    Tread depth chart

Came in midweek, less than an hour before closing time, without an appointment cuz it's not needed to get a free tire air pressure check. Andrew filled the air in all four of my tires and explained that they could repair my left front tire which was significantly low in air, at no cost. Awesome! While checking my vehicle in, he proceeded to offer me a deep discount on replacements for two of my tires with very low tread depth that would need to be changed very soon regardless. No pressure, he just wanted to give me the option. I decided it was in my best interest to take the deal, especially as I happened to not be in a hurry on this day. Turns out, they took care of everything quickly anyway, less than a 30-minute wait for my car to be ready. Andrew even provided helpful reminders, like how a tire rotation is recommended every 5k-8k miles to help the tires last longer, and that they do it here at America's Tire for free. Friendly and professional service, quick turnaround time, discounted price, AC in the waiting area to stay cool on this warm and sunny afternoon... I couldn't have asked for anything more.

America's Tire is awesome! Very well organized check in process. I stopped by the tire shop to see if they could top off the air pressure in my daughter's car because the low pressure warning light was on. I initially went inside the store to inquire about this and the associate told me I just needed to go around to the side of the shop and drive through the bay. They have free air pressure check and fill up with no appointment necessary. They have a dedicated drive through lane! What amazing customer service! The guys inside the shop immediately helped me and topped of the air pressure in all four tires. I'm definitely going to consider them the next time I need tires.

Most local locations all have great service but I must say this store is slightly better. I arrived 10mins before they open and there was already a line outside this morning lol

Another picture of the error on my dashboard after pickup from America's Tire.

I'm a long-term customer of America's Tire Company in Dublin, CA. I went in with a positive attitude, happy to be getting new tires. I had an appointment. I arrived on time. They reported that my tires had not been delivered to the store. I showed them the confirmation email and order number, indicating that the tires had been delivered yesterday. They found the tires. This was my first bad experience of the day. I left the car to have the tires installed and got a voicemail saying that my TPS sensors (tire pressure sensors) in 3 of the 4 wheels could not be "retrained" and that I would either have to buy new sensors from them or "roll with" the error code on my dashboard. I told them I couldn't believe that all 4 had been working this morning, when I drove in, but 3 suddenly had battery failures at the same time during tire installation. I quizzed them on how they had attempted to retrain the sensors. They claimed to have done it the right "Chevy" way and to have attempted multiple frequencies. I asked if they had used 315 MHz, which was indicated on the sensors when I bought them in October 2024 *and had them installed at America's Tire Company, Dublin!*" They tried again, but I ended up leaving with indicators on my dashboard showing that all four sensors (not just 3) were not giving any tire pressure readings. So now I'm going to buy a reset tool from Amazon to try it myself. I'll update this review tomorrow if the reset tool works, which would be 100% confirmation that the techs at America's Tire don't know how to reset TPS sensors ... amazing since that's a core part of their job. Finally, I noticed some new scratches on my rims. The car is 10 years old, so whatever, but don't take your newer car there if you want to maintain clean rims. To summarize, 3 problems today: (1) tires not found, (2) TPS sensors not reset, and (3) rims scratched. I'll be finding another tire store. UPDATE 8/7/26: I bought a TPS reset tool from Amazon, put my Chevy Volt into TPS Learning Mode, and reset all 4 sensors on the first attempt. Problem solved. How is it possible that America's Tire can't reset these sensors, which they originally installed? Pics Attached. In two pictures, my dashboard is throwing an error about the TPS system. In the last picture, everything is working fine again. The mileage shown indicates the order.

America's Tire Dublin got my Mustang safely back on the road after a flat. Huge thanks to Dillon Mlynsky for top-tier service.
    Brandon P.

I normally don't write reviews, but Dillon Mlynsky at America's Tire in Dublin absolutely earned this one. After a 16-hour shift at the hospital, I ended up with an unexpected flat tire at the worst possible time. I was exhausted, stressed, and just trying to get home safely. Getting towed to America's Tire in Dublin could have made the day even worse, but because of Dillon, it ended up being the best part of the whole situation. Dillon was professional, kind, understanding, and went above and beyond from the moment I got there. He worked with me to find a better tire setup than what I previously had, helped keep it within my budget, and most importantly made sure I got back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. What stood out most was that he didn't treat me like just another customer. He treated me like someone he genuinely wanted to help. That level of service is rare, and it made a huge difference during an already stressful day. I can honestly say this was the best experience I've ever had with any tire shop. America's Tire is lucky to have Dillon Mlynsky representing their Dublin location. He is a true leader, a major asset to the company, and someone who absolutely deserves recognition for the way he takes care of people.

I just want to know if i can buy the tires from you guys and bring new aftermarket wheelset to be mounted? I don't need the wheels mounted on the vehicle.

Do they do wheel and rim repairs?

Hello Scott, thank you for thinking of America's Tire for your wheel questions. Our stores normally work with local auto detailers for any wheel finish or repairs. You can use our store locator to reach out to our nearby stores and our technicians…

I have low air in my tires. Can I stop by and get some air in them? If so, how much is the service?

I thought I would come in here to get a tire rotation, which is a free service that they provide four tires that are theirs. I normally go to the one in Concord like I mentioned, but I happened to be closer to this one, so I thought I would take advantage of it. I was told after the rotation that I would need to get a new tire because there was a nail that was unrepairable on one of the tires. No problem, I thought, since I had paid for an extended warranty on all the tires a few months ago. I was led to believe this would come at no cost to me as a result. I also had paid for a three-year alignment previously, which I thought was a good deal. So, Tim quoted me with an invoice that had $136 alignment on it, but he assured me that it will be taken care of because I had paid for the three year alignment. He also showed me that everything else would cost zero. After an hour and a half, I was up sold on an extended tire warranty, which didn't make sense to me since I thought that the warranty would cover every tire, but I figured it would be fine since Tim told me it would cost $41. Then when they were about to give me the keys, I was charged $140 for services. I thought we were all included in the warranty, not to mention, I was quoted at zero. I was charged for taxes on the new tire (even though the tire was zero dollars), mounting and balancing, alignment, a tire recycling fee, and other labor costs. The extended tire warranty was quoted at $62 even though I was told it would be $41. In my mind, I still couldn't make heads nor tails of all of these things. I even questioned them about it. But I had an appointment elsewhere in the East Bay and needed to be on the road and ended up agreeing to paying $140 for a zero dollar service. I would've been happy paying $41 for the tire warranty but lo and behold I paid three times that. Don't come to this place unless you're prepared to get screwed. I recommend big brand tire in Concord if you must go to big brand at all - at least that place I had been going to for years and I know I could have counted on the folks there and could have trusted them not to charge me extra and not to lie to me about a zero cost service. Heck, go to any other tire place if you have to stay in Dublin or Pleasanton. Some tire places treat you like family. This one treated me like a couple of dollar signs.

We all know the story, on what is scheduled to be a three-hour sightseeing tour on a boat, passengers get caught in a storm and end up stranded on an island. After calling and asking for an estimate/quote for the services needed and time estimate, I was told that it would take 2-3 hours. I then scheduled my appointment online for a routine oil change. I arrived 20 minutes prior to my appointment time thinking the sooner I drop my car off the sooner I will get it back. Wrong. I checked in at 10:40am and walked out at 3:35pm -- that's right you are doing the math correct. That is 4 hours and 50 minutes for an oil change. Upon check in the red flags popped up. Tone V. who checked me went into the parking lot looking for the wrong vehicle model even though my information was on the computer screen in front of him. Tone please learn the difference between an Audi Q9 and A5. He then, said, "Well we will get it done as soon as possible...". Not very assuring. After leaving for 2+ hours, I return to find out that service on my vehicle had not started until 2.5 hours AFTER I dropped it off. In addition to the timing issues, I'm then informed that they ended up unscrewing the transition fluid drain instead of the oil drain and ended up flushing out all the transmission fluid instead of the oil and had to correct that mistake. It's a bit alarming that they did not have the knowledge that European car models do not have dip sticks to detect oil levels (it is done through the electronic sensors in the car). When FINALLY getting my vehicle back almost 5 hours later, I was disappointed at the cleanliness of my car. Brown grease smudges/fingerprints along the hood, passenger door handle and along the bottom of the car. When cleaning off my steering wheel with a tissue it was covered in brown grease. The interior also had a very strong smell-- like car fluid/grease/auto body shop smell which lasted for a couple days. Also in my observation (as I was stuck/confined there for hours), it appears that this location in Pleasanton typically has customers that are "regulars" from the area and the staff caters to them with preferential treatment. In addition, it seems some staff members may not be used to dealing with female customers as I found it hard to make eye contact with the some of the staff to get updates on my car and felt like I was completely invisible. The only staff member that was understanding of my frustration and gave me an update was the guy that ultimately finalized my check out. A week later and I am still confused and disappointed about what really transpired that day. From appointments not being honored, poor time management, lack of attention to detail, poor customer service, lack of respect to return vehicles to customers in the same condition and most importanty having to wait almost 5 hours for basic servicing is mind boggling. I would only recommend taking your car to the Pleasanton location if you have an entire day that you don't mind wasting, like being ignored, want to question the level of service you are getting and want to pay for cleaning/detailing afterwards.
