THEN, even though we didn't need it, we shared the CRUISER LINGUINI (linguini with clams, bacon, white wine sauce, tomatoes, leeks) seriously totally to die for. We counted at least 30 little neck clams. We could have rolled out the door by now, but nooo... we had to have dessert. We chose the Crème Brûlée Trio. The selections are seasonal. The servers were fantastic, and especially our server, Haley, who took care of all of our needs. She kept our water glasses full, kept checking on us and took care of all of our dinner needs. We then ordered our meal and my mother had the Cedar Plank Salmon and I had the Blvd seafood sampler with Redfish, shrimp and scallops and both of our meals were outstanding. The seafood chowder, even just a cup was huge with tons of seafood, so much so I was wondering if I'd be able to eat my meal. It was filling but I devoured the seafood and found that I love Redfish! Yvonne came over mid meal to check on us. I presume she was a manager. There was no need for gravy because of the natural juices. The taste was just like my mom's (50 years ago). The roast beef is now very different. Twice now: --the roast beef was sliced and held its shape when placed on my plate--no longer tenderly falling apart. The roast is tough. --the roast beef was very, very dry, no longer juicy, no longer having natural juices. --The taste was bland--no longer perfect. The meat is very lean and apparently not roasted with any fat cuts of roast beef meat. In addition, the larger cut pieces of red potatoes were very hard--not done. To Golden Corral, please bring back the roast beef that so many of us have long enjoyed.

In many restaurants, when an order is incorrect and a customer has to wait while everyone else at the table is already eating, the staff will try to accommodate the inconvenience in some way. Instead, when my food finally came back, the shrimp was cold. At that point, I didn't complain again--I just ate a few bites. Afterward, we waited another 20-30 minutes for our check. When the waiter brought the card reader so I could pay, my daughter accidentally dropped one of her AirPods. While I was trying to help her pick it up and tap my card to pay, the waiter said, "Ma'am, please be careful with the machine. If anything happens to it, I have to replace it." I found that comment unnecessary and unprofessional, especially since I was simply helping my daughter while paying. Overall, the experience did not live up to the recommendations I received.
