Actually one of my most favorite and practical businesses. I used to take my car to a competitor always seem like it was a grudge to try to fix anything and it was very time consuming. America's tire is very refreshing experience. Super easy to get stuff done. When I'm low on air and any of my tires I can drive into the back door and it takes less than 15 minutes usually to have them check on my tires. I bought the extra insurance which says if I get a screw in my tire, and replace it for free. Also always made it easy to schedule appointments and communicate very well and this is my tire company for the rest of Life as long as they keep up the great work. Love this place! The people that work here are always so friendly and helpful. They find ways to make sure they are giving you the best deals and save you money. Today I came in to get one tire replaced. Isaiah was on it! I showed him the estimate from Honda and he saw what I needed. Instead of charging me full price for a new tire, he took the time to calculate how many miles were left on the current tire and credited me. He saved me $100! On top of that, he was giving me tips on how to save money so I don't feel pressure as a female to pay the overpriced recommendations from dealerships. Thank you Isaiah! Came in to have the tires on my TESLA MODEL Y rotated, ended up buying two new tires thanks to a plug I'd previously gotten after a slow leak. The staff was very knowledgeable, patient with their explanation of what a good tire recommendation may be, and didn't pressure me to buy. Nonetheless, I bought. The tires needed to be ordered, but they got there super fast and began the work the next day (very impressive)! After the installation there was an issue that came up due to a mistake a technician made (that honestly happened because they were trying to be so accommodating). I went back, they admitted they're wrong, and addressed it promptly, which I was really grateful for. They could have easily put me through a corporate ringer of paperwork and claims, but didn't, which I was very appreciative about. At the beginning of the review I bolded the car type at the beginning of my review because thankfully they were familiar with all the electronics the car has inside and did not come up with an excuse that they were too inexperienced to help. They were also familiar with a good tire for electric vehicles. They suggested the best tire, which was very pricey, but they didn't pigeonhole me into buying it. They presented all options, to include their benefits/draw backs, which I liked. All that being said. If you have rim protectors, make sure they get removed by someone with experience so as not to create any issues or place the staff here in an odd predicament while trying to help install your tires expeditiously. I bought new tires from here, and came back few weeks later to have one of them repaired when a piece of metal somehow got jammed in on the side. The staff were confused on how to reset my tire maintenance light at first, but after my insistence that we have it remedied and our combined effort in locating the manual it was quickly fixed so I didn't have to continue driving with the annoying light on! I appreciated the service so much that I referred a friend when he had a big flat, he ended up getting all new tires as they were due for replacement anyhow! Wow, what a great experience here! I had a tire pressure warning light come on while driving and saw a gradual drop in tire pressure. I assumed probably a nail or screw as there is lots of construction near me and others have been having lots of flats as well. Decided to try this location as I see it often but have never been in. First off, they have an amazing drive-thru 'Tire check' lane where a technician immediately evaluates your issue, and in our case he felt our assessment was probably right. He gave us the option of waiting (which at that time of day would be about 2+ hrs as a walk-in customer) or topping the tire off and setting an appointment for the next day; we opted to wait. During our wait time my wife and I watched much of their shop crew and all of their front of the store people at work and were super impressed! The front people especially were very courteous to everyone that came in, and their approach was super open and honest about customer options-no hard sell or upsell on anything. The communication between the shop crew and customers was fantastic as well, very professional with lots of updates and time estimates to keep everyone informed. Our overall take is that this is a very, very well run shop and it was obvious there is a focus and training on good customer service. In the end our tire was confirmed to have a nail and repaired, and then (!) came the best thing ever - THEY DO FLAT REPAIRS FOR FREE!. I was totally prepared to gladly pay for their service but learned this is a company policy - wow, what a great way to show you care for your customers! Based on what we saw I also scheduled our second, older vehicle for TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) sensor replacements (warning light habitually on) which I knew it needed but was dreading looking for an honest place to do the work - I found that here! Bought 4 new tires from them. I went through the website and they price matched from tire rack and were very responsive and communicated well. Made an appointment for the first thing on a busy Friday morning and when I arrived a little early they already had a sign with my name on it! They checked me in when they were done with the customers ahead of me. Gave me the obligatory sales pitch on wipers, alignment, and a new spare tire and quickly checked me in. Everything was installed and aligned in just under 90 minutes and they called me when it was done. Everyone was courteous and professional. I don't mind the low-key up-sell as their prices are reasonable and they need to increase their margin like any business and they didn't do it in an aggressive way with me. I just said no thanks and that was it. Granted I'm a privileged middle aged white guy with a middle aged mid priced car and understand others might be treated differently or feel more pressured with any type of upselling. I ordered a set of tires off Tire Rack and sent them to America's Tire in Dublin for installation. The tires actually arrived earlier than expected so I called America's Tire to reschedule my installation for an earlier date. Cory was able to get me in on a busy Friday and provided me with excellent customer service. The team here is busy but greeted me upon entrance and was very nice, respectful, and accommodating. They did a great job mounting and balancing my new tires and took good care of my car (they even put your key fob in a plastic bag so it doesn't get dirty). Generally speaking I've really appreciated the service at America's Tires, and have often recommended it to both Friends and Family on numerous occasions, hence why I still give 3 stars in spite of the disappointment of today's experience. Before we get into the "-2 star" stuff, I want to say that Jeff, in particular, is outstanding in terms of service at this location - and that's been true on more than one visit so felt it pertinent to highlight that - I also interacted with and observed a few other service-oriented associates, so can attest to the quality of at least several of the individuals working here as being an especially positive aspect of this particular location. I was, however, disappointed by other facets of my recent experience, which I want to make sure to alert others of: The goal was to purchase/install 4 new tires, and I new exactly which tires I was purchasing. Here are some things to be aware of during that process: Ordering Tires / Installation Appt - some deals may be available online that aren't available at the store, and some deals may be available at the store that aren't available online, so check online, but it may also be worth calling and/or going in (if you call they might tell you to come in), if you have the time, to verify relative pricing. - I was able to get a slightly better price by going in. - Make sure to set an appointment for installation if possible - this supposedly reduced the wait time to, at most, an hour and seems to be honored. (...although read on for the unfortunate qualification, in my experience, to this otherwise very practical wait time...) Online vs. In-Store Ordering, Cost & Availability - If you call to inquire about tire cost, make sure you also confirm if they have them in stock (don't assume the service person will check). After I shared what I was attempting to do (including the type of tires I intended to purchase), the individual I spoke to told me to come in when they opened the next day, rather than purchasing online, so I assumed we'd be able to take care of everything at that time. Instead, when I came in, that individual wasn't working and it turned out they didn't even have my tires in stock, so I had to set an appointment for the following week, once the tires would be delivered. "Free" Alignment Assessment Option - Everything started off pretty smoothly, and they did complete the installation within an hour, but then, near the end of that wait time they asked if I also wanted a "free" alignment assessment. Sounds appropriate to new tire installation, so I wanted to say yes, but was also trying to keep my appointment to an hour, so asked how much longer that was expected to take... I was told up to another hour which was frustrating considering my whole appt was scheduled intentionally to keep the wait to an hour at most. So note that if you choose this, unless they modify their procedure, you'll likely be waiting more than the originally expected time of 1 HR. Additional Cost/Time for Alignment - I also asked, and was told at that time that post-assessment, if alignment was off and I wanted it corrected, the actual alignment process would cost an additional $90. - Alignment was barely off per the document they showed me - so I asked if it was truly worth $90 and more of my time to correct - or whether it could wait for the 6 month tire rotation servicing or something. Of course I was told now is better, and want to be able to trust the "professionals" I do business with, so hesitantly agreed to have it done, and, as a result, was left sitting there waiting another hour... The Gist I suspect being upsold (both in $ and time) would be pretty frustrating/disappointing to pretty much anyone, at this point - pretty lousy service, honestly - and left a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the experience, which had otherwise been relatively positive up until that point. I did convey to the technician (and asked him to convey to his manager, or whomever it made sense to mention it to) that the Alignment option (and additional cost/time) should be discussed with the customer up-front, while going through the tire purchasing process rather than when they're being notified that their tire installation is complete, and they're expecting to be leaving soon. All in all my 1 HR appointment ended up taking 2 hours... the silver lining of which, I suppose, is that the extra time waiting gave me the opportunity to write up this review and give others a heads up. TRAILER/RV REVIEW: 5 stars. I called more than 15 places in the tri-Valley area and this was the ONLY place that carried Goodyear Endurance (made in the USA) tires for trailers IN STOCK. Most other places need to special order. Additionally, this was one of a few places that have the ability to change the tires on the trailer at their store. They have a very large trailer bay in front of their garage. I was able to back up my trailer into the spot. Then they have a jack that they wheel out and is able to lift up heavy trailers so they can change the tires. Shout out to Zack and Conor. They were very informative, know exactly what they are doing, and familiar with trailer tires. They also filled air in my spare tire for free! This was such a smooth experience. I dropped off my trailer around 8:30 AM and it was ready by 2 PM. I did not have an appointment and it was a busy day. Not a big deal to me. I purchased the six year warranty which allows me to get a repair/replacement tire (Should anything happen) from Americas tire/Discount tire locations. I believe in California they are called America's tire. Elsewhere they are called Discount tire. read more

Thank you for your effort and service on removing the nail and patching my tire . I was impressed with the quick service BUT WHEN I DROVE MY CAR OUT WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY I NOTICED MY TPM GAUGE READ 40 PSI -(strike 1)!!! I had to go to another tire shop asked a technician to help me check all my tires. The technician deflated the tire that was repaired and he noticed all four tires are missing their caps (strike 2)!! Outstanding service provided by the team here. I had them install tires and a set of aftermarket wheels. They were very attentive and provided excellent updates to the status of my wheel and tire change. Super friendly staff and exceeded my expectations. I happened to sit by the window with a view into the service bay and could see they were incredibly careful with my new wheels. They carefully removed and bagged my old set of wheels and placed them back into my car. One of their managers (forgot name sorry! Started with a C) explained the work that was performed, handed me the tire registration card, my lug key, and was a super chill dude. I used to be a regular at their Union City location but after my friend who used to be a manager who no longer works here recommend me to switch Dublin. He also worked at Union City for a while and pointed out several flaws. One of them was that with an appointment at Union City it would take almost three hours for my tires to be rotated. I know I gave them a 5 star review but haven't been back there or updated my review. The first time I came here with an appointment I immediately noticed how fast my vehicle was serviced (tire rotation/flat repair). In less than 30 minutes I was in and out. I then compared it to Union City and realized I've been wasting my time over there. The staff and service here is amazing. Very professional and will answer and break down any questions or concerns you may have. I have been here couple of time as a walk-in and the service fast. They checked the tire tread before I dropped off the car and then they called me and said they can't rotate the tires because the tire tread is too low. I routinely check my tire tread so I know for a fact they are not low. I think they were trying to sell me new tires. Complete waste of my time. Probably the worst experience I've ever had trying to purchase tires. Wife got a flat and decided to come here - they suggested it'd be a few hours, but at ~4hr of waiting for work to begin on replacing 2 tires, I began to realize the inefficiency of the operation. One kid in the back looked so stoned that I don't know how he managed to function, the rest weren't doing much, and most of the time there were empty bays. They kept servicing cars and the customers weren't even there to pickup, so it became clear that they were going to jam ours in after everything else instead of helping us out. I began questioning how efficiently the employees were working and the manager raised his voice at me further escalating the situation. Saw a worker in the back mouth "glad we we got rid of one a**hole customer" when another customer that had an appointment left after complaining that his appointment wasn't served per the agreement. Overall, this place has a management issue. I would suggest not going here for any reason. That said, not all America's Tire are bad. The one in Tracy is great, so it's a shame that we went to this shameful location. read more

Terrible service! On Saturday April 23, I had took my car to get my front left driver's side tire checked up on because it was leaking air. After dropping my keys off to them when I had got my car back it was not the same as I dropped it off. As you can see in the pictures after I had picks up my car I had drove home and noticed that they had fully curbed my back left tire and didn't notice it until it was too late they were closed at 6 when I picked my car up and closed Sunday. I walked in without an appointment for a tire rotation and Elijah promptly assisted me. My truck was taken back within 20mins. There was an issue with my lug nuts, I was offered to replace. I explained my husband literally just ordered new my nuts a day prior and passed on the offer. Manager Andrew returned and explained for safety reasons they could not put my luggage nuts back on and as a courtesy and for safety reasons he would replace them at no cost.
