We went for cocktail hour and it didn't not disappoint. The view was beautiful. The drinks price was average for NYC. Brandon the bartender was lovely, and friendly. Definitely coming back for the drinks and the view.

We had such an amazing experience. Mark was our server and Elvin was our bartender. I can't believe we haven't been here before but we will be back soon.

Not a fan. $25 cocktails served in a plastic cup? What the hell is this? Nice views of Hoboken and parts of Manhattan. Located on the top floor of Hotel Hugo.

While it is lacking in terms of available space, food, and drinks, come here for it with amazing views. If you want a great rooftop bar that gives you an excellent view of the financial district as well as Jersey, this is it. Several of us came here a few nights ago to enjoy a great view while the weather was nice in New York City. This is pretty far away from any close subway stations, but if you have the opportunity come here, I definitely would for the views alone.

Absolutely beautiful space with sweeping views of Manhattan with a nice small balcony. Great and delicious craft cocktails- super inventive mixes. We ordered from the bar so I can't really comment on table service. A must visit for great drinks and views

Drinks were great! They have some really fun pitcher options. Aesthetic and outdoor seating options are great. Service was about as slow as my grandma trying to run a marathon. View is epic.

Nice Staff, good food and beautiful views!!

This bar is perfect for sunset. You can enjoy the fabulous view while relaxing on a couch and drinking a rum punch. They offer a variety of cocktails, wine, and light bites. Its a great place for to get friends together and just relax on a nice summer day.

We went for a late nightcap. Incredible views, cozy seating, and attentive staff. The only downside were the hard plastic used for drinks rather than glass.

Great view of wtc and the Hudson River. The rooftop bar is different from the hotel bar. Drinks are pricey but very well made. We had the blood orange cosmopolitan and the passion fruit moonshine. Both were excellent and fruity. Easy to get into, non pretentious and a mixed crowd of older hotel guests and millenials.

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol. Before we left we watched one of the bartenders do a cocktail "fire" presentation for some patrons in a booth seated area. Wow.... Paradise Lost accepts walk-ins only, no reservations. Paradise Lost accepts groups of 8 or less, unless you are requesting to book the space for a private event. Ages 21+ paradiselost.nyc @paradiselostnyc Paradise Lost is open everyday - 5pm-2am.

Dim lighting, plush seating, rich wood + wallpaper details, and that lounge-library vibe make the place feel like a secret hideout right in the middle of Midtown. It's moody, cozy, and effortlessly intimate -- perfect for a date night, a chill catch-up, or just a night out with good drinks. Nice service, too! However: be ready for the price tag. The cocktails are absolutely beautiful -- well crafted, creative, and flavorful -- but each one will remind you that you're not exactly paying dive-bar prices. It's worthwhile, but the "overpriced drinks" vibe absolutely hits. That said: the interior design and ambience are amazing. The mix of antique-meets-modern decor, low lighting, and comfy couches gives you that classic speakeasy romance. If you appreciate aesthetics and vibe over cheap drinks -- this is your spot. If you want a night out that feels deliberate and special rather than casual and cheap -- Osamil Upstairs delivers.

Tucked into the Financial District, this spot blends old New York history with some of the best cocktails in the city--and it's easy to see why it's been named "World's Best Bar" more than once. The name itself has a wild backstory, inspired by a notorious 19th-century Irish-American gang from Five Points. It adds a layer of character to the place, but what really keeps people coming back is the atmosphere and the drinks. The space is split into two levels: a two lively, sawdust-floored Taprooms downstairs and a more refined Parlor upstairs if you're in the mood for a quieter, cocktail-focused experience. Drinks are the real highlight here. The Irish Coffee is widely considered one of the best in the world--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with whiskey, coffee, and fresh cream. They also get creative with variations like a frozen version and even an Irish Coffee martini. If you want something different, the "Act Naturally" is a standout, mixing Irish whiskey with Guinness and fig in a way that works. Food is just as impressive for a bar. The lobster deviled eggs (topped with caviar) are a must-try, and the menu leans into elevated comfort food. Overall, The Dead Rabbit nails the balance between historic charm and modern cocktail excellence. The D.R. is one of those places that is never boring and consistently delivers.
