Nothing too crazy she was kind and got me out of there swiftly. My friend however worked with two other women, whose names I cannot recall right now. Everything was great. Until we were about to pay and they kept asking for tip. I understand everyone has to make their money. But they were heckling us because it wasn't a good tip or up to their standards. Tipping is completely optional and if anything it's received when a good service is done. They didn't cut my cuticles or massage my hands or do anything out of the ordinary to which they should received a tip. It's unprofessional and unpleasant to experience this. I called this nail salon to see if they could do a simple acrylic nail take off. The person on the phone said yes to come at 6pm which was about 45 mins away from when I called. Upon arrival, I stood at the front for about 5 mins before someone noticed I was even there. After that a lady came up to me and asked if I had an appointment and I said yes I had called to book for 6pm. There were 2 nail techs there. One of them was with a lady and her daughter and the other was doing nails separately. After about 40 mins of one of the techs looked at me and looked at the younger girl who still needed her nails done. The girl offered the lady to do my take offs which was so kind of her to do. While sitting I told the nail tech next time please don't tell us to come in at a certain time if you guys don't have the staff to support. She said sorry 1 lady was sick and 1 quit or something. I said I understand but please next time don't waste our time too you could've just said were busy come back another time or something. Im a mom and I scheduled this time specifically to fit in my schedule. The older nail tech seemed kinda overwhelmed and kind of with an attitude. I came in for a Brazilian, underarm and half leg wax. This place uses soft wax which shocked me because I have never had soft wax for my Brazilian area before. The underarm and half leg wax were done completely fine but the Brazilian was a nightmare. Not only was it painful because my skin wasn't held taut while the wax strip was removed, but I was left with bruising afterwards. I still have 20-30% of hair still on too. This was probably the worst experience I have ever experienced I did tip my waxer because she kept apologizing and she was really sweet but I DO NOT recommend this place for Brazilian. Meh. My regular nail tech at another salon was on vacation, so I tried this place since parking and availability were plentiful. The reviews looked good too, but I was not impressed by the nail tech and the service I received. I asked for hard gel with silver ombre cat eye on a royal blue base. What I got looked like a beginner's attempt - the ombre was not an ombre - it was like someone dipped my nails into silver sparkle gel, without a fade (no sponges used for an ombre look) and there was no cat eye effect at all. And yes, I showed a photo of what I wanted done before she started. In addition, there were only two nail techs working, and although I had an appointment, I wasn't seen until 20 minutes later. Wow, I typically don't write negative reviews but this place was awful. My mom and I came in for a gel and hard gel appointment and it started and ended poorly. First off, the nail tech looked at me like I was crazy when I told her I'm here for hard gel. I guess she only knows builder gel. Anyway, throughout the manicure service she kept efiling aggressively, yanking my hand toward her, and scraping excess polish and gel from my cuticles with her own nails like she was trying to cut me or something. My mom's service with her nail tech was just as bad. Her gel color is flooded into her cuticles and it looks like a toddler did it. Afterwards, she asked about 7 times if I wanted to leave a tip. I booked an appointment for Gel Pedicure (1 hour as per the website) but it was completed in 30 minutes. I got my gel pedi done by Rose. Was upsold to a higher priced pedicure-the lemon one, was just looking for paraffin wax to be included. It was included on all pedicures except the express pedi. I was charged $69 for the lemon pedi and an additional $12 for the paraffin wax, I decided to add eyebrows and a body waxing service - not sure if it was a language barrier or her unwillingness to do the job or the wax wasn't hot enough. I took one star off for how long this took... I was there for over 2 hours and 3 different people did my fill. One did some of the filing when I was in the chair for a pedicure, then she moved to help someone else, then the one who did my pedicure did my fill, then the owner took over to finish painting. I have no cuts or abrasions but my feet feel soft and my toes look great! Tiffany did my builder gel set, she was very meticulous in getting the base set up and the shaping. The design was a challenge, she let me know it wouldn't be exactly the same. But she tried really hard and got it super close it looks awesome!
