Huevos Rancheros with Bacon Plate (ranchero sauce was separated and I forgot to pour out) *sauce was delicious though!
    Jennifer W.

Yelp helped me find this spot for breakfast. Came in around 920 it was clean, they had a few table tops. I ordered the first thing I was familiar with and asked for Togo with the ranchero sauce separated. I got the $7.99 Huevos rancheros with bacon plate totaling around $8.65 Understanding that I may have toppled the plate, i took a pic prior to eating and forgot to pour the ranchero sauce. When i did, I had to try. I selfishly forgot to take a pic. The ranchero sauce was delicious. Thank you, Luis, for making sure my order was right. My eggs were over medium, food was nice and HOT. I would've preferred my potatoes a bit browned/fried but overall good plate.

My chicken fajitas taco was fresh and piping hot for my lunch, very good. The lemonade was delicious, it didn't take like that imitation stuff a lot of places have. Wait time was quick. I will come back again! I was greeted and the man at the register was really nice. I tore into it and it was gone before I thought to take a pic, here's what's left, which is a good sign. So good

Wanted to try this place based on all the reviews. Not far from exchange and 410 on Wurzbach. I had three tacos - chilaquiles with green sauce ( this is not with eggs) but had cheese and onions - really enjoyed this one! Machacado with egg ala mexicana - also a very good taco! Chorizo and potato - the chorizo was great! The tortillas are handmade and good - although a bit tough.

Came in around 2:45pm and it was almost empty. We always dodge the lunch and dinner rush. Seat yourself type of place. $5 margs and $5 16oz drafts all day, So already liking this place! Our server was attentive and answered all of our questions. We opted for the Poblano Mole Chicken entree, the house red enchiladas and a puffy taco. It was all fresh! Some of the best Mole (more savory than sweet) I've had while in San Antonio. Even the rice and beans had a ton of flavor. That puffy taco went down in like 3 bites. The red sauce on the enchiladas was not from a can and had a nice tang to it. The enchilada had 3 types of cheese on it and the corn tortillas were made in house so it tied it all together. You don't see that very often. We are making this a weekly stop as our tab was $33 with a margarita and a bottle beer.

Hard and old tortilla, it had a tostada texture, seems like is recycled

I noticed that many good reviews for the restaurant are completely lies. I think that they pay for good reviews. Because when I try the food, is the opposite. The salsas are watery, tortillas are hard and old, the food taste nothing but lots of salt. I had to throw away all the food that we ordered to go for my family. It was disgusting. Never again

    Grease napkins,bag and greasy taco

Bought a bacon and egg taco. The bag it came was so greasy that the taco fell out of the bag , the napkins were soaked of grease and the tortilla was soaked and fell apart because it was wet of grease. These people need to be retrained or given a course of making food the won't kill the customers by feed greasy food. If you won't eat it yourself, then don't serve it. Unfortunately I had to give them a star to post this review. But honestly they don't deserve any stars.

I tried out this place based on the great yelp reviews (thanks, guys!) and let me just say - the food did not disappoint. Usually when you order an appetizer of nachos from a restaurant, you get maybe 6-10 tortilla chips with beans/cheese. As you can see in the photos, that was not the case here! The portion was huge! A side of jalepenos, sour cream, AND guacamole were included in the base price which was awesome. I also ordered a side of chips and salsa - both of which were great. Chips were fresh and salsa has a nice kick to it. The lemonade was also freshly squeezed, which is my favorite. Will definitely be ordering again!

Amiga amiga!! I got to this place several times a month. The location has been many different restaurants. Hopefully more people check this place so it doesnt go away. I usually order tacos. But today to eliminate the tortilla i had a plate. It was really good. And also was only 5.99. The picture shows a lot left and i was working on it before the photo so needless to say it was fulfilling. Go check them out and show some love Still my go to spot in the morning. Yes. I eat the contents of the taco and not the tortilla. I got goals but still want good food.

Another bland breakfast plate ordered by my other cousin, not really bad but needs extra flavor

The place was pretty busy but was kept clean and was maintained throughout our meal. We were brought the wrong meal as there was a mixup with ours and another party's orders, but it was quickly rectified and with minimal issue. I almost always get the same thing whenever I visit a Sea Island and this time was no different. The Lot 'O' Shrimp never fails to satisfy. Crispy breading on plump shrimp dipped in tangy cocktail sauce is the way to go. A hefty side of French Fries, delicious Southern Green Beans, and fluffy Hush Puppies go excellently alongside them. And don't forget a sweet Strawberry Lemonade to keep you quenched! I've tried other dishes on the menu but this one is my absolute favorite. If you haven't tried Sea Island, it's a must. But I've always been curious because the building itself is shaped like a boat. The exterior looks a little sketchy at first glance, but don't let that stop you. I'd definitely still give this place a chance. Once inside, they fully commit to the boat theme, which I actually really enjoyed. It's nautical and fun. We were greeted pretty quickly when we walked in. Our group ordered half-shell oysters, baked Cajun oysters, a shrimp po' boy, and a catfish po' boy. The baked Cajun oysters were my favorite and all of us unanimously agreed the fries were some of the best we've had in a while. Perfectly crispy. The shrimp and catfish in the po' boys were deep-fried with a classic cornmeal breading. It was pretty standard, but satisfying. One unexpected and cool touch is that they serve beer... and soju. I've never seen soju at a seafood/Cajun/crab boil spot before, so that was a fun surprise and a nice change from the usual drink options. Overall, a solid experience with good food, friendly service, and a memorable theme. Even if the outside makes you hesitate, it's worth checking out.

When I came up to the place it wasn't a sit down place to eat, but that you have to order which was confusing as there were a lot of other restaurants within the small space. And I place my order as it was Wednesday dollar day for wings so I order wings. I had the parmesan garlic, lemon pepper. Let me tell you they were so good, the wait was too long but worth the wait. Our server Tyler, was excellent--super attentive and answered all of my aunt's questions about the food and the place with patience and detail. My first visit here was for the Elite Event, and I enjoyed it overall--except for the salsa verde, which was too salty. My aunt ordered the Empanada Costena and the Calamari to start. She absolutely loved the empanada, and everyone agreed the salsa verder could use a little less salt. The calamari, on the other hand, was delicious--crispy and flavorful. I couldn't get enough! For my main course, I went with the grilled Tilapia from the Mambo Classis set menu, paired with a salad. It was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor--I finished every bite. The rest of my party orders Grilled snapper, Mambo Fried Fiesta and the Sliced Sautéed Octopus. Everyone enjoy their meals and the portions were so generous that they even had left overs. It was a totally pleasant lunch experience for all of us and we'll surely be visiting again.
