Okay, first of all, I'm the type of customer that researches like crazy. I make sure I'm getting a competitive price. Unfortunately, we all have to buy tires and I have had to buy for four cars in the last few years. Lots of fun... Every time I need tires I shop all over and always end up at America's Tire. Why? They have the lowest, or pretty close to the lowest prices of just about everyone. Also, if they don't have the lowest they will match prices. Besides low prices I like to make sure I can get in and out quick when I need a tire rotation. Try that at the big box store. I own stock in that big box store, but I don't want to wait an hour or two for my tires to be rotated. If you take a peek as you drive by, especially on a week day you can catch them when they are not too busy and they are quick. The other issue I'm concerned about where I buy my tires is that I don't want the shop to "find" other problems my car has. Now I know there are many honest shops out there and they are saving me from sure death by offering to clean my fuel injectors, but sometimes I would rather not have to listen to that. At America's Tires they do one thing, tires. Okay two things. tires and wheels. No I don't work for America's Tire or own their stock. I should own their stock though considering how many sets of tires I have bought from them over the years. read more

I was driving from Rancho Mirage to San Diego for a client meeting. As I pulled into Temecula, my low tire warning went off. I got out of the car to check and thought maybe two of the tires looked low and was worried that I might get a flat and be late to my meeting. Called my husband who said to look for an America's Tire location. Found one a mile down the road and am very glad I did!! Dan, the manager, had me pull into a bay right away and checked all tires. They were all equally low and just needed air -- no impending disaster. SO fast, professional, friendly. I can think of a few OTHER car repair places that could learn a bit from Dan and crew. On vacation with family and relatives, my cousin hit a metal piece and had a flat tire. Upon arrival to this Store, we were greeted immediately and Chris was amazed by the chunk of metal that pierced the tread. He wasn't sure if it could be repaired but the Technicians went to work and amazingly, the tire was repairable! After the repair was done, they not only changed out the tire, put away the spare tire, cleaned the sidewalls, checked the other tires, they DID NOT charge us for the service! OMG! This Company is GREAT, FANTASTIC, and exceeds all expectations! Definitely recommend this Tire Company and truly appreciate the WONDERFUL service! read more

Judging from other reviews this store must now have a different staff. All I can say is that when I sent my daughter to this store 8/26/2015 for a repair of a nail in her right rear tire, which I had carefully inspected that same morning, they removed the tire and then told her they could not reinstall it on her car because the cord was showing. They wanted her to buy a new tire instead. Knowing full well there was penty of tread remaining on the tire and not even worn to the wear bars when she left that morning, I spoke to the "technician" myself by phone. He said they would not reinstall the tire because the metal cord was showing. I asked why then did they remove it in the first place? He had no answer, so I said that I would travel the 22 miles to their shop and install the tire back on the car myself. At which point he asked me to hold while he spoke with his manager. When he returned to the phone he said he had spoken with his manager and that they would replace the tire with a used tire at no charge. I told him I still wanted the return of the original tire for my own inspection. When my daughter returned from this store they had indeed replaced the tire with a good used tire. And her original tire was in the trunk. HOWEVER, inspection of the original tire revealed they had ground down the shoulder about a half an inch into the cord to reveal the metal cord! The grinder left gouges accross the tread, not with the tire as wear would have been. I am saving the tire in the hope that maybe someone from America's Tire will read this review and will be interested in such blatant dishonesty. read more

I've been buying tires here since around 09, always had great service! Bought my first HD diesel truck recently, and took it by for a tire pressure check before a long road trip. Mac, was the "on duty attendant", and he was outstanding! I was way over on the tire pressure and he was gracious enough to let me know that I was off the recommended PSI, without being condescending! I've gone to this Americas Tire Company before just because they had the best prices. They have always been courteous and quick. But let me tell you, last night takes the cake. I was driving to pick up my daughter from daycare at 4:30 in the afternoon. By the time I pulled in the tire pressure warning had lit up and I got out and could hear the air escaping out of a huge hole. I immediately called a tow company because my car (a Nissan Leaf bought used a year ago with supposedly 'new' tires) doesn't have a spare, but they couldn't get there until 5:45. I called America's Tire Company because I knew I needed two rear tires as well and had priced them earlier in the week, so I knew they had the best prices. I let them know what had happened and they said even though they closed at 6:00, they might be able to stay open a little late, and just to get there as soon as I could. The tow truck driver got there at 5 minutes till 6:00. I called ATC to let them know he had just gotten there, and asked if they could please please stay open. (I am a college student and have a huge test to take this morning first thing, I COULD NOT be stuck at home with a flat tire!) The gentleman I spoke to said "Oh we're closing up now...but we'll see you in 10 minutes." I jumped in that tow truck and got there as fast as possible (the tow truck driver also deserves a great yelp review) and two guys were there waiting to greet me when we got there. I wish I had gotten names but I didn't. They were so incredibly helpful and courteous, were truly concerned about the condition of my tires (they were really really so bad) and worked with me in every aspect to get me into something that was much safer. I decided to purchase 4 new tires and they had them on my car in about 20 minutes. I liked them before for their prices and professionalism, but I'll never go anywhere else now. America's Tire Company on Temecula Parkway has made a customer for life. read more

Dan redeemed himself and his company today by fixing a poor customer service issue. The last time I was in I had purchased 4 new tires and on my way home I heard a loud thump under my car, I pulled off the road and found that the weights had not been attached properly and were flying off the tires as I drove. I went back and they went to work replacing and fixing the issue but did not offer anything more than an appology. I asked for a discount and was told that they would give me a good deal on my next purchase, which they said they would put in the computer. A month or so later, when I needed 2 tires for my other car, I called to see about the discount and they had no record of it but Dan said he would give me $20 off each tire. When I got there I asked them to check on a slow leak in another tire. They called me back and showed me a hole in my tire where they said a nail had been and told me I needed another new tire. I was upset because they had not asked if I wanted them to pull out the nail, I just wanted them to check on it and let me know what was wrong. Now I had a relatively new tire with a whole in it and they said it was non-repairable! I did not want to buy another tire, I wanted my slow leak back until I could replace it but they said they could not put it back on! They offered to put on a different used tire but I did not want some other used tire! Then I saw the guys looking around in my trunk, they said they were looking for my spare tire so they could put it on and replace it with a used tire. Again, I told them I did not want that! They should have asked me before pulling the nail out of my tire! I got very upset and raised my voice and then the guy threw up his hands and told the guys to put a new tire on! When I went to pay, the manager, Dan, tried to call me out in front of customers and told me that I had accussed his guys of putting a whole in my tire and told me they were "all about integrity". I got very upset and told him that his guys should have showed me the nail in the tire and asked me what I wanted them to do about it! In the end, I did recieve a discount on the two tires that I had gone there for and a new tire to replace the one with the leak. Dan walked me out to the car and appologized and I told him that because they handled the situation and replaced the tire that they showed good customer care and that I would continue to be a customer and refer others to them. Not sure if this is a good review or not, I do plan to go there again, they are nice guys and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt that they were just in a hurry and took the nail out without thinking. read more

Another great experience at America's Tire, Temecula Parkway. I went in to drop off my vehicle for its free tire rotation/balance today. The store was busy but the employees were working as hard, fast, and as efficiently as possible. When I was at the counter "checking in" my vehicle I actually saw Grant running from the shop floor to a back room. It caught my eye and at first I thought the place was on fire or something. He then walked back to the shop floor carrying two big boxes of rims and he set them near a car. Then he took off running again to the same back room and he walked out with more rims. Grant was working with such urgency that it caught my attention from inside the store. I was so impressed with Grant's work ethic that I actually showed Eric, from behind the counter, that he was running. Eric was not as surprised as I was however he was impressed. The fact that Grant was running is clearly above and beyond what anyone could ever expect from any Technician or anyone else at any position within the company. And oh yea, it was 90+ degrees today too. Grant is consistently a high performer and he should be commended for his excellent customer service. He is a great asset to the company. read more

I had ordered tires a week prior to appointment so when I got there...unfortunately they were not...the manager had tried to call me but I missed the call....Damian was helping me...he was very professional and figured out a way to get me actually a model better tire in my price range...and then went another step and found a discount from manufacturer to take the overall cost back to what I was going to pay for the tire that was not as well rated.....the manager...sorry did not get name...was very cool, apologized and was a good experience. The shop is very clean and organized and I see that their techs use a torque wrench to torque to final spec....be warry of any shop that just blasts your lug nuts on with an air tool...maybe it is pressure variable...but I doubt it and, arguably had my front rotors warped from a dealer over cranking them... Brought my two cars here for the past 4 yrs now from buying new tires to getting them rotated and balance. Just today, One of their Leaders in the shop just simply shouted and asked his workers "How's everyone doing today!" And his workers replied with inspiring attitude, energy, and motivation. At first everything was going great! Blew a rear tire out went to buy two new rear tires. They didn't have any in which isn't a big deal since I caught them 15 min before they closed. They ordered em and had them in when it came time to open the next day. Which was great! Took them maybe 15 min to change the tires out. Here is where my problem came from. I have an accord. Front wheel drive car. They left the old front tires in the same place and put the bran new tires on the back. Simply put you want your best tires with the best traction in the front. They will take the brunt of the road. Most tire shops will automatically rotate the tires, when I asked them to rotate the tires I was told it's safer to leave the best tires in the back. The fact that someone tried to fool me bothers me. It makes me think about what they try to do to people who don't know anything about tires. Are they scaming to cut work load and make money? Who knows. They all started of great but the next day they all looked lazy by trying to get out of doing a simple tire rotation. read more

My light came on indicating that my tire pressure was low and my dad recommended that I go to America Tire because they check your tire pressure for free. I called ahead of time to make sure that I didn't need an appointment and they assured me I could just pull up and they would check my tire pressure when I got there. I did just that and went inside to be greeted by three different workers there. Within minutes they informed me that my tires just needed more air, filled them up, and I was good to go! We got a "flat tire" alert on the BMW. Kaemon at American Tire filled our tires for free, gave us an accurate estimate on how long a more complete evaluation would take, and tried to reset the alert, even calling the BMW dealership in Palm Springs. I've purchased tires from America's Tires/Discount Tires for over 15 years - some stores are pretty good, some it depends. In this case I have to tell you that I had a problem with another store near work and the overall company policy on tire wear. When I went in to inquire about the problem here I asked for the manager (this is the key) and Dan came right out. He spent the extra time to explain the company tire replacement policy and why they do this when at times there seems to be enough tread to go a few thousand more...it basically comes down to safety and them not wanting their customers to suffer a crash just for a few bucks additional cost. Dan even went over and beyond and offered a nice discount on the tires so I could replace all four instead of just the two in the front that were down to the belts. I'd bought one previously due to damage for a certain price and he matched that for all of them, despite this model recently going up in price. EXCELLENT! Here's where it get's good and really separates the top of the customer service profession from the rest. On a subsequent visit a few weeks later for another vehicle I accidentally left my phone in the store. It was near closing on a Saturday and I would have been without the phone for the rest of the weekend including Monday - a holiday; a situation just not feasible as a small business owner. I got home, dug for Dan's card in my wallet and called him. He was out that day, but two minutes after I left a voice mail Dan returns my call and tells me that his employees found my phone and would wait for me to drive the 20 miles back to the store so I could pick it up!!!! Seriously? I was actually shocked at the level that they were willing to go to ensure customer satisfaction - this was definitely a first! THANK YOU AMERICA'S TIRE TEMECULA TEAM! If there were 10 stars, you'd rate all of them! Do yourself a favor and go to this store! IF (and that's a big IF) you even think you have an issue, ask for the manager and I assure you he will fix it BEFORE you leave the store! P.S. I, myself try to research and locate the most reasonable best place to purchase my tires and in hopes to receive the utmost best service, more bang for the buck...after making a number of phones calls and inquires, I selected America's Tires, now I did call three of their locations and the last one, located at; 30661 Temecula Pkwy, Temecula, CA 92592...there, I spoke with Jaime, who recommend and applied a soft sale to me by suggesting not only a "bargain" price for the tries, but also stepped up the game but providing me with additional information and the fact that America's Tires will match and/or beat a competitors price, to which they did. I was impressed, not to take away from the two other locations, but Jaime out shined the other by doing an outstanding job of being personal enough to capture the potential sales opportunity. In the end, I felt confident with the tires that I purchased and experienced very wonderful service from all the staff at America's Tires. I called and got an estimate to get some tires taken off my old wheels and put on some new wheels. the first guy i called quoted me $80.00 for dismount-remount and balancing. I called back an hour later to check if they could do it and they said it would now be $140.00 and they beganto tell me i never talked to anybody at that store. Got there had to wait more than 10 minutes to talk to someone. The person l talked to didn't really care if l have an appointment l just like any other guy stopped by to change my tires. I took my car to replace one tire. Customer service excellent. The mechanic at the end indicated me that the light on the dashboard (TPMS) will turn off after driving a couple of miles. Not true you have to reset the TPMS from the settings. Not to know is ok, give the wrong information is bad. read more

I stopped by for an air pressure check a few days ago because I was referred by a friend who buys all of his tires there. When arriving I noticed clean and tidy this shop was, unlike every other tire store I've been to. The young man who did the pressure check was very personal, professional, and joyful. I believe his name was Cayman. Even though I was only there for a free check, he treated me like I was a life long customer. Then his "manager" came back and just started raising his voice at all the employees in the shop, especially the young man who was helping me. I don't understand why the boss was so high stung and frustrated at everyone. From the looks of it he had a very good set of employees. In January I purchased 4 expensive tires for my Range Rover. Within 1 month I was in a car accident~which is when I found out Americas Tire PUT ON 2 DIFFERENT SIZE TIRES! The insurance estimator determined the reason for the accident was the tires! So today I call America's Tire to share my story. At first they said I could not return them~but when I informed them that they sold 2 different sizes he listened. I had to wait for a return call while he spoke with the manager. On the return call I was asked to bring the tires in for a refund. I arrive and the guy helping me tells me it was an error on their part that the tires didn't match. I was expecting a money refund~as I paid cash ~over $1,000.00 for them and they say they can only give me a credit on all 4 tires...BS!!! Then they say the 2 tires that were the correct size can only refund 1/2 of what I paid! The tires are in brand new condition... I just want to express how much I appreciate the great service I get every time I go to America's Tire on Temecula Pkwy. To make a long story short, I went to the dealership where I purchased my vehicle in Temecula for a nail in my tire and tire pressure issue. I arrived at 4:50 pm (their service dept. closes at 6 pm). One of the advisors met me outside and basically told me they don't have time to help me and to go to a tire store or somewhere else. He even asked a technician (in front of me) if he would be willing to stay a few minutes late to work on my vehicle and he said "No, I am leaving in 5 minutes". Basically, they did not want to help me, even though I had bought my car there, they were open for another hour and ten minutes, and I have taken my car there before for the SAME issue and they took care of it in a short amount of time. I left very sad and disappointed; I even wanted to cry. I arrived at America's Tire at approx. 5:10 pm (they also close at 6 pm). Erik welcomed me and helped me immediately. He was super friendly and did not make me feel like I was bothering him (like I felt at the dealership's service dept.). He told me they close at 6 but that they would take care of me and get me out of there in no time (which they did - it took less than 20 minutes!). I told him about what happened to me at the dealership and he listened, was super understanding, brought me water, and is overall a great person. I felt very welcome and the level of customer service is OUTSTANDING. Everyone at this store is super awesome, friendly, understanding, hard-working, and they CARE about their customers. All I want is to be treated like a person/customer that matters, and Erik and the staff at this location always go above and beyond. I am a super satisfied customer. The manager, Dan Rouse, also took the time to meet and talk with me. They made my bad situation into a positive one. I can appreciate the positive comments I am reading in the right column, however things are changing. Have any of you had repeat service? Or has no one else complained on the ethics of this company? Without sounding rude or ignorant, this company uses the practice of 'bait and switch'. I too, needed a quick fix and they were right on it and I left very satisfied and returned for more. Next I bought 4 tires plus certificates and if needed, they were honored. I left a really happy camper. Purchasing a new car (not brand, but new to me) once again, i run to Americas tire and purchased new tires and rims to compliment the body style of my car. Excellent service by kaemon. I purchase the same certificates. Just over a year, and 15,000 miles later, I am in need of new front tires and you couldn't even measure "1/32 " because they are pretty smooth. What did I really pay for? By the way, I was not the only person in waiting area having issues with the exact problem. If we all buy certificates, as repeat customers (x) * the quantity of tires sold (y), my guess is close to 100 % of us because the first certificates were honored, America's Tire is getting rich. .........As an entrepreneur, I would prefer long term satisfied rather than 'bait em and switch' .
