This time I bought a wheel/tire combo for a newly purchased vehicle and the transaction went very smoothly. The first day I went in Michael helped out and treated the car and wheels with kid gloves, which I very much appreciated. After being notified by my car that one of my rear tires had suddenly lost over ten pounds of pressure while on hwy. 371 I was able to may it very slowly to Temecula. Having had excellent service with America's Tire in Palm Desert for many years I headed to America's Tires of Temecula. Obviously, I did not have an appointment but the staff there were great and fit me in right away and plugged that little nail hole and had me on my way in just minutes ... and NO charge! Been going to America's tire for years with now my third vehicle. Had unrepairable damage to my trucks tire and the team at this location did their best initially to repair it. When they couldn't they do provided me with all my options and ordered me a replacement tire. The following day I returned and the team there was quick to replace my damaged tire and we decided to actually replace two tires and transfer the "good" tire to my spare so that I had a full size spare. The ordered tires arrived while I was still at the location and the team went straight to work, and I was in and out in a very expeditious manner. I can definitely speak to the efficiency of this location. The entire time I was there over the course of two days that team worked hard to get their customers in and out! Went in for a simple tire rotation and the manager Paul was so rude an tried to embarrass me bc i was missing a lug nut on one of my tires. I drive a jeep and had a spare tire with a lug nuts he could of offered to put on but instead held my key up in the air like I was un-clean and said they would not service me and how dare I ride around with a missing lug nut with my kids in the car. I have been purchasing my tires from this particular America's Tire for several years running now, even though there is another one closer to my home. Why, one might ask? Because I have always had outstanding service from the folks that work here. Why fix something that isn't broken? Ever since they started allowing you to pick, purchase and schedule an appointment on-line I have been doing it that way. Each time has been smooth as ice! If you are not comfortable with choosing your own tires the staff here is very helpful in helping you select tires for your vehicles; and that does not mean trying to sale you the most expensive tires right out of the chute.You don't get badgered into trying to buy extra add-ons you may not be interested in either, but ones you may want to consider depending on your lifestyle. The employees have always been friendly and knowledgeable whenever I had a question. I have been very happy doing business with this particular America's Tire. Two thumbs up! They both had excellent customer service and instilled confidence when deciding which tires to buy for my truck. We placed an order for some tires and once they arrived we went with a different brand of tires they recommended and they are incredible (Wildpeak AT3)!! Selected the tires I wanted online on a Thursday and set an appointment for installation for Saturday. Saturday rolled around and I received a call from America's Tire...tires came in but they were mislabeled and the wrong tire. Bummer. But they would get the correct tire in and I could have it installed on the following Tuesday. Thanks for the call before I showed up for my appointment, appreciated the time savings and not trying to up sell me on another tire. Tuesday rolled around and things couldn't have gone smoother. I pulled up to the store and was greeted by Emmil. They pulled up my rescheduled appointment and my order of four tires. Cool thing, the tires I originally ordered were replaced by the mfg. Replacement tire is now "W" rated vice "V" rated and they are $5 cheaper per tire than my original purchase. Other cool thing, tires are $10 off per tire if you are a AAA member. Paid, handed over my car key and headed to Starbucks for what was a promised 70 minute wait. 45 minutes into the service I received a text that my car was ready. Technician that brought the key back was extremely polite. Car drives great with the new tires! Definitely would come back to this location. And when I was sure that I would be late, I called back and rescheduled for a later time. The man with the radio voice! He took my call the first time and assured me that everything would go smoothly. I purchased whitewalls from Coker Tire Company for a vintage VW bug. It went smoothly. When we arrived they were really busy, but they still acknowledged every single one of their customers. An hour later my bug had new shoes, the old ones were gone, and I was on my way to the club meeting at Yellow Basket. My whitewalls were cleaned and they even opened the door for me. Goodbye America's Tire. This location of AT ended my 25+ year relationship with your company. This shop cross threaded 3 of the 5 lug nuts on one wheel. I found this out when taking the wheel off to do a brake job a few months after AT replaced the tire. I returned to the shop to talk to management about the incident. My intent was to notify management so they could take corrective action by training/ retraining their personnel. Instead I was confronted by management denying that they were at fault because they always start the lug nuts by hand. Yeah right guy. Lug nuts don't get cross threaded when they are started by hand. And whoever did the work knew they messed it up and didn't say a word to anyone. And AT management refused to even look me up in their computer to see who worked on my car. While I was waiting they even got me to buy one for the spare. Well they cant get it to reset more than maybe an hour. No help, just go to the dealer and good luck. The unexpected need to purchase tires is never a welcomed event, especially if you need to buy more than one, and you have a wheel size and tire preference that is not standard. I guess my car must have decided it wanted to celebrate Christmas for itself early. The team at America's Tire made the process significantly less stressful (despite a slight mistake from the Menifee location) and I couldn't be happier. I was driving and my tire went flat. It was early evening, and I called America's Tire to see if they could still take me since I would have to work in the morning and needed my car. They did tell me it would be a wait since there were several cars in line, but they would take me. I quickly put on my spare tire and headed over. The wait time was as expected, and I appreciated their honesty so I knew what would happen when I arrived. When they worked on my car, they discovered that my wheel was cracked, so it would need to be repaired. The person who repairs wheels was not there, so I would need to come back. The team came up with a solution to make it safe for me to drive home and I set up a time to return so they could repair my wheel. After figuring out a rental car solution, I dropped my car off when they opened so they could repair my wheel. Upon further inspection by the technician, they discovered that my wheel was cracked way beyond repair and I would need a new one. Sadly for me, my wheels have been out of production for years (I had them put on in 2007) so it was time to purchase a new one, which meant I would buy a new set. My car has a unique size of wheels and tires on it, so I knew the shop would have a limited selection available. I didn't like any of the options (I think there was only 1 or 2) so I knew I would need to spend time doing research finding the ones I wanted, especially if I was going to need to purchase a new set of wheels. VCT is the brand I currently had and I ended up wanting to have wheels from them again. America's Tire didn't have any in their catalog, so I spent time doing research to figure out how to get them shipped to me. After a phone call with the manager, Dan, he said they would order them for me. I was working in Menifee that day and couldn't get away to Temecula before they closed, and he assured me that I could go into the Menifee location and order from there to have them shipped to their location. At the Menifee location, they helped me order my tires, and took the time to verify that the wheels would fit my bolt pattern and unique tire size. They called the vendor directly and set up an order and they agreed to have the vendor ship directly to the Temecula Pkwy location. For whatever reason, there was a mix up with the order, even though I verified that it would be shipped to the Temecula Pkwy location. The staff who placed the order at the Menifee location had it sent to the location on Winchester. Thankfully, the team at the Temecula Pkwy location fixed this for me and they picked up the order at the Winchester location for me. On the day that the wheels would arrive, I dropped my car off so my car would be ready to go once the wheels arrived. They did an amazing job and I could not be happier. Dan and his team were very patient with me and were very accommodating since I am very particular with car. I appreciate how they were able to work me into their schedule, even though it meant some of them had to stay late a few nights, (thank you and I'm sorry!) that they took the time to chat with me, and be honest with me. I have been a customer of America's Tire for years and will continue to be after all the work they did for me. I love the new tires and the wheels look awesome. Been getting tires from America's/discount tire for years but this was my first visit to this location. All I can say is wow! America's tire is great and their customer service is always top notch. However I must say this location stood out. I came in on a Saturday for a rotation and balance. Being that Saturday is usually extremely busy I made an appointment and got in right away. Late on a hot Saturday afternoon on my way home to San Diego, I had a blow-out of one of my uncommon low-profile/run-flat tires. After several cell phone calls, I learned that America's Tire is part of Discount Tires that I have used for years in San Diego so I called and although they wouldn't be able to get a perfect match until Monday, they invited me to come in to see what else they could do. I limped in at 20 mph and was immediately met by Shaun who had his staff pull the tire to confirm that it was not repairable. Because I needed to get home to San Diego that day, Shaun gave me a "loaner tire" - at no cost - to continue my trip. All the way to San Diego I kept think what FANTASTIC service America's Tire (and Shaun) had provided. The following week I ordered the specialized tire I needed from Discount Tire in San Diego and when they installed it the next day, I returned the loaner. On June 12th, at 4:45AM, we had a blowout on our 35' RV. Limped it (7mph) to the shop and got there about 45 minutes before they opened. While waiting around 7:30 I noticed a man getting out of his car and heading to the shop. I am sorry I missed his name but he was very helpful! Even though it was 30 minutes before they opened. He was not able to help us as our tires were too big, but he offered to find a commercial tire place for me and came out a few minutes later with a recommendation. He also had no issue with the service being performed in their lot while we got the tire fixed. I highly recommend that you stay away from American tires here in to Temecula Ca. on Highway 79. I have been waiting here for a good solid three hours I was promised my vehicle within an hour, hour and half but as of yet still waiting. The wait time here is unbelievable. I special order my tires the day before and was promised a phone call early in the morning. That also didn't happen.
