Went in to have my tires checked after buying them at the Dublin store. Employee wouldn't do it because I wanted less that what BMW RECCOMENDS on the door placqard. It's not a law, it's what they RECCOMEND. They wouldn't even check them, let alone put air in them. Talked to store manager Paul who wouldn't help stating safety. which is BS. Lots of things go into consideration for manufacturers determinging reccomended pressure, like fuel economy or ride comfort. I'm going back to Dublin where they aired them up to where I wanted them. These guys are great! Made an online appt in the AM. I showed up at 3:05, that's 5 min late. They patched up 2 tires (one with 2 nails). I was driving out of the lot at 3:50. Across the street at Costco, ya can't even get someone to start tinkering with your tires in that amount of time! And... after getting home I checked tire pressure on the 2 repaired tires - inflated spot on. So was lug torque. read more

Found a nail on one of my tires while giving my ride a wash. That nearly just ruined my plans for the day. I could have gone to any shop for the repair, but since I originally bought my tires from them I thought I'd return. It was also that chance I would need replacements. Checked in and they gave me an estimated wait of an hour and a half. They kept their promise and was on time. Walked to the nearest coffee shop and when I got back I waited for 10 minutes and they were done. The best part of all, I didn't have to pay anything. Puncture repairs are covered. America's tire company has to be the best because I've never experienced this elsewhere. They won me as a customer for life. The Concord shop run a tight ship! First of all, this is hands down the most efficient America's Tire store. When I say efficient I mean: They take you on time, if not earlier, when you have an appointment. They communicate with you immediately about what they found, when the work will be completed, and if there is anything else they can do to keep you coming back to their store. I went to a popular tire place in Alameda and pretty much got screwed out of time and money. I came here, and was impressed. They removed, mounted and road force balanced a 35" tire in less than 15 minutes. The last tire place I went to it took them 4.5 hours for 4 tires, and one was unable to be balanced properly, which they never told me about until I was driving and figured something wasn't right. These guys also charge less than the competitors. Mark and the staff here are good guys that focus on customer service. They may not be perfect, but they strive for it. read more

As a woman, I never felt it easy to deal with car repair or tire change except when it is Costco. But my first impression of America's tire was already good, from the phone call to the front office. People waiting in line were keeping social distance. The staff was apologetic about the wait, assured me that someone will be with me shortly, even though the wait wasn't that long and I did not complain about it. Paul was friendly and patient. He explained options very clear. The tire was changed under my eyes. Within 25 minutes, I was on my way to work. I was thoroughly impressed by their teamwork. It is a well-run, and well-managed shop. Everyone works like an army, orderly and efficient. Everyone was courteous and professional. The entire office, the work area, even the bathroom were super clean. A truly 6-star experience! Came here for a set of michelin PS4S was about 1400$, wait was longer then usual since they were stacked. Service was still pretty accommodating. Had a 10:30 they were able to check me in around 11ish. Out of there around 12ish. I'd probably go to a different shop now since they scratched the paint on my rims. I took before and after photos since that is a common thing when on the mount if not done carefully. My fault for not doing a more thorough inspection. read more

Had an appointment and they prioritized my car which was nice. Got what I needed done within an hour or two so that's good. The bad is that they were just putting on new tires and they scratched two out of my four wheels. Im assuming with whatever tool they use to remove/install the tire to the wheel. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, it's just very disappointing to have my wheels with deep scratches and gouges now when they were untouched before. Also, I'm not a car guy, but whatever substance they put on the tire/wheel when installing, maybe a lubricant of some kind, they left on the wheels too. I didn't take a star for that because it wiped right off but I didn't know if it would leave some kind of permanent mark if left to dry on there. read more

This review is long overdue! When I had my last car, I replaced all of my tires through America's Tire and I was always impressed by the great service that I received at the Concord, CA location. This year I've had two tire issues with my new car, and this America's Tire location has been incredibly helpful. The first instance involved a hard object getting stuck in one of my tires and slowly deflating it. Instead of taking advantage of me and trying to sell me new tires, they plugged my tire for free and I haven't had any issues since. I visited this location recently because I accidentally took a chunk of my tire off when I hit a curb. The employee who evaluated my tire told me that it was still drivable and I even got air put into all of my tires for free! I appreciate the staff at America's Tire in Concord for always being honest, genuine, and helpful. Eventually I will need new tires, and the America's Tire in Concord will be the first place that I go to buy them. read more

they should teach a customer service course in how this location treats the people that walk through the door. i have a brand new BMW with fancy noise dampening tires that are lined with special foam. this means that when you drive over a screw that BMW won't repair the tire--they'll only replace it. it seems absolutely ridiculous to spend $670 on ONE tire when they had less than 200 miles on the whole car. read amazing reviews from america's tire so took the vehicle there and told them the story AND they repaired my car for FREE. i didn't ask for this but they went ahead and did this. I received very rude service today and will not be back. I had made a reservation on their website for "free rotation & rebalance." I showed on time and the parking lot was a zoo. I waited to be served. Finally my turn came up and I informed the agent why I was here. He looked up my car and said he didn't show I purchased my tires there. Yeah I purchased them from Tesla, who made the whole car and they hadn't been replaced yet. He said did you know there's a $60 charge because they had had people "taking advantage" of that being free. Hmmm did they want people not to use their advertised free tire rotation? He said they notified people last year and it took effect this year. Anyway, every set of tires I had purchased for my prior cars were from America's Tires (the one in Walnut Creek). Excellent service by both Miles and Cameron at this location. I was informed during an oil change that I had a split on one of my tires so I went in for an appointment here past Wednesday. I knew my tires need to be replaced soon and Miles gave me the rundown of quotes for new tires. We went ahead and ordered new tires which were expected to come in Friday. Thursday morning hits and I received a text that the new tires came in already. Cameron told me I can come in anytime to get them installed despite having zero appointments available that day. I went in and it took them 1 hour to finish despite how busy it was. S/O to the team here for being quick, responsive, and straight forward. Brought my car in for tires. Took 4 hours from the time of my appointment to get them on, which seemed odd but whatever, I live close enough so I just left it and went home. When I dropped the car off it was running perfect. When I picked it up they told me I needed anew battery. Battery is a top of the line Odyssey AGM, they are known for lasting 8-10 years and I only bought mine 3 years ago, but sure enough on the drive home it was only charging 11v. I check my gauges constantly and I know for a fact it was charging normally when I dropped it off. Not sure what they did but these batteries can be damaged by improper load testing. So now I have to buy a new $400+ battery. I'm sticking to America's Tire Company from now on. read more

I needed a complete set of new tires and am new to the area. I searched around and found the set I wanted at a different vendor, Americas Tires matched the price to get my business. My new tires were ordered and installed within two days. The instillation took less than an hour. Fast-forward 4 months, one of the tires was damaged beyond repair (100% my fault). The 70,000 mile warranty was honored and I paid less than $50 for the new tire. Parking is tight but they have always had plenty of convenient appointments available. Such a pleasant experience! Brought my car here for a tire rotation and balance since my current mechanic is temporarily closed due to COVID-19. I honestly didn't expect too much but was blown away by the extraordinary service, promptness, and execution. It was super easy and convenient to schedule an appointment online. When I showed up, Sean came out to greet me immediately. He was very friendly and professional. He checked my tires and mileage and told me that everything looked great. I pulled my car into one of the stalls and waited inside while they performed the service. I love that you can watch them working on your car from right inside of the waiting room. Everything was really clean and spaced out inside, and all of their associates were wearing masks. Each staff member that I encountered was cordial and seemed happy to be there. I believe that I was quoted around 45 minutes or so, but it only took about 30 minutes for them to complete everything. The most shocking detail of it all; they did the tire rotation and balance for FREE 99! Totally wasn't expecting this, but it really ended up making my day. When Sean initially asked me if I wanted a receipt, I just said yes because I always make sure to get receipts for everything. I had to do a double take when I saw that the total was zero. This is a free service that they provide when you purchase tires from them (this was my first time here so maybe this was done as a courtesy?! Either way, I was appreciative). Jacob helped me with the "tumor" in my tire and made sure I got back on the road safely. The pricing is right on par for the tire I got but the quality of customer service is bar none. Very friendly service! His staff seems to like him which is a great indicator of how he oversees his team. Ordered a tire and wheel (extra spare for the truck) on Thursday. Came right in, got it ordered, was pretty quick and painless. Gave the guy my number. He said the tire would be ready on Monday and they would call me to come get it. Monday came, no call. No call Tuesday. So Wednesday I call them. "Oh yeah, the tire's ready to go." So if I hadn't called, I never would have got any notice. So I go there and now there's a giant line. Takes a good 15-20 minutes. There's two guys working, I'm at the front and suddenly they're both off doing something. I'm sure they were helping someone but this is ridiculous. There are four registers, there's a long line and only two guys working. Get more guys behind the register. I get up there, turns out the tire isn't ready. It's in the back somewhere but the wheel was never put in. I tell him I literally just called 30 minutes ago and someone told me on the phone it was ready to go, come get it. He says he'll have someone do it now but I'm not sure how that's going to work since there's a ton of people including a lot in front of me. So I wait. It took 20 minutes and the guy did come get me (I thought for sure it would be an hour) but the whole thing was poor service. Said it would be ready Monday. It wasn't. Said they would call. They didn't. Said on Wednesday when I called it was ready. It wasn't. I mean, for paying almost 400 bucks for one wheel, I'd expect them to do what they said they do. This place is very busy so they don't need my business again, they're doing fine. My first experience 6 months ago was great, I was In and out with awesome customer service! Fast forward to today, I go in because my steering wheel is shaking bad and my front tire appears to be smooth with silver coils things coming out! My first experience here was good which brought me back, but unfortunately my second one not so much. Made an appointment to have my tires mounted on a set of wheels that I brought into the shop. It took about 15 min standing in line before I could check in because they kept taking other people that weren't in line for pick ups. Ok fine. I was told to come back in a hour, so I left to get lunch and kept track of the online "journey tracker" which said 2:37pm, when I got back at 2:40 they hadn't even started. So I was told to wait another 20 minute. I waited an hour then go ask again and they still arent done. I worked at discount tire, I know it doesn't take that long to mount and balance a set of tires. So now I've spent over two hours of my day waiting around for these guys to get this done. I'm very annoyed having to wait this long and missing another appointment. Now I'm going to get stuck in traffic in the way home which was my point of making the "appointment" by the way Ryder, the guy that was helping me was nice and just as frustrated because he kept thinking the tires would be done but when he checked they weren't. He's not to blame the guys out in the shop. My appointment was at 1:30pm it's now 3:50pm I'm writing this as I'm waiting. UPDATE when I got home I was carrying the wheels out of the truck and one of them did a light bounce on the ground. All the weights from the balancing fell off because whoever did the balancing didn't clean that spot on the wheel before applying the weights. so now I have to go back over there and deal with all that again?! ‍ read more

These guys are amazing. I drive 15-20 minutes, and pay the bridge tax just to get all my tire needs done with the highest customer satisfaction. There are multiple closer tire shops, but not one comes near the customer service and support that this America's Tire gives. I brought my Honda CRV in with a slow leaking tire, they need to replace it due to the severity of the puncture. Normal replacement price: $288. Warrantied replacement: $40. They're done in less than 30 minutes, and professional friendly attitudes no less. I brought my wife's car in over the summer to rotate the tires, done in 30 minutes. I know not every trip will be as fast as these, but their prices + warranty + free tire repair + free tire rotation + turnaround time are always better, waay better than any other competitors. read more
