We had a flat on the 15N and called ahead to reserve a tire for our Mercedes'. They didn't have our size in stock but said to come on by so they could help get us home safely. When we arrived about a half hour later, Mike took care of us and called the other Temecula location and had them hold our tire until we could drive over. I worked in their air conditioned office while they worked on our car and appreciated their urgency and high level expertise. Wanted to share my experience with America's Tires on Temecula Parkway, Temecula. I called them in my research for tires and spoke with Hayden. He was very patient with me and gave me several options and price-ranges for replacement tires for my 2013 Civic. I felt no sales pressure from him. After discussing my driving habits he made a recommendation on a tire that would meet the profile. I told him I would continue to research the three choices that I had narrowed down my selection to. We scheduled an appointment for when I was available and he said to give them a call on the tires that I had selected, which I did. All of my choices had received high ratings, so it was just a matter of picking one that met my budget. Upon arriving at the appointment, they took my keys and drove into an available bay and began working. I had budgeted two hours for completion of the job since it was a weekend and they were relatively busy. A little over an hour latter from my appointment time, they called my name and we completed the transaction. They offered several version of promotional discounts, which ended up saving me more money than I had originally budgeted for the tires. As I watched them work on the car, they were like a synchronized swim team. I was very impressed. Over torqued lug nuts on our Mercedes to the point that it was impossible to remove when trying to change a flat tire.Aaa guy wasn't able to take them off so had to tow to a mechanic who was able to take 4 off and had to drill one out just to take the rim off!Now we need to have the hub replaced and you can imagine it's not a cheap repair! Mechanic said took over 500ft lbs to brake the lug nuts loose and he measured one of them and it was torqued to over 300 ft lbs when Mercedes lug nuts recommended torque is 100 ft lbs. I do not recommend this shop to anyone who values their car!These people are incompetent and if they can't torture lug nuts to proper specs,imagine how they mount and balance your tires! I found some tires and wheels on line: TSW Snitterton wheels and Falken tires Pro G4's. Eric the manager at the store met the on line price and enabled me to spend money in my city which I felt better about. About ~6,000 miles later, I got a flat. Tesla mobile service said it couldn't be repaired and wanted ~$400 for a new tire all in. America's Tire repaired it for FREE. It's demonstrated in there work performance that they care about their customers, the products they sell and a willingness to quickly get you in and out of they tire bay's. If they don't have the tire you need they can order it for you. The pricing is pretty competitive to the other tire shops as well. I commute to work and round trip I cover 144 miles. First let me say that the service is excellent and so are the product choices. Shaun was also excellent in customer service. Very patient, answered all my questions and gave me his undivided attention when talking with me. The one star is for Dan Rouse who appears to be a manager. Granted I was there towards the end of the business day so there is some allowance in his stress level but he was extremely impatient with me, just let the door shut in my face when entering the office and gave a short curt response when I asked about their Tire program (not the correct name) for tire coverage. I surely did not feel comfortable asking him further information about the program I had signed up for. I thought I'd just call in and talk to someone else for more information on the coverage. I found out I had that and so it was only $17 to replace my tire which was awesome! Definitely worth it so sign up for that. I am a first responder and was dressed in scrubs with my lab jacket. That did not affect his behavior in the least. Maybe it was because I was a woman but I found him to be disrespectful. Dan was extremely distracted, did not smile at all. Acted like I was an annoyance. I have never had that experience at this location before. If this had been my first time I never would've come back and would've definitely referred people to other businesses. Most everyone else has been wonderful. Considering I purchased my last set of tires there, go there regularly for tire rotation, purchased the extra program for tire repair and now I'm coming in for a flat tire ...I was expecting a warmer welcome. I have always felt America's Tire is the best place to get my tires from free tire balancing and rotation to having a wide tire selection. At the beginning of August 2023 I took my Camry to the Temecula store to report bubbles on the side of one tire and the fast wearing of my three year old tires. I was expecting some resistance to getting some type of proration but Rafael made my experience seamless by listening to my concern with my tires wear. He immediately helped initiate proration on my old tires that was applied to a new set of tires. He also recommended a different brand of tire that he actually had on his Honda. Lastly, he did not tell me come back tomorrow since I showed up with a little more than one hour to closing. Rafael was able to mount and balance my new tires before closing. Just a great experience!
