Soon after purchasing my car from the dealer I reported this to them and they responded it was most likely a result of gasses located on the dashboard finishing compounds evaporating on the interior of the windshield. Sure enough, I took her to Chuck's Auto Repair for a thorough check of the heating/cooling system. No coolant leaks or dripping & she passed the pressure test as well. This one by far is the most reasonably priced one and I was given a through explanation on the diagnosis of the car and had the patience to tell me in terms I could understand. They took it in super last minute and were able to get it up and running just before I had to go to work. Highly recommend it, and they speak Spanish as well! However. when I picked the car up, I was informed that the muffler was about to fall off and it needed to be replaced soon. I found that puzzling since it was fine when I dropped the car off. As I left the shop to drive home, it indeed sounded like the muffler was about to fall off, so I crawled underneath to see what was wrong. I discovered that the sensor was close to the exhaust pipe and that the mechanic had banged against it which broke the seal between the muffler and the exhaust pipe! When I brought this to the attention of the owner, he denied any responsibility claiming that the car had arrived sounding that way. It had not. Bottom line... use them at your own risk.
