IPA, don't recall which one (first one on the list), was cold and crisp just the way an IPA should be. People are friendly and prices are fair. I plan to go back once the virus rules are lifted. This was a cute place. Came here mid week with a friend for an event and I liked the décor and space. A live jazz band was playing which always classes a place up. We only got to try one drink (since that was what was free lol) and it was okay. It wasn't quite to my taste but it wasn't bad. I'd try it out again if I was in the area though I think some of the neighbors aren't happy about it as when we were leaving two girls walked passed and commented on how they hated that this new bar was here and liked what was here before better. read more

Spoke to them ahead of time to store the cake in their fridge and cut it around midnight. As it happens, the girlfriend is popular and too many of her friends show up. So we choose to hang at the bar instead of using the table. Everyone is drinking, probably way more than they should. Close to midnight, I talk to the server to ensure we can cut the cake at about midnight. Apparently, since we no longer have a table, we can no longer cut the cake. And no, we cannot cut it at the bar, and we cannot use a small table (which is available). Truly bizarre, after we've spent hundreds of dollars at this place. Find our way out of there in double quick time to Whiskey Social a couple of doors down where they are super nice and accommodating. Saves the evening! read more

This place had a decent vibe to it and somewhere I wanted to enjoy. But, there were a few turnoffs and just can't give it a solid rating. It was a sauna, for one. I was immediately damp just walking through the door. The bartenders must have been worse off than me, for sure, so it was pretty gross to see one of the mixers obsessively run his hands through his hair while he made drinks. Wash hands in between? Nah! We orders popcorn to snack on. The flavor would have been great if we were eating what felt to be a week old popcorn. Our waitress was really nice and prompt. The drinks were pretty good. I don't generally hand out too many five star reviews, but Analogue has become my go to bar over the past month or so. It's somewhat of a jazz themed bar with a warm and classy atmosphere. Whisky selection is great and the bartenders make some seriously good cocktails. Drinks aren't cheap, but it's not that kind of place. This is your bar for the late twenties to early thirties crowd who know there is a world beyond jack and cokes and Jaeger shots. Bar staff is friendly enough, but spend enough time here and hopefully you'll meet the owners. I spent a good hour last Saturday chatting with them about everything from vacuum tube stereo equipment to vintage Porsches. Nice spot. I came in on a Friday night with my girlfriend to grab a drink and wasn't disappointed. Honestly may have had the best Old Fashioned I've had in years. Just went tonight and barely in the door and was asked to remove my hat, a pinch brim cap and not a baseball cap. I get that they have a dress code, it was cold and I still had on my coat, scarf and gloves. If given a minute they would have noticed that I had a tie and a jacket on. The guy at the door just didn't give off a very welcoming feeling, and I find it contradictory that I'm being judged and instructed on proper etiquette in a city where we are being welcomed by overly tattooed and questionably styled hosts. We had a birthday party at this bar, and rented the back-room for that. The celebration went perfect, in fact, it was unforgettable! First, the location of the bar is quite convenient and it is in a pretty neighborhood. Second, the interior of the bar as well as its atmosphere are upscale. Third, we had our own space for the private occasion, and it was amazing. A large tastefully decorated room with beautiful furniture, carpets, pictures, and a soft light. What's more, we had our own bar with a bartender! Our guests didn't have to line up for a drink. The drinks, by the way, were great - both the wines and cocktails! H'ordeuvres were served unobtrusively - the waiters just put them on the tables so that the guests could have easy access to the food. The snacks were delicious - both vegetarian and meat. I loved the little ham-cheese sandwiches! The background music (jazz) was tender and quiet, which is a rare thing in new york's bars. The event organizers did a great job lighting up and serving the b-day cake. The bar managers were very respectful and attentive to us and our guests and made the event as pleasant and enjoyable as possible! My special cordial "Thank you" to Evan! Arrived at 9 PM on Thursday night. The hostess offered us seats at the bar. We had jackets and asked if they could be hung on the coat rack. We were the only 2 coats on the rack. At 10 PM we went to leave and my jacket was gone. The hostess just said oh really and the manager lacked any empathy. He said you left your jacket at your own risk, not our responsibility. He could have at least offered to buy a drink, but nothing. Pretty much said it was my fault. We got there around 7pm on a Monday and the front was pretty packed and all booths were reserved but we snagged 2 stools at the end of the bar. There's plenty of seating in the back too, but it's pretty dark and farther away from the jazz. The menu was extensive and full of classics and pretty much any spirit you're in the mood for. The manager made it very clear that they didn't appreciate the fact that the majority of my friends were Indian.
