This place has been on my list for a while because of their lunch specials, all priced around $12. We happened to be nearby and hungry, so dinner it was. Service was excellent. Dimple-faced Duncan took great care of us, and even Maria (the manager, I think) came by to check on our table, which was a nice touch. I ordered two enchiladas, and they were just okay, but my husband's brisket chili relleno situation was very, very good. Also, the chips that came out hot from the fryer, paired with their smooth salsa, really hit the spot as soon as we sat down.

Above average Tex Mex, service needs work. Long periods of time without seeing or hearing from our server. Had to to ask for silverware, had to ask for limes twice, too forever finally got to the bar and got them myself, when the server came back she said they were out of limes and got lemons instead, we had to ask for some chips and salsa which weren't offerent to us but to everybody else. Never asked if we wanted more drinks etc.

Classic Tex Mex spot. We got a comfy booth that we loved in this cozy restaurant. Service was very good, server was helpful and fun! When they get busy, it can take time to see your server. Stuffed pepper was delicious but it was very spicy, so beware! Needed some sweet tea to cool down the heat . I recommend swapping the bean cup with black beans, which are very tasty. The slaw was okay. Arroz Verde is different and nice. We also tried the barrio bowl - like a typical burrito bowl - and it was pretty good, large portion and get extra avocado in place of cheese. The chicken enchiladas were unfortunately dry and that took away from the taste sadly. If you want spicy salsa with your chips, ask for the molcajete sauce!

Yarrett gave excellent customer service last week when I visited for dinner. Enjoyed a delicious taco salad, full of fresh vegetables and tasty seasonings. Nice, friendly atmosphere for couples and families. Look forward to my next visit.

Went in for some lunch today, and of greatly enjoyed the customer service from the moment I walked in the door till the moment I left. Employees held the door open for customers, along with constantly checking in with them, making sure that any questions were answered and making them feel like they were welcome. Establishment was very clean, and all staff looked very professional always love the food as it is delicious especially the chicken quesadillas which I devoured immediately cause I was starving lol

The ceviche looked so good we dove right in!...

Anamia's Tex Mex has a surprisingly fancy vibe! The ceviche and salsa were both cold, spicy, and super fresh. Chips were perfectly crisp, and the margarita--made with Patron Silver--was strong (maybe missing the triple sec, but I still got loopy, so no complaints ). Great spot overall!

This is Coppell's see and be seen restaurant. Excellent food always and the nicest servers. Service could be more attentive in the bar.

    $16 ceviche all onions. Pass

$16 for a ceviche with 3 tiny shrimp and mostly onions is very disappointing. I don't mind paying for quality but this is just robbery. Do better Ana Mias. Won't be back.

I went here this past Tuesday for lunch. I had the beef fajitas and sangria (shhhhh...don't tell my boss!). My meal and drink were delicious! The meat was tender, the veggies were cooked perfectly, and the chips and salsa for the table were addictive. My sangria got me right for a long afternoon. I knocked one star for the amount of meat I got and for the waitress. I had more onions than meat, and the waitress was truly on island time when we live in Dallas. The restaurant itself was very cute .

I arrived during the lunch rush, and both the parking lot and the restaurant were packed. Even though they were extremely busy, we were immediately greeted by a courteous and polite young man who quickly escorted us to a booth. We were seated in Ms. Maria's section, and she was a wonderful server. She greeted us with a warm smile, brought us menus along with the lunch menu, chips and salsa, and promptly served our water. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and was friendly, attentive, and very courteous throughout our meal. The chips and salsa were very good. My only suggestion would be to offer a salsa without cilantro for those who prefer it. We ordered the Create Your Own Combo Plate, which included a chicken flauta, a crispy taco, rice, and refried beans topped with cheese for $15.50. The taco was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, while the chicken flauta was covered in a flavorful red chile sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The rice and refried beans were seasoned perfectly and complemented the meal well. We also ordered the chimichanga, smothered in cheese sauce and served with rice and refried beans, for $16.00. It was well seasoned, delicious, and satisfying. The flavors weren't overpowering--they were balanced and enjoyable, making it a dish I would gladly order again. This was my first visit to Mi Dia From Scratch, and I came away very impressed. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the restaurant also offers a nice outdoor seating area. Between the excellent service and flavorful food, I will definitely be back. I hope you'll give it a try too!

At the bar, the bartender gave excellent service and convinced us to try a couple of tacos along with the yuca fries and plantains we originally planned to order--and I'm glad he did. The Tacos Al Carbón were outstanding: grilled fajita beef with sautéed poblano and onion on flour tortillas topped with pico de gallo and guacamole. The steak was tender and full of flavor. The beans and rice were just right, and the plantains with coconut sauce were a perfect addition. The bartender also recommended a Stone Delicious IPA, which made the short wait enjoyable. Now, that does leave a lot of unanswered questions, but I'll just assume everything is above board. Fajita vegetables and proteins come out smoldering on a plancha, can't really complain about that. As others have mentioned the chips are no longer made in house, and as a result have the kind of consistency you might expect from bagged tortilla chips. The inside is rather chaotic and could use renovations, however given the rock bottom prices, I suspect you can't have it both ways. Personally I would rather pay more and dine at Lupe's or Animia's, but that's not to say that Ole's is lacking. It serves a unique purpose as the spot you take your rather frugal acquittances or friends to, or as a destination when you already know you're picking up the tab for a large group and are not feeling very spendy. That being said I always default to the fajitas here, the other menu items are not at all bad, just not as strong and lack the same value proposition.

The manager also came and gave us free beef fajita samples since he found out it was our first time. The flavor and juiciness of the beef blew me away. My wife and I got queso to compliment the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa and bean dips. I was a big fan of the beans too, didn't think I would be. We ended up getting a trio (beef, chicken, shrimp) fajita 1/2 pound and it was perfect for the 2 of us. You can taste the grilled and charred flavor on the meats. The chicken and shrimp were slightly on the drier side but when combined with the sour cream, beans, guac, cheese, they were perfection. For the two people, the limitation ended up being more the toppings to the fajitas but it was just enough. At about $25 for 2, that was a steal. The queso was about $9. Right before we were about to leave, Kayla recommended the tres leches dessert and you know we had to try it. It was solid. Loved the cream on top. Definitely would come back again!

Living in Sioux Falls has many positives, but distinct and deeply flavorful Mexican cuisine is unfortunately still something that's a little harder to come by compared to places like Arizona or Texas. So, we made it a point to stop at Lupe Tortilla while passing through Irving. The first thing we noticed was how packed the restaurant was during lunch. People were pouring in steadily, and the atmosphere had that energetic local favorite feeling where you know people come because they genuinely enjoy the food. Thankfully, the meal itself delivered. Now, was it the absolute best Mexican food I've ever had? No. But it was still leagues beyond most of what we've experienced lately back home in South Dakota. The carne asada especially stood out. The portion was massive, tender, and packed with smoky, savory flavor. You could immediately tell it had actually spent some time on a grill instead of simply being rushed out of a kitchen. We also enjoyed the tacos, enchiladas, and burritos, all of which had that comforting Tex-Mex richness and seasoning that we've really missed. Unfortunately, we were on a fairly tight travel schedule and couldn't linger the way we would have liked. Honestly, this felt like the sort of place where you could easily sit awhile longer, enjoy another drink, sample more dishes, and just soak in the lively atmosphere. Still, even as a quick stop, it was a great experience and a delicious reminder of how much we miss the bold Mexican food culture of the Southwest.

Unfortunately, the service wasn't the best. Our server would leave for long periods and didn't check on us, even though she passed by our table multiple times and we clearly needed assistance. She also addressed us with very casual language like "yeah," which didn't feel very professional. That said, the food was excellent. Everything starting with the chips and salsa was great--the salsa was one of the best fresh salsas I've ever had. We also ordered the cheese quesadillas, and they were perfect in every way. My entrée was delicious as well; the cheese and meat were cooked perfectly, and the rice and beans were great. (I got the fajita Monterrey) Overall, the food was very tasty, but the service could definitely be more professional. Also, the menu is not very flexible--you can't substitute ingredients (like removing onions from the guacamole) or order off-menu items such as egg tacos, even though they have the ingredients.
