I purchased six sessions of laser removal treatments from Groupon and I didn't miss any sessions since the first treatment. Amore makes my next appointment after the treatment and reminds me through email and phone calls prior to the treatment. Moreover, Amore opens on Saturdays and it's been no problem scheduling my appointment every six weeks for the consecutive six treatments. As for the laser treatment, Megan provides great service!! She is so sweet and very nice. I don't feel very much pain or discomfort during the treatment (Brazillian). I really recommend Amore Laser! read more

I was looking for a clinic closer to my home and this place came highly recommended from a friend. I have gone for my first session recently. I thought the decor was comfortable and tasteful. I was greeted by the front staff as well as the owner. My consultation was thorough and informative. I learned more from the staff here than I did at the previous business. I have had several treated areas in the past with much success in either no hair growth or a large reduction. I have decided to receive treatments on my upper and lower legs and expect a substantial reduction. I look forward to the results from my first session. I bought a groupon a year ago & had 6 treatments to my chin. My last treatment was in december. I'm not hair free & I kind of knew I wouldn't be. I have pcos, and as a result I have to shave everyday even after treatments. The staff was nice, facility was clean though. The hair on my chin is just as bad as it was before the treatments. After the 3-4 treatment hair did break off and I was shaving once every week instead of day which was fantastic! But if you have pcos be warned. Not everyone has the same results I suppose. read more

I like this place, good prices, clean. I've been doing laser hair removal and it has been working. They start out on a lower setting and gradually increase the power so you don't get burnt. It hurts for a second and then goes away. Laser hair removal has not been as painful as waxing. The staff is polite and professional. read more

Purchased my original 6 sessions via a very reasonably priced groupon and am very satisfied with my results. So quick and easy and I find that most of the girls are easy to talk to. Because of my busy schedule I haven't been Able to keep to one technician and have been moved around a bit and although some technicians were better and more thorough than others, I have never had a truly negative experience there. After having such great results with my bikini line, I have purchased another six sessions for my reverse bikini (the managers were super accommodating about working with me to build a perfect blend between my hairless bikini line and my work-in-progress reverse). My only advice is to be patient with the results, hair reduction doesn't happen over night and I have had better results on one laser machine than the other. read more

I just finished my 6 treatments of bikini hair removal and LOVED it - which says something when you're getting zapped in sensitive places. ;) My treatment has absolutely worked - I felt sort of silly shaving again before this last visit because there was next to nothing to shave. I've had (I think) all of their technicians and all of them are thorough and so friendly. I just bought one of their specials for my husband to get the back of his neck done. Like so many others, I got a 6 session package through Groupon and used it for my underarms. Six treatments was enough, and I love not having to shave! I had no problems making appointments, rescheduling, or being reminded of my appointments. They were very forgiving the time I completely forgot. Oops! The facilities are clean and well cared for, although not super stylish. Parking is a bit odd - 4 skinny spots directly in front of their building, but I usually had the first appointment of the day, so no competition. It does sting! On the other hand, you can console yourself with donuts from Shipley's right next door afterwards. Do remember that it works poorly on blond or grey hairs, so if you have a mixture of light and dark in any area, those light hairs are going to be with you. read more

I have to agree with the other reviews....clean, no nonsense, expected results. My gripe is It is so quick and impersonal ~ I also feel just like a number there. Too bad, I have found lots of great companies through Groupon that I have continued to use. I doubt I'll pay to go back to them without a Groupon. I'd rather go somewhere that appreciates all their clients. Update: After my review I went back for 2 last treatments of my package. There was new staff and they were friendly. I have been going to Amore Laser for about four treatments now for my Brazilian. I first heard of them through Groupon and thought it was a good deal. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They always ask if I have questions and are pretty fast at doing the treatments. The only complaint that I have is that I go to another business to get my armpits lasered and they do not ask that you tip. With laser being pretty expensive it would be nice not to have to tip on top of everything. read more

Pros: -If I arrived 10-15 minutes early, they'd get me in within minutes even though my appointment wasn't til later. -The techs are really nice, professional yet personable! -My arm pit hair thinned -Never had any bad side effects. Cons: -Laser treatment works best on light skin but I'm more of a caramel color. Susan said 6 treatments would be enough for me but when I was gearing towards the end of my treatment, the tech said 6 wasn't enough. So I feel like I was lied to just to keep a customer. The tech was right, 6 treatments wasn't enough. My hair is still there, just thinned out. -Restroom is gross. Overall, my experience was okay. Like others, I went to Amore with a Groupon for six sessions of treatments, so I am currently having my underarms treated. My first session hurt pretty badly, but they changed my laser type and I am longer having no pain issues. I saw results within a couple of weeks from my first session that has progressed with each treatment. I am confident that by session six, there will be no more shaving required in those areas. I think my results are good because I am fair skinned and underarm treatment has a pretty high success rate. The staff is friendly enough, helpful, and efficient. Super speedy in and out; I've never waited more than 5 minutes to get in. Treatment has always taken 15 minutes or less for a small area. After 5 treatments, I'm seeing great results. I've decided to get another area treated because the first area worked so well. Definitely better results than the first time I tried laser hair removal, which was at a fancy doctor's office and cost at least 5X the price. read more

i came by way of amore laser by groupon. i have had laser hair removal treatments before. so, i was a little weirded out that amore is in the gallery of salons in northcross mall. these are just booths, with walls and doors, of course. They also have windows and walls that don't connect to the ceiling, so it feels really open, exposed. But, whatever, I had decided to give it a try. So I go in and everyone is really friendly and I'm instantly more comfortable. Sarah walked me to another booth, really nice, clean, private, perfect. She walked me through the process without making me feel like an idiot for being nervous about the pain. She took off my make-up, which I could have totally done myself. She treated the area very carefully and closely. She joked with me, which really helped get my mind off the pain. afterwards she applied aloe and sunscreen. she reminded me of the aftercare instructions, even though i had received an instruction sheet when i signed in. she double-checked my next appointment, changed it, and wrote out reminders. She told me about the specials they have going on and when they'd expire. She answered all my questions and was really friendly. I had a really great experience. read more

I wish they offered more services such as Botox, fillers etc. but they do offer additional services that involve laser - obviously. Sarah is a great tech and was very friendly and responsive to my concerns and requests throughout the process, and amazingly their machine made brazilian less painful than when I had underarms done at another establishment. A friend recommended Amore to me and I'm so glad. Amore has been great. I've had three bikini treatments so far. I bought a great Groupon deal, and for a little extra upgraded to a Brazilian. I was nervous the first time, but they really put you at ease. They explain everything you need to know about the procedure. How the lasers work. What results to expect after each visit. What to do and not do before and after, like avoiding sun exposure the week before your appointment, for example. The first time I did not use any numbing cream and it was pretty painful. But she did it as fast as possible and made me as comfortable as possible. They're good at talking and distracting you when they get to the parts that hurt the most. They are very professional. I've been surprised how comfortable I've felt in such a potentially embarrassing situation. Since my first visit, I've used numbing cream and it is a little better. Still not as pain-free as I'd like, but it's worth it. I think everyone is different when it comes to pain, though. I can't wait to finish my treatments (even with the pain). This summer it's going to be so great to not have to worry about how my bikini area looks before I throw on a swimsuit. I'm considering getting more areas treated at Amore. I would definitely recommend Amore to a friend. read more

I went in today for my 2nd Brazilian laser treatment and my Tech was Devon. She is and was very sweet, informative and very friendly through out my 2 experiences. She's very professional keeps you up to date with the deals and keeps a casual conversation through out the treatment in order to make you comfortable and relaxed. Which in my case helps a lot since getting Brazilian is not the most comfortable. She is always well prepared for my appointments. I was always unsure about getting Brazilian laser treatment since the waxing hurts like a snitch. But Devon keeps a check and makes sure that i am comfortable through out the appointment. All people there from the receptionist to Lisa the laser consultant /manager are extremely friendly and very helpful. Great work you guys keep it up and come up with more discounts. I think I will opt for underarms in the future - i.e if a good offer comes by :) read more

Best experience I've had with laser hair removal! I'm fairly dark skinned and was very apprehensive about getting laser hair removal as my first experience was very painful. The laser was very effective and it hardly even hurt! I got several areas done and after the 3rd treatment started seeing amazing results. I didn't buy the Groupon and just call them directly. Locations is a little hard to locate but look for Shipley's and you're golden! Staff is nice and personable and explains the before and after care. My results so far have made me very happy. I started with my armpits because I always had a dark shadow even after shaving and never felt secure. After 1 session I noticed a significant decrease in hair. After 2 I'm so amazed can't wait to finish my treatment. At my last appt I bought sessions to do a small area and I'm impressed again.
