I almost always get the same thing whenever I visit a Sea Island and this time was no different. The Lot 'O' Shrimp never fails to satisfy. Crispy breading on plump shrimp dipped in tangy cocktail sauce is the way to go. A hefty side of French Fries, delicious Southern Green Beans, and fluffy Hush Puppies go excellently alongside them. Our server Tyler, was excellent--super attentive and answered all of my aunt's questions about the food and the place with patience and detail. My first visit here was for the Elite Event, and I enjoyed it overall--except for the salsa verde, which was too salty. My aunt ordered the Empanada Costena and the Calamari to start. She absolutely loved the empanada, and everyone agreed the salsa verder could use a little less salt. The calamari, on the other hand, was delicious--crispy and flavorful. I couldn't get enough! For my main course, I went with the grilled Tilapia from the Mambo Classis set menu, paired with a salad. It was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor--I finished every bite. The rest of my party orders Grilled snapper, Mambo Fried Fiesta and the Sliced Sautéed Octopus. Everyone enjoy their meals and the portions were so generous that they even had left overs. It was a totally pleasant lunch experience for all of us and we'll surely be visiting again.
