The owner was very accommodating for my group's large party. The intimate restaurant opens up to a fun bar with live music and dancing as the night goes on. The salmon was cooked well and paired nicely with the Sancerre. My only qualm was that the dirty martinis were served with black olives.

First off -- in my opinion and experience -- Amour in WeHo gets 3 stars. The place is absolutely beautiful aesthetically. The decor is elegant, colorful, and romantic, with vines on the walls and soft, dim lighting that create a lovely atmosphere. The vibe is definitely one of its strongest points. Unfortunately, the food was a different story. While the French onion soup was excellent, everything else we ordered was disappointing. The organic chicken creamy stew had chewy chicken and the sauce was completely bland -- no flavor at all. My son ordered the creamy lobster tagliatelle, and it was so off that it didn't even taste like lobster -- more like fish. To make matters worse, our server barely checked on us the entire night. We didn't even get a water refill, while the couple at the table next to us had their server stop by multiple times to check in and make sure everything was perfect. I really don't like to bring up race, but the difference in treatment was noticeable and hard to ignore. I chose not to make a scene since it was my daughter's 24th birthday and I wanted her night to feel special. But overall, it was a disappointing experience -- beautiful setting, but the service and food didn't live up to it.

Charming French restaurant with friendly staff, perfect for an intimate dinner/date night. We came on a rainy day with newly installed tents that weren't truly keeping the outdoor patio entirely dry. Every few seconds a raindrop would plop onto our booth and the tables of other guests, and although the staff apologized and were very kind, there wasn't really anything anyone could do and it was unfortunate. The cocktails were impeccable! Lovely concoctions that packed a punch. Dinner: * Caviar Service 8/10 * Tagliatelle au homard 100/10 (Insanely delicious creamy lobster pasta) * Filet de boeuf 8/10 * Sautéed Mushrooms 10/10 * Crème brûlée 9/10

Had a lovely dinner at Amour. We started with the goat cheese salad, which was fresh and well-balanced. For mains, we had the lobster tagliatelle and duck breast--both delicious, but the real star was the carrot purée that came with the duck. So good. Dessert was a showstopper: the crème brûlée literally came out on fire. The presentation throughout the night was top-notch, though the food did take a while. But hey, that's authentically French, right? Worth the wait. Would definitely come back for a date night. The ambience was so romantic

The chef is amazing. Service is stellar! French to a T. Special thanks to Sandra, the general manager who is very hands on and Quentin for being so attentive.

Let me talk about the great stuff first! The decor, the ambiance, the architecture were all lovely and cozy. Love the air and plant, it was very French and inviting. The wait staff were wonderful, friendly, and attentive. There was a live singer on a Friday night. The songs were great and entertaining, but too loud in order to have a good time going out with friends trying to have a conversation. That finished and the low bosanova came on and it was MUCH better. Now the food: there were 6 of us and all of us said our food was mediocre, and that was sad compared to the price we paid for it. Our drinks were great, but sadly the food was lackluster. I might come again though, because it was such a cute place.

The vibes here! Such a cool and very LA type of space. The food is presented very nicely too. Service was super friendly and attentive. We came here for a prix fixe brunch for Mother's Day and enjoyed it overall. The plates are not excessive and are refined smaller portions. The cod was perfectly cooked! The braised beef as slightly overcooked and a little tough but the gravy that it came in was delicious. A little more on the expensive side but cool space if you're looking for a vibe!

Birthday dinner at Amour was delightful. My most favorite dish was onion soup, which was very tasty and well balanced. Lobster pasta was good. I love pasta sauce and how they perfectly cooked lobster meat so it was very tender and juicy. However, the pasta noodle itself was somewhat mediocre. Fried frog legs and mussels were nice too but nothing special. Salmon didn't smell good. It's also dried and tasteless so we barely finished it. Ambience and service were good. Overall I would give 8/10 for everything.

The good: The design, the vibes, location, Stunning outdoor patio The bad: Prices - but that's just LA right now So let's be clear here this review is based on expected value for cost and at a $376 bill for 2 people with 2 cocktails each - this new French stunner is just a bit too pricey without the taste to back it up. They also didn't have tap water meaning 2 bottles of flat water also added $20 to this bill plus a mandatory 4% wellness charge. Everything here was a bit bland, the standouts were the steak tartare, the Amuse bouche, Asparagus Tartare and cocktails. The misses? Blue Prawn Carppaccio and all the mains. Steak was underwhelming, potatoes were too salty, and the dessert was nothing to write home about. Overall - I'd come here to meet a group of gorgeous people on the edge of WeHo for some cocktails and appetizers but save your money on a full meal. This is a STUNNING patio as well great for a date - so if the weather is good take advantage of that for sure.

Food was great, ambience was beautiful, and staff was kind and friendly! We ordered the lobster tagliatelle, mussels, burrata salad, and the crème brûlée--- all were great!

Celery root carpaccio was the best for me. Folx loved it. The music was good, however too loud. We had a "quiet" table but it was hard for us to hear from each other. There was intense incense smell throughout like we walked into an incense store. These things were remedied to the degree possible with the help of the lovely amazing hosts. I moved the intense stick that I didn't realize was right at our table. I thought it was coming out of the A/C ! And they turned down the music some. Lower music would grant the fifth star. Strange comment: our server wore nylon gloves in black (like nurses do). It's a fancy french kinda place so I get the gloves, totally, I would just make them cloth.

Good food, poor service. Service started great, but as soon as we informed our server that we did not want to consume alcohol, his demeanor completely changed. More over, when we inquired about some items we saw other people posted on Yelp, as well as asking if they offer any complimentary bread (which we were told it's an $8 charge), our French server was very rude and disconnected from our party. We even had to ask for our water pitcher to be refilled but felt our server was inattentive. On the other hand, the atmosphere was really nice, but also questionable on why the music was SOO loud for such a fine dining establishment. It was Phil Collins music blasted at one point. Food was cooked very well, I definitely recommend the Tagliatelle au homard (creamy lobster sauce & lobster tail) which had a generous portion of lobster and creamy sauce. My friend enjoyed his Magret de canard roti (roasted duck breast sauce rum orange & carrot puree) which was cooked perfectly. If you're feeling adventurous, we tried the Fried Frog Legs which was had an interesting taste but it was nicely served with garlic herbs mayonnaise on the side which paired well. For dessert, we got the Profiteroles (crispy choux, vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce & pistachio) which was clean and well balanced. Overall, I'm not sure if I'd come back as we felt a bit unwelcomed, but the food and atmosphere definitely makes this a nice dinner for a date.
