So I went to American Tires in January 2022 ended up buying 2 new front tires with warranty which they sold me Yokohama and fixed a flat in the rear passenger. Now I have not been to a tire shop since January when I came to American Tire. Today September I returned to get one of those tires fixed and they did NOT put Yokohama tires on my car NOW THEY can't find my information for the tires they sold me in their system. However after all that they ended up helping me get my tire fixed don't wanna say on the house but I will say at a really great price. I love America's tires and I've been buying tires from these guys since 2009 since I moved to L.A. They have the great and honest pricing all the time and whenever there's an issue with nail or something... no run around I tell you. Normally I love dealing with the mom and pops to give them a chance, but nothing can beat the customer service these guys give you. Thanks to Freddy for helping me out with our Michelin Energy Saver for our Prius and hopefully I like it (so far I am having a little doubt on the traction/control of these low resistance tires, but we'll see). Love this place. Always repairs my tires for free whenever I have a flat due to a nail or some sharp object. Caveat is If they cannot repair the tires due to where the puncture is located you would have to buy the tire because they wont repair it. I don't mind paying for a tire because the amount of free repairs I had here was worth it. Great service! read more

I am really disappointed in American Tire up until today I thought they were great . I drive a 2017 Land Rover discovery and I am having to replace 4 tires that have only 23,000 miles on them. Apparently there is no mileage warranty on the tires I purchased for 313.00 a tire when there were tires that were 213.00 with 70,000 warranty. Why would they sale those tires with no mileage warranty. I assumed all tires had mileage warranty. I feel like was bamboozled. They offered me no to make this right on the purchase of new tires. American Tire offers the services I need. My tire light went on. Nothing seemed wrong visually, but I made an appointment and brought my car in. They checked the tire pressure. The light went off. A few weeks later my tire light went on again. I had more time so they did a flat tire inspection, found a nail in one of the tires and repaired the tire. The workers at this particular American Tire are extremely courteous, friendly and they know what they are doing. I am a happy customer. read more

So I went online 3/3 to buy new tires and scheduled an appointment for 3/6. I received a call 3/4 that my tires are ready. I was able to just walk in 3/4, instead of coming in on 3/6. I let the employees know I also needed a new set of wheel locks. Then I was given an ETA about an 1 hour. They were pretty quick at getting my car in and out in less than an hour, maybe waited about 45-50 minutes. And they were busy but were very efficient. Americas tires is my go to. I've never had issues with them. I would definitely still come back to this location. I use to go to americas tire when I used to live in the Bay and I trust them. Also a quick tip, don't plan anything too close or day of your tire appointment just in case they take longer or have more issues with your car. All and all , they're awesome. read more

I came in for a tire rotation and wheel bal. And after an hour of waiting and seeing people coming in and being help in front of me, I was told that i need more than requested.(new tires and wheel alignment) i ask to cancell the work order and ask to get a refund because i was already charged at arrival. I called days later and gave me the run around. And finally showed up and ask for refund and said they have to call corporate and ask for permission to give my money back for services that did not recieved. I was told that i will be receiving a call 4 days at the most for the approval of refund. They said they will investigate what really happen and needs corporate for approval. I'm truly happy about the experience I had with America's Tires in Carson. I brought my car in to have the tires rotated and balanced (per set appointment). The representative was courteous and professional. I asked how long and they said 30-45 mins and if I was going to wait or should they call me. Well, I brought my iPad to keep my company so I decided to wait. Sure enough, my car was ready within 30 min after drop-off. My car runs great! It's always this way when I come to this store. This is how they treat seniors. I paid more than $400 on tires that turned out to be the WRONG tires for my car on their recommendation. 4 years or 40,000 miles was the warranty, less than two years later the tires were Bald. I was charged an additional $100.00 plus for this. When asked the manager told me that if I didn't have the additional money then I would have been SOL. They are still the wrong tires for my car as they ride like they need air all the time. I can feel every dip in the road but cannot overinflate the tires or that will damage them. read more

This location works very quickly. So even though there is a line of customers, you won't wait in line for long. I needed to have a minor repair done on my tire and they told me it eoukd he done in 35 minutes. So I went across the street to do some shopping at Target and the car was ready for pick up within 35 minutes. Best part is they don't charge for minor tire repairs. It was FREE. read more

I selected this business based on the reviews and ordered 4 tires for my car and made an online appointment. Two days to my appointment I received a phone call that your tires will be delayed and I accepted it. On the day of my appointment I was bombarded with text messages that I need to either accept or cancel the appointment which they already asked me to delay. I called them and they put me on a half an hour hold to talk to a gentleman. By that time I was in their location and he came and apologized and said it will be here in two days and how sorry he is and he will take care of me so I don't wait in line next time. He called me two more times to say that tires are not there and they picked an alternative which got delayed as well. I Ubered to work twice as one of my tires was in a very bad shape. Junior and Sergio were the two staffs who tried their best to help me, but their system as a business was awful. So, while I give the two gentleman a thumbs up, I should say that I will never go back to that mess. I came there for the third time and they said they just had two of four tires I waited for them to change two of them. So, I came back the next week for the fourth time to change the second tire. And now I'm dealing with their manager. I wanted to skip this bad review out of respect for the employees who at least tried to help but again they have made me wait in their shop and I thought this is what they are asking for it. I had a nail in my tire and i was super worried about my wheel getting damaged as it has happened before so i decided to make an appointment with Americas Tires. I left happy, the guy that was in training was really nice as well as his teacher? idk lol but they made conversation, didnt make you feel dumb. Free inspection on the tires, they let me know where my tread level was at. Free patch for the tire as well and best of all no damage to my wheel. phewww. Also everything was done in less than an hour. Only thing i did buy was windshield wipers. $19 each for me. read more

Extremely poor service & irresponsible staff who could not locate my key fob adding to already delayed service delivery. Having a tow truck take you to another location is worth the AAA mileage. Will be calling corporate in the morning. Would not recommend, you will be unsatisfied with incorrect wait time information and poor customer service. Service is Great! They always have multiple price-range options for wheels; they have always been honest with me about the differences. They have fixed one of my rims, and they nearly ALWAY cover my flat tires due to my tires being insured. Also, rotations are always free so my tires wear out evenly.. I like how they text me when my car is ready. One of my friends once had an issue with their work, and they apologized for their mistake. The manager did not lie or try to hide the truth.. he took full responsibility, gave cash back for my friend's time, prioritized the car work and called ALL working employees to discuss the incident. He was FURIOUS with his staff for their mistake. Although my friend was in disbelief of their mistake at 1st, my friend really appreciate the immediate action of the manager and employees. Location hasn't been the same since Arnel (previous manager) left. You know the type of operation they run based on the energy that's felt when you walk in. Customer service -- HORRIBLE. A bunch of younger guys working here now with 0 to little experience or background in tires & CARS. Came in just to patch up a nail that was caught in my tire. (Normally ON THE HOUSE) but they messed up my tire even more but tearing the frame when removing the tire from my rim. Then try to blame the "manufacture" where I normally received my tire from. Walked out with my nail still in my tire & gratefully knowing I still had a warranty in my tires from another shop I went to. So in other words, If you don't know your stuff, don't come here alone.
