Asked for anchovies on my salad and got sardines. Stuffed shells were ok but no seasoning. Don't waste your money.

Grabbed a cheese slice and a pepperoni roll with a side of marinara sauce. Both were solid, the slices undercarriage was cooked perfectly, the amount of cheese could be better but the slice was solid. It can hang with most places downstate in NYC and LI. The pepperoni roll was good, only negative was the amount of garlic used. I will be repelling all the vampires in the area from West Point, no getting bit tonight. The side of sauce was ok, just a plain marinara sauce not much seasoning added. Overall a solid experience and would definitely visit again. Just next time might avoid the rolls due to the garlic. I like garlic but this was just too much. The ambiance was fine, easy listening music in the background and the tables were fine.

But inside is very nice now. Our order was perfect and had no issues. The pizza is a 10 out of 10. So good and has a nice crunchy crust. As for the soup, I'll give it a six out of 10. Only because it really didn't have much seasoning or flavor to it. But everything was hot to order and we picked it up. As long as this place is here, I'm gonna stop in.

Delicious and return visit worthy. For our second visit, the family now included an infant. While we had no reservation, at 5:15 pm the joint was empty with the exception of a single table of 3. Literally within seconds of walking in, we were promptly turned away. No checking the book. Nearly zero engagement with us. Just a curt, "We're completely booked. But you can eat at our sister location next door." Yeah. No. Our money and generous tipping habits went instead to Cosimo's where families are not just welcomed, but treated with care and consideration. We highly recommend the same for other families.

As one native United States of American and one ethnic first generation Indian, we were awestruck by the amicability and kind heartedness of the wait staff. However it took them very long to take orders and were not attentive. It was a Saturday night so they may have just been busy. Moving towards the food now, it is difficult to keep a pleasant humor even thinking about it. The scallops and artichokes were an enigma. The taste of neither the scallops nor the artichokes bore any resemblance to what anyone with a brain and a functioning palette would even begin to think they tasted like. I didn't even want to eat them and scallops are my favorite food. Personally I think it was breading on the scallops but whatever it was I will never repurchase. A symphony in blending flavor and artistic nuance. They were terrible but well presented. As for the mains. The ravioli was incredible, a religious experience, even. Except for the edges which were horrendous. I am a patient woman, having grown up in the proud nation of Uzbekistan, but even I could not begin to fathom what happened to the edges. They were pretty hard unless it was supposed to be al dente then it was impeccably done. Hats off. Overall the cheese ravioli was definitely the best meal we had all night. What can I even say about the pesto pasta with grilled chicken. For over 20 dollars, I was thoroughly let down. The pasta gave me the impression of reinforced concrete, both in presentation and in texture. It was a challenge eating it. On further analysis, the reason it hurt so much is because of what could have been. In a closer examination of the sauce and the pasta itself, I saw glimpses of greatness. Untapped potential that turned what was frankly just a bad dish into one of the greatest sorrows of my life. The texture was very hard and the chicken lacked any form of seasoning and the color blended in with a pasta and seems baked rather than grilled. It brings me no joy to write all of this. But it must be said. 10/10 would totally recommend to friends for the vibes and ambience but 3/10 for food with price. Wait time was a bit much but it's okay.

I drove over to Cold Spring with the idea of going to La Bouchon but alas it was closed! Instead driving down Main Street I spy Cathryn's. It's like 9:25PM and I see that they're scheduled to close at 10. So in I go! I'm greeted so nicely and have my pick of a nice table in the front room. It's a quiet night. The table is in a warm cozy spot. Uncharacteristically I order a Prosecco. I really haven't been drinking. I quickly order the soup of the day,,,lentils. The house bread comes, it's light and delicious. The soup follows and it is just perfect. I also ordered the seared duck breast with seasonal vegetables broccolini and carrots with mashed potatoes. The duck follows the soup...it's a nice portion of sliced duck. With a delicious berry sauce. I eat slowly. Been following this method of chewing my food slowly and thoroughly. Towards the end of my dinner I engage a delightful couple at a nearby table. I find out it's Cathryn herself with her husband Mark. We talk Wall Street shop and about the new Archbishop in NYC. Mark has had an incredible career, and he gives me a thumbnail rundown, but I'd love to hear more! We exchange numbers and promise to keep in touch! Just a perfect serendipitous meeting! Perfect way to end my meal They explain that they'll be doing extensive renovations. New kitchen and relocating the bar up to this front room, so they'll be closing for some months. Sounds like a great plan for a great restaurant!

Which for 3 reasons is completely wrong 1. allergies. he doesn't know me and what i could possibly be allergic to. 2. If you want your pasta sauce to stick to the pasta then putting olive oil on it is not the way to go 3. If i had wanted that i would have asked. Waiter did not ask and took it upon himself to do it. Another flaw is the owner. Very nice man but talks a lot while you dine. Customer service is appreciated greatly but while i'm trying to eat it would be nice to keep the conversation to my guest and I. The straw that broke the camels back was when i had ordered a pizza for delivery. I got my pizza and when i opened the box a german cockroach crawled out from under the pie. I do know that most places have some kind of roaches so this was not something that would stop me from going there although I think a further inspection of delivery items would be nice. Like I said the food is great and I will continue to eat here. Room for improvement but already a really great place.
