Pros: Needed 4 new tires for my SUV. Dropped off my car and they ordered and installed within 24 hours. The service advisor was friendly and helpful. Cons: picked up my car and tire sensor/calibrations had not been reset. Spent $1600 on new tires and they were not even wiped down, they were covered in white markings and filthy. The lug nut covers were not properly reinstalled so I lost 8 of them as I drove, causing me to have to spend another $50 to replace them. Pretty bummed because we've gotten all our tires here and this was an unpleasant experience. read more

On a good note.. went to American tires, had a leak in my right front tire of my jeep, thought for sure they were gonna try to sell me a new tire. But Alex said he would take a look at it. On the way to San Diego with a fully loaded SUV moving into a new place, my Audi Q3 tire pressure light came on driving I-215. We pulled into America's Tire off Newport Road for tire pressure check. Charles helped us immediately and showed a completely flat tire (so thankful we made it to the shop!). He checked us in and appreciated we weren't local and needed help quickly and couldn't leave the car overnight. He customer service was fantastic. The tire had a sharp metal object wedged into it but was fixable. Jay and Damian both were great in the service and getting the tire fixed and pressure sensor reset. Sure enough, America's Tire will actually check your tire pressure and fill up the air in your tires for free if you pull around front. I thought that was the line, LOL! Anyway, I came in today for tires, and after making small talk, and the representative checking out my vehicle he went back inside and he gave me a deal no one could resist. Christian, my service adviser, went above and beyond to help me with a tire I just bought less than 1,000 miles on. Tire apparently had a splitter from a piece of wood in the side wall of the tire. I'm struggling financially right now and they were able to add discounts to reduce cost. Worst America Tire in the area. You buy your tires there which come with a free rotation. Everytime you go for the rotation it takes 5 hours minimum. Made a appointment for 11:45 showed up at 11:30. Told me couldn't find my appointment but it wouldn't be a problem. At 12:30 I asked what was going on I was told it will be at least another hour and a half. I'm expected to wait two and a half hours with an appointment just to do a tire rotation. I will never buy tires here again. There are too many other places to. I suggest others do the same. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. This is now the second time I've brought my Tesla through here and they don't know how to put rim caps on. First time I took it here both my rims caps on the right side were not put on correctly and flew off when driving. I talked to manager about the issue AT THE TIME and he said he would order new ones and take care of it. Keep in mind ordering rims caps come in a set of 4 rims caps. Second time, just recently less than 2 weeks ago they again don't correctly put my right rear rim cap on. Again, flew off when driving. I then proceeded to work and talk to ERNE. Erne ordered them no problem and called when they came in. The issue I have is ERNE tried to only replace 1 rim cap when you order 4. He also tried to power trip on me and tell me he's " Senior Status" is enough to know it all. What does senior status have to do with my rims caps? He then proceeded to make me go grab them out of the garage.What a JOKE & Embarrassment for someone who's a "senior" here. Never going here again! Informing mutiple people about to terrible service. I have come here OFTEN and every single time I get the most friendly, helpful, kind people helping me. They are so accommodating and understanding of my time. I work in the medical field and time is often of the essence because we all know nails never plan to puncture our tires on a weekend, no, only during the week when we have no time to fix them lol. Went to get 4 new performance tires for my car and spend about $900 only to be disappointed in the service, I noticed a chunk of paint was missing out of my wheel right after the service and lots of vibration in the steering wheel and gas pedal. i took it to the dealership to have it looked at and was told that 2 of my wheels didn't have any balancing weights on them and i had only had the tires for about a week. I have been using America Tires for decades with good experiences for the most part. This was my first visit to the Menifee store and it was the worst possible experience. I took my EV in because I had a very slow leak in my passenger side rear tire and wanted to get it fixed. I took pictures of my tire prior to taking my vehicle in just as a precaution. After waiting about 45 minutes the technician comes in to tell me that I have two holes too close together that they cannot repair the tire. I informed them that I needed to see the tire with the two holes as I did not believe that there where to holes. I inflated all my tires to the recommended 44psi on Saturday and today Tuesday when I checked the tire pressure prior to my appointment is was down to 33psi so losing about 3.5psi per day. The technician brought my tire in and tried to show me the hole but could not so he had two small metal pins trying to show the hole and when one would not go through I asked him not to put the pin through and create another hole but he did it anyway. At this point all confidence and trust was gone and I told them I would like to get a second opinion and to reinstall my tire so I could go. They then took me out to the shop area and informed me that they had drilled out my tire in an attempt to repair before they noticed the second hole and now the tire would not hold any air as you could hear the air just leaking out which it did not do prior to me bringing it in. I insisted that they place some sort of plug in the tire, as suggested by one of their technician, so that I could drive it home and take it anywhere else other than here. I manager told me that the tire was not good and needed to be replaced even though the tire only had 7,500 miles on it (7,500 miles on the tire and it is no good). Never again. As someone else previously stated, you have been warned. Customer service is also atrocious. read more
