We had sliders, tomato bisque, and beef hash with eggs. Everything was incredibly good. It all came out hot. The sliders had grilled onions, and the meat was nicely seasoned. The hash was so delicious; it might be the best I've ever had. Overall, it was a great experience with attentive, helpful service in a fun and clean Irish bar. I will come back here again!

Ground floor can be packed at weekday lunch or after 4 PM- lots of commuter traffic. Bar and restaurant in back serves an eclectic menu and is NOT just pub grub. We have ordered fish and upscale Italian here, which was tasty and fresh! Service can be slow either when it is packed or, strangely, when mostly empty, but usually is fine and unrushed. If I had outta town folks in the neighborhood, this would be my go to for a down- to-earth good value and tasty meal.

Service is "professional" though I wouldn't say very friendly and as others have said more transactional. They politely offer you orange juice or grapefruit juice as you sit, not indicating it's almost $10 for a small glass. During our stay in NY we ate at Michelin rated restauarants which were cheaper than this!! If you can get over the prices, the food is actually pretty good. They know how to cook their eggs very and the basic egg can be a tricky thing to get right at some places.

I was glad that the waitress at the bar downstairs was really friendly and gave me directions to take the elevator up to the rooftop. I didn't realize this pub was shared with another pub next door. The elevators was located in between the 2 pubs. While getting to the elevator, it seems there was an attendant that brought guests up on the cozy little elevator. Though, there were no attendants later in the day. The waitress mentioned I could bring my glass up with me to the roof. So I did. Overall, I enjoyed my time overlooking the busy street while sipping my beer.

I even had to flail my arms just to get the tab and I can tell that it's their routine to ignore a certain demographic. I was only here because my friend had to meet up with my work colleagues so I thought I would grab a seat at the bar and enjoy a quick burger before heading out for birthday festivities. The burger and fries were good and the rooftop is nice. I have no desire to return but it's probably what they want.

Parker's is located at the back of the ground floor in the Thompson hotel. The wait can be variable - on a Thursday morning, we believe it was a lot of conference goers and had to wait about 10-15 minutes. On Friday the next day, there was no wait at all. As a heads-up, finding the wait list was a bit confusing as there isn't a front desk to check-in and had to just ask around with the wait staff on where to go. On the pro side, the area is gorgeous. It benefits from the sleek and modern decor of the Thompson and a skylight that can beam the sunshine right into the dining area. And the furniture is comfy. We also had mostly nice wait staff who were helpful and tried to provide good service to us. Let's get to some of the more critical pieces of feedback. On our second day there, the wait time was long for our food. It seems to come from one central kitchen along with other items in the kitchen and took about a 30-40 minute wait. This included getting our juice, and our waiter forgetting items like honey or juice that we had ordered a while back. We had to flag down different waiters to get other items like straws as well. Let's talk the food as well. The food overall is underseasoned/bland and/or meager in portion size. We had the breakfast sandwich that didn't really include any sauce with the meal, no seasoning on the egg, and overly burnt buns. We also had the avocado toast which was super small for the price being paid. And the oatmeal alone was uninspiring. We had to order a separate fruit plate to help add flavor along with ordering honey. It came with raisins and brown sugar which felt insufficient. The juices at least were from Pressed, and the cappuccino was okay. Breakfast averaged about $60 for two. We luckily had hotel credit the first two days we were there, but we wouldn't go back if we had to just pay out of pocket. Overall, again, we were very disappointed by our meals overall here.
