[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute coffee place with lots of seating and yummy coffee and matcha.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love their cute cups and portion size. We got an iced latte and a seasonal iced blueberry matcha. They were both delicious!

Anchorhead has become a favorite for me I look forward to their delicious coffee- usually order their nitro or just a cold brew . Their staff is always prompt and ordering is easy. When I'm not in the mood for coffee I live for their blueberry matcha!

Anchorhead is such a solid cafe if you're looking for yummy drinks and a cute place to study!! I thought it was a small cafe at first, but there's a lot more seating downstairs if you're okay with darker lighting. I came here after my friends recommendation to get the Iced Blueberry Matcha. I was so interested because this combination is definitely something different but I was so pleasantly surprised!! Please get this you won't be disappointed! I got the 10oz for $6.50 but honestly should've upgraded to the 16oz because the price difference isn't a lot and it's that good. Honestly the wifi was a bit spotty for me when I went downstairs, and they had three different networks for some reason. Besides that, I had such a lovely experience and it was cool that they sold apparel too! I definitely want to come back and try their original drinks :)

Easily my favorite matcha I've had in Seattle -- I've had a Strawberry Matcha before but a Blueberry one was unexpectedly lovely!

It was okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The barista was super nice, and I really liked the ambiance in there, it seemed like a nice place to study.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But after reading reviews it seemed like the Hey Bae latte was the way to go, and I was not a fan at all:( I've had ube flavored things before, but idk maybe it was the combination with hazelnut, I just did not like it. I appreciated that they had different sugar variations available, as well as simple syrup to add to your coffee on your own. The pastries also looked pretty good, although I didn't try any. I just wish the menu had a little more variance.

Cute little coffee shop located right next to Seattle University in Capitol Hill. They host events downstairs too! I came here on a Sunday after attending mass on campus for some coffee and there was like a clothes swap or something downstairs so there's both seating upstairs and downstairs. While looking up reviews, I just wanted a nice latte so I got the hey bae (Ube hazelnut latte) with regular milk and iced. It was pretty good. They also have pastries to order there too. I chilled for a bit and drank my drink and it was a nice and aesthetic spot. Some parking in the streets in that area but also a pretty busy cafe.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This anchor head location has a lot of space to work in -- there's a basement floor with even more seating and it's next to the bakery so you can smell all the pastries.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the nitro cold brew and while it wasn't very nitro, it didn't cost any more than the regular cold brew and it was a nice smooth drink.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great service from Valencia and great overall vibe here![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Blackberry Caramel Latte in particular stood out as being incredible. Look forward to coming back soon!

    12 oz fact check

Their 12 oz drinks are in fact 12 oz. I guess I prefer the cups that are skinnier and taller and trick me into believing I'm getting more. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good WiFi and lots of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Geared towards students for sure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Orange Hazelnut Pinwheel Pastry Blueberry Matcha Latte Honey Bunches of Oats Cold Brew

Came in here after a hectic day of work and boy am I sure glad I did! Met a wonderful barista by the name of Izzy and it happened to be her birthday!! She was sweet, kind, and helpful with her knowledge of products which swayed into choosing the perfect coffee!!!! Ended up buying a muffin and my ONLY regret was I didn't buy two!!! These are delicious! And everything made in house!

I've been here a few times and was always helped very fast. If you're not into coffee, their chai lattes are good. I really enjoy their iced coffee drink called: honey bunches of oat milk. It is a cold brew with oat milk, honey, cinnamon, and maple. I highly recommend this place. It's also a cute coffee shop to work at or just to enjoy a drink.

    Drip
    Ben H.

Anchorhead came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. Beans are roasted on the bottom layer of the double decker coffee shop. Ordered a drip. Free refills for the win. The coffee was flavourful, fruity and bold. I added a drop of the oat/half n half to change the consistency. We ordered a couple of pastries via 2good2go. Winning.

Climb upstairs and get ready to be wowed…read more It's not the easiest to find, but the Pike Place location sits on the top floor of the Corner Market building. Hidden, and almost spa-like. We came in on a rainy morning and found seats next to the glowing fireplace. Talk about cozy! Massive windows overlook the chaotic market below. They serve coffee, tea, pastries, a few food items, and snacks. My salted caramel latte was pretty incredible. This might sound cheesy but as I drank it, I really couldn't believe how exquisite it was. Very lightly sweetened, unbelievably smooth, the foam holding its shape all the way to the last sip, and that little touch of salt tying everything together. No joke, possibly the best latte I've ever had. Back to the space, it's dark, warm, and sexy, with soft gold and amber accents. It reminded me so much of the way I designed my own home so of course we ended up staying much longer than planned. We felt so at home. So if you're a coffee lover, you need to find this spot and experience it for yourself. One word - transcendent.

This was on a Sunday afternoon close to 5pm, and there were still so many people occupying nearly every seat inside. I did come back to try their matcha matcha drink only to find it gone from their current menu as of May 2026. Instead, their turon matcha immediately caught my eye, as it has banana and I've been obsessed with banana-flavored toppings and puree on my matcha lately. It has matcha and house banana puree, both of which work well together. The tiny layer of house banana puree has all the flavor, especially when you mix the whole drink together. Very refreshing, and their ceremonial matcha's grassy tones still came out despite the banana puree being just as strong in the drink. Their matcha here comes pretty close to making it to the highest spots on my list of my most favorite matcha places in Seattle. Even if it isn't on the top of that list, their drinks are still 5+ star quality.

I noticed that they now pour drinks from a pre-made plastic jug instead of making them fresh like when the store first opened. I usually don't get sick from drinking coffee but twice in a row is pretty bad. Their drinks are also overly sweet and most of them do not have a 0% sweet option, which is usually what I order from other coffee and tea shops, and it's probably because most of the ingredients are pre-mixed. They also use thick plastic cups, considering that Seattle is a pretty green city and a lot of similar Vietnamese coffee shops use sustainable cups. Sad to say, but my time visiting this chain has come to an end.
