What a night and day difference in service between my two America's tire experiences between this Napa store and the Vacaville store. Oddly enough I had to pay the store a visit for another failed trailer tire. This time it was on our RV. The valve stem failed and left our RV stranded. I took the loose/flat tire to the store and was promptly greeted by Dylan. He listened to my predicament and sprung right into action. He personally took my tire right into the bay and swapped out the valve stem. Took no more than 20 minutes from when I came in to address the problem. I can vouch that not all super hero's wear capes nor seek validation. Dylan was humble and helpful. This is the America's Tire experience that made me a fan when I first became a customer 30 years ago. Kudos to Dylan for his help! read more

I typically run my tires down to the legal limit to get the most mileage out of them but if rainy season is coming preferable not to hydroplane ! In my racing days I worked with tire engineers so know enough about tires to know what I need and when. Over the years I have had good pricing at Americas Tires/ Discount Tires as they price match Tire Rack and Costco, or any independent tire shop, have quick shipping and have been excellent on flat tire inspection and repairs. The technicians are knowledgeable and the staff is consistent, so they have developed my trust. Tires are not something to skimp on and I only buy quality tires wirh the best performance and safety ratings , as I love to drive sporty! Dylan kept my car on time for all 4 tire replacements and had the newest Michelin Pilot Sport 5S tires available at a reasonable cost out the door. I used to use Big O tires, until they tried to over sell me and failed to notice I had a screw in my wife's tire when having her tires rotated. I've used Costco but their scheduling is tighter and especially for flat tire service but liked their nitrogen as that does prevent tire rot from moisture and also keeps tires cooler! Service is always friendly, not pushy and respectful. I have referred my friends and family to America's Tire and all have had good experiences at different locations. Trevor greeted me after finishing customer ahead of me and walked with me to CRV to check tires and mileage. He also asked questions like what kind of driving and how many miles/year driven to make sure tire selection was what I really wanted. After a wonderful wine tasting, heading to the next vineyard, then got the dashboard warning that one tire is extremely low on air pressure - what a "great" experience. But we were lucky to have America's Tire in Napa. Trevor and his team were so friendly, professional and efficient to make our life much easier than it could be. Even after finding a big bolt (not a nail) punctured the tire and the tire is beyond repairable and they didn't have a tire in store to replace, he ordered a new one right away and his team did the best they could the next morning to put the new tire on so we can go on our trip almost uninterrupted. I've been coming here for 20+ years and have always made appts and they've been timely but I came went in today with an 11am appt only to be told it'll be over an hour to complete my tire rotation. They didnt start working on my car until 11:45!!! I could hear them telling customers they busy today but kept accepting walk ins, which leads be to believe was the cause of delaying those of us with appts. This completely defeats the purpose of making an appt and normally I wouldn't have an issue waiting but I had other plans that I had to push out. My car had recently been in for service at my usual shop and was told my tires were wearing a little unevenly and it was recommended I get them rotated and balanced. I brought the car to this location because I get free rotation and balance as this is where I purchased the tires originally. After dropping the car off at America's tire, I get a call informing me that the tires cannot be rotated because the rear tires have worn in a specific pattern that indicates a suspension issue. I told him the car had just been to a shop and there was no suspension issue but that we were aware they're uneven and need rotating, so please do it. The guy I spoke with insisted I had a rear suspension issue, rotating the tires would make it ride extremely rough, the tires could not be rotated but they would try to balance them. I asked if perhaps the alignment was really off, causing uneven wear, and he insisted again it was a suspension issue and it needed to be fixed first. He even said not to replace the tires until the suspension was fixed. Well I'm JUST off the phone with my usual service center, and THERE WAS NO SUSPENSION ISSUE. The tires were not rotated or balanced and have now worn so unevenly I must replace the front tires. The rear tires look good and have more life on them. The shop is baffled at what America's tire service rep told me and said because they refused to do the rotation now I need new tires. Thanks America's tire. You've cost me unnecessary money and lost my business. read more

I've been coming to America's Tire for many years. In the last year this place has really gone downhill. I had an appt for a balance and rotation. I waited over hour before my car taken in. I thought making a appt would make a difference. I think if the employees were focused on work tasks and not messing around things could have gone a lot faster. My husband and I decided to drive to wine county with our two kids. Started like an amazing day but some how we got two flat tires on his Silverado truck! Both left tires were losing air by the second. Found this America's Tire in Napa, when the representative asked my phone number I told him we're not in their system. He gave me the bill, to my surprise it was 0.00 I said why?? He said "we want you to be on the road safe". What a beautiful unexpected surprise! Every time I've ever gotten my tires changed here, they either separate from the rim and I have to come back and have them fix it, or they last like 2 months and go bad. What really set me off was them throwing away my special lug nut for my tire AND my spare key! Why would you do that??? You have all my information, I'm a frequent customer... it's not like it's a lost and found item where you have no idea who it belongs to! You all work on cars with special lug nuts and understand how difficult it is to find a replacement. Why would you not just hold on to them until the next time I came in. Would not go anywhere else... brought my tires a few years ago, and just had normal tire rotation today, wow they are fast... my appointment was at 10:45 they said it would be ready at 11:45 and it was done at 11.. they have great prices that can't be beat and free rotation, and get the warranty. Service Mgr Travis attempted to bamboozle /lie n state it was only good for 3 years - what a crock!
