    Vive la resistance!

YoooooooooooooooOOOOooooo!!! This place is just... THE BEST! Ever since Frye's shutdown, I have been looking for an electronics store where you can buy individual components, but man oh man, that has been impossible! The worst part about this is that it wasn't showing up on Google and I never saw it. I mean, I typed in "Electronics" and it wasn't showing... what the heckers?! It's in the freaking name! Anyway, they have a super massive selection and it is awesome!! Aight, if you've ever been inside of Frye's, you wouldn't wonder for a second why they went out o business. They have the inventory of a tiny shoppe inside of a costco sized store. The rent MUST have been out of this world and you're selling things for like, 0.10$? How does this make sense? Anchor Electronics is really what Frye's should have been: all that inventory inside of a store that's 30 meters long and not 50 km! Madness! I bought so much junk like a kid in a candy store! It was perfect. This place is perfect. You're perfect. LuvYou! :D

I moved to the Bay Area in the late '80s as a computer engineer, and places like Fry's Electronics and Central Computer were my go-to hangouts. It's disheartening that they're all gone now. Recently, I needed an electronic part and discovered this store--the last of its kind in the Bay Area. Walking in was a bittersweet experience; the nostalgia was strong, but it was sad to see how small this last remaining store is now. The person who helped me was great, though she shared my sadness that this is the only remaining electronics store. Strangely enough, it's located near Nvidia--oh how I wish Nvidia would fund them to keep this last electronics store alive in Silicon Valley. What is a a Silicon Valley without an electronics store

(Enter the parking lot from Walsh) Remember to wear a mask! They DO enforce it! My husband was super happy to find this place because he was able to get his hard-to-find item: 5V 4A power supply! Store is super clean, tidy, and organized! The owner helped him and was friendly. It's great to have super knowledgeable women in the electronics industry!!

Also, they promised a date when the fan would be available, and I believed it. However, when the day came, they said they would need another few days. Using the computer was very important to me, so I got annoyed and switched to another place. At the new place, I was told the issue with my computer was because of a completely different reason, and they helped me repair it smoothly. Glad that the delay helped me avoid further loss with this unreliable KY electronics. Unfortunately, although the diagnosis result was a complete error. I was not refunded for the diagnosis fee. Edit: The business owner replied saying that my job was on May 29, 2024, which is completely false. I wasn't even at the Bay Area during that time. Either he intentionally mixed me up with someone else or simply made up the story. Apparently, I have no point of making up a negative review if being satisfied as the customer, but the business owner has full motivation to respond to negative reviews by making up stories when he cannot reasonably dispute it, and it seems he has been doing it for many other reviews as well.
