Let me first say, I love American Tires. I get all our tires from them. That's why my stars are still 4 BUTTTTT I so wanted to give yall a 1 star for our most recent experience! They're normally so on top of it but we had to get our tires checked for air early on a Monday and we waited for 30 mins to have anyone even acknowledge us. I called into the office to inform them that there's a line forming at the air check station and still nothing. None of the workers would even look at us. We had to call someone over to ask if we can get some help or if we have permission to use the air on our own. We had to eventually leave cuz we are trying to get to work. Again, this is so unlike them - I'm commenting here to say either don't offer it at all, or give people permission to use it on their own or give it more attention. read more

Guess with all this waiting I have time to write a review. Let's start with CONS: Appointment scheduled for 4:00 pm. Arrived and checked in with technician at 3:45 pm. My vehicle still parked where I left it at 4:00 pm... still parked where I left it at 4:15 pm... still parked where I left it at 4:30 pm... my vehicle finally getting worked on at 4:35 pm. SMH. 5:03 pm got the hilarious text stating "Your vehicle is ready to pickup at 40885 WINCHESTER RD. Call 951-296-5350 if you have questions.Next Visit Tip: Buy & Book online for a 30% shorter avg wait time." The last part of that text message. SMH. 5:15 pm back at America's Tire. Rear passenger TPMS indicating low pressure. Technician gets a gauge, reads rear passenger pressure to be 36 psi and the driver's rear to be 40 psi. States "it's not too far off." What!?!? SMH! I literally just drove off from having you guys install new tires. I don't think asking for the proper tire pressure in ALL my tires is too much to ask for. Air added and checked. Drove off at 5:25 pm. SMH. I literally was on the fence about writing/posting this review I started while waiting. Thank all the techs in the garage who were just looking at me, not acknowledging me at all, knowing I was back because something was wrong. Gonna CC this review to regional/corporate. I've been a regular customer for over two decades taking more than five different vehicles for complete set tire purchases and install. The last few years I have seen how this location really has no sense of customer service. I've read other reviews about this location trying to pressure upsells by posing safety risks of repairing vs fixing/patching. I can attest to this based on an experience last year with another vehicle of mine. I had a slow leak in my rear driver's side tire and was told it was unsafe to repair. Got spare put in its place and patched up the bad tire myself at home. In another instance earlier this year, my wife had a nail in one of her tires. She was told to buy a new tire instead of patching up. They patched nonetheless and the tire continued to function normally. I have actually taken one of my vehicles earlier this year to M.V. Tire & Auto (abbreviated so it does not appear I'm promoting a specific business) in Murietta, CA and they did an excellent job and provided great customer service. I only write this to let reviewers know there are other good options besides this place. Lastly, not sure if having a minor/child (7-11 year old) walking freely in the garage shop while vehicles are being worked on is a good idea. I'm sure in their defense it was one of the employees kids which makes it ok. SMH. WOW! As I write this while waiting... Another customer stating she has been waiting for FIVE HOURS. Tech at the counter telling her there are NINE cars ahead of her!! Further, it was super inappropriate the technician told her not to worry and that she would get to her Chinese New Year. Her ethnicity? SMH. (The other customer sitting next to me also felt the cringe when the technician made that comment.) PROS: They price match. They are fast with getting tires they don't have in stock from other locations. That's about it. America's Tire, no need to generate that automated reply. I have already decided you have lost me as a lifetime customer. SMH. read more

I have been a customer for years and have always been very pleased with the customer service provided; however, today was horrible! I literally was waiting for someone to come and check my tires for over 15 minutes and not one person came over to assist me. There were many people working on cars right next to me and other staff moving cars in and out and they all saw me waiting, but not one person offered assistance. I thought that maybe they did not have enough staff to have anyone out there filling up tires, but if that is the case, they should take away the cones that invite you to drive up to get your tires pumped up. Or at least one of the employees should've came over to explain that no one was available. But none of that happened and I sat and waited and finally I just left. I sure hope this is not the type of customer service or lack of that I will get again. read more

I needed my tires rotated. It was fairly quick about 30 -45 minutes since I had an appointment. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT! It makes it easier. For rotation the charge was $0 but I'll get them balance next time and that's a $40 charge. read more

I've used America's Tore for years and years. Buying new tires, simple rotations, flat repairs...I've used them for all of it. Today had a flat while my wife needed to get to work and I needed to get the kids to/from school. Not a great way to start the day! Shaun was able to get me in (after I drove in on the spare) and got me fixed quickly. Was told 1hr 10mins, got the car back in 45min! Excellent service at a time when service seems to be slipping at most other businesses. The Customer service at this location needs to be addressed. I pulled in to the Air check station, sat there for 25 minutes without any employee even walking up to my vehicle. Plenty walked right by me. I watched them promptly assist every vehicle prior to me reaching the front. Numerous others came and went. I finally got out and then a technician says, we'll get to you when we can. We are backed up, with a very condescending attitude and tone. After another 10 minutes of nothing, myself and the two cars behind me pulled away. Being busy is understandable, but a little courtesy, and acknowledgement goes a very long way. read more

Came in for a simple flat tire repair that ended up a total tire replacement due to extent of damage beyond repair. Senior Assistant Manager Andy Parkerson took care of me and what was suppose to be an easy tire change ended up with a slight hiccup. The tech who changed my tire did not lift the car properly resulting in an rear right upper control arm bent. The steering wheel compensated 35° to the left and it was a mess from there. Brought the car back immediately and this is where Andy took control. Immediately recognized to problem and offered a repair at any shop I choose. The rear wheels size should have been the same set as the front even if staggered in my opinion. First time I saw the rear extending out from OEM wheel. Decided I needed to replace. Of all the America's Tire I've been to, this location is the WORST. The bald headed black guy seems like he don't like working with the public at all. Every time I go put air in my tires, I pray that I don't get him because of the bad attitude he has. And if I do, I cross my fingers, hoping that he has a better attitude but Nope, he gives me these looks as if I took a dump in front of him. There were times where he told me to pull up into the garage so he can put air in my tires and he disappeared, never came back which I was really thankful for. A couple weeks ago, I found my car had a low tire pressure light on, so I went to the dealership that day. Apparently, they just put some air without further inspection and said I was good to go. The light came right back on the next day, and when I returned there, they sent me to America's Tire saying they even go there when they have issues with their own tires. It was my first time trying this place and I have to admit that I was quite impressed by their service. Even though I had to wait for a little more than an hour since I didn't have an appointment, I was still happy because they were kind, attentive, and thorough. The waiting lounge was clean and comfortable too. After a nail was found on my tire and it was fixed, I was able to make a trip to and from San Diego safely with peace of mine. I was very pleased with them and shocked to learn it was free of charge as well. Unfortunately though, in a couple more days, that same tire got flat. (This time it got much worse during the days I neither drove my car nor paid any attention to the tire.) I didn't know if it picked up another nail on the road or there was something fundamentally wrong with my tire. Frustrated, I went back to the shop thinking I didn't mind getting a new tire since I would hate spending more time fixing it over and over. They inspected, told me there was a little hole on it for some unknown reason, and fixed it again without trying to sell anything though (even when I kind of mentioned that I was willing to buy one instead.) Honestly, I was surprised! Since they don't charge for flat tire repairs, I thought they would try to sell their tires whenever they see opportunities (just telling customers they aren't fixable or something, especially to someone like me who has no knowledge about cars/tires and would've willingly paid a few hundred bucks to just save time and annoyance). But, they did the right thing, and it felt like they cared not only about their business but also my benefit and they seemed to have pride in what they do. I waited a week or so more till I write this review to make sure my tire no longer has any issues and it has been working like new! Yay!! I now know I can trust America's Tire (because they do their job well and don't oversell.) and I know where to buy new tires when time comes in the future too!!! read more
