decided to give it a second chance. We had the same experience this time as we did the first time. Priced like the strip, but service, food quality, and ambiance are NOT worth the price. Service staff do not know how to wait tables. On a six-top, the mains and sides arrived at different times. Sides were cold, and my main, the (Osso Buco), was not cooked evenly - fat not rendered on one side of the bone, the other side was overdone and dry. In addition, the linguine tasted like it was out of a box, broken into small strips, with the sauce dried on the plate, as if it had been microwaved too long. Not worth the $60 charge. A glass of the house Chaniti (which was not great) cost $19. Dinner for 6 with tip was over $700. Less than a quarter of the tables had customers. Even with that, servers were slow and did not even ask if everything was okay. This restaurant has had great reviews, but it is well beyond over-the-hill. I do think that even Gordon Ramsey could save this place. read more

Drew was our server, and he was great. I didn't catch the other person's name who was helping Drew, but he was so attentive that none of our glasses were ever more than half empty--he refilled them right away and was super nice. Mastrioni's might be Italian for masters of Italian food. One of my favorite Italian spots in Las Vegas. The vodka pasta is my go-to. Mastrioni's offers solid Italian good with very attentive service. We ordered several appetizers- Summerlin Salad, Caesar salad, roasted garlic, and the Antipasti plate. The best of these was surprisingly the roasted garlic. The antipasti plate is good, but we missed having prosciutto on it. Salads were both solid. For entrees, we had the chicken Alfredo pasta and the pasta with sausage and peppers. The portions are massive! If you're not famished, you might consider sharing your main dish. Flavors were all very good. Note that they have gluten free pasta upon request. It is not indicated on their menu. read more

The food was good, I had some scallops and linguini which had very good flavor. The bad was that I felt gauged when I saw the $60 price tag for scallops and pasta. The waiter said it was a special and didn't share the price. The wine was served in very small portions, and always makes a me feel like the restaurant is more focused on profits when I see small wine pores like that. Pore me a solid 6 ounces not 5! The ambiance was nice but felt a little rushed by the waiter. The portions were large and the salad was just too big. I Feel like they could charge less for the salad and serve a more reasonable portion. At the end of the day food was expensive and it costs me over $150 for a couple of glasses of wine/pasta and a salad (for one person!) at a neighborhood restaurant??! Will not visit very often. My last two visits it was too loud to the point of distracting, the service is meh, and it's expensive. $30 for a shot of McCallan 12 is just an insult. We were confused about what time they closed (online says 10pm, on door it says 9pm) we arrived at 8:30 and Pete sat us himself. We were quickly greeted with water and bread. I had a chocolate martini, best chocolate martini i've ever had. I had the linguini scampi (shrimp scampi equivalent) it was so so good. Fresh shrimp, light but very tasty sauce. My bf had the fettuccine alfredo, tasted like a sophisticated mac and cheese, it was so delicious and also pretty light for it being a thick sauce/pasta.
