It was definitely clean; pretty much spotless. The guys working there were super nice and fast. They got everything right and were more than happy to help. I got the &'sgiving and a modified Hot in Here. They were both delicious!!! All pies are $12 and you can add as many toppings as you like. This may seem a little high considering other places are $5, but those are "personal"size. I think 1 &pizza pie could feed two people who are hungry not starving. (I'm sure most guys could eat a whole pie in one sitting.) The different types of pies are interesting, but you can always create your own. They also have salads, knots and desserts. Haven't been to an &Pizza in years, thanks to Covid, and the location in Paramus closing. Happened across this location while visiting my daughter. It was lunch time and we were hungry, so it was a perfect match! Had to download a new app to place my order. Arrived when the order was supposed to be ready for pickup, and no pizza! It seems no one checked for app orders! Fortunately, their pizzas don't take that long to cook and I was on my way in 10-15 minutes. Ordered the Monday special "Maverick" for $9.99. Because of dietary restrictions in our family, we look for establishments that can offer gluten free and vegan options. My spouse and I were impressed by the offerings at &pizza. We had never been to one and the food was ready but there was only one person working with customers. That person was preparing food for someone who walked in and was unable to answer the pickup window, nor was the person who was working on the lights? I went inside and had to wait until that person's order was totally complete until the one person working could get my order from the little ovens behind the counter. At that point I asked a question about the lemon custard things being vegan and a third employee emerged and did not know the answer but had the ingredients which was helpful. The lemon custard things did not taste good anyway so no one ate them. The pizzas were both delicious. Now I'm very familiar with the chain and used to frequent the Fed Hill location so, I was very happy to see the new addition to Bel Air! As I walked in, I immediately noticed that most of the tables needed to be wiped off because the were noticeable dirty. No big deal because I know alot of restaurants get busy during the lunch time rush. I ordered a build your own with pineapple and onions. Now after I ordered a few people came in and they waited for like 10 minutes in the front of the store. They were not greeted or anything. I think there was some confusion that customers need to order toward the back. I'm not sure if the employees noticed the customers in the front. I have known about &pizza for some years now and to see it finally up in northern-ish maryland is nice!! Alright so let's get to it. I have been to this location 3 times now since it opened. Yes well of course I love the pizza and new ways of ordering. You can order ahead and come up to their window (ring my bell (it's a song my friends lol)...well their bell) and someone will come to you with your order! The other cool things is if you order ahead...you will be a celebrity pizza order with your name displayed on their window!! How cool! Each time I go, I always make my own pizza! They do have several signature pizzas you can get! They have gluten free crust for the folks that need it, and several vegan and vegetarian options such as vegan cheese, and plant based chicken. They have have shrimp for the seafood lovers!! One thing I give them (Dante) big kudus for is after touching the shrimp and they were asked for another ingredient, the awesome Dante, asked another pizza maker to assist since he touched the seafood! That was great because people do have food allergies!! GREAT JOB! Oh and don't forget your drink! They have can beverages or their own flavors or you can get it in a cup especially if you are dining in because they can refill it. Oh how did I forget they have garlic knots and two option of cookies if you want some "extras"!! So you are probably wondering why the 4 rather than 5 stars...well one of the times I did dine in and even without dining in while ordering some of the employees may forget that customers can see their every move since their setup is a open type of layout. Some employees were coming in and joking around while people were making pizzas, I also watch a few employees try the different drinks by the register while there are customers making orders on the other end. I would just suggest some training on being a bit more professional. Yes I know we love seeing our friends/co workers but we don't want the customers to get a bad feel. Oh one other thing I realized while eating in, some customers get very confused by their very savvy electronic menu that only shows two options at a time. The good & bad for our visit. Bad- Customer service was pretty much non existent. First time eating there and the menu was challenging. The girl making pizza was unfamiliar on how to make staple pizzas the company recommends so we read her the ingredients. Once we got our pizza some tall kid behind the counter cut the pizza and was slow to do much anything other than crack jokes with employees. As for seating, the location is limited but had maybe 6-7 tables although they were small. Trying to manage seating and eat pizza is tough. No plates offered so you eat from the box. Good- Pizza crust is awesome! Sauce and toppings were awesome! Once you figure out the electronic menu and ordering process the pie delivered quick. I have ordered through Grubhub which has been alright but didn't let you choose goat cheese as the cheese but only as a finish(when I go in store to order they will do it and it's SO good) and I couldn't find the grilled onions to add those to my pizza under craft your own(but you can get them in store) so that's a downside of using Grubhub but this place overall is SO good! The second time I ordered I felt like the dough was a bit too peppery but the first and last time it's been good so I guess that was an off day! My husband heard great things about the franchise, so we decided to try it out... The inside is unassuming. You think, ok what's so great about it? Two huge things: 1. The food: your meal is assembled in front of you and is DELICIOUS. I've never had a white pizza this good (and I'm pregnant so I've eaten A LOT of pizza lately). The drink choices are even intriguing, and taste amazing. 2. More importantly, the customer service: I don't think I've ever felt so important. From start to finish, it was lovely. This is a review for all my plant-based people out there dying for a good vegan pizza in Harford County, MD. We ate at &pizza a lot when we lived in DC and really missed it after moving out here a few years ago. When we found out &pizza was opening in Bel Air, we celebrated. They're the ONLY pizza shop out here that offers decent vegan options (one of the downsides of living in the middle of nowhere ). You can choose from a small selection of pre-made vegan pizza options or make your own. We always make our own. They offer traditional (vegan) and gluten-free (vegan + GF) crust options. Both are really good but I prefer traditional. She prefers GF. You can choose from two vegan sauce types (regular and spicy marinara) or you can roll with a white pizza (olive oil in place of sauce). The toppings are super tasty and the crust has that NYC-style chewiness we love. You can choose from 15+ vegan toppings from vegan cheese (Daiya) to spinach, broccoli, roasted red peppers, sauteed onions, pickled chili's, spicy chickpeas to vegan sausage and chicken (Daring Foods) and a lot more. PRO TIP 1: They don't add much marinara to their pizzas by default. We always ask for more sauce. PRO TIP 2: They add too much vegan cheese by default. We ask for a medium amount of vegan cheese. Our most recent order was missing the cherry tomatoes we selected, but other than that, the food was REALLY good. Just how we remembered it in DC. Maryland isn't known for local pizza, so I'm stoked that there's an &pizza nearby. If you're new to the &pizza experience, be warned that their stuff is pretty spendy. Instead of a family-sized pie, you get a personal pizza that feeds 1 adult for about $11.00. It's not a place for a family on a budget. Not to mention most of their toppings cater to adults and not children. The upside is that you get as many toppings as you want for that price. This location (like a lot of their locations) is built in a small retail space. There are only a handful of places to sit inside, so plan to carry out, eat in your car or eat at a nearby park. We've used GrubHub a couple of times for delivery, which has been pretty seamless. Because the driver usually has more that one order to deliver, the pizza arrived cold both times. Given that there are no other pizza places with good vegan options, it's a minor inconvenience for us. A quick 15-seconds in the microwave does the trick. The delivery driver followed instructions to the letter. It's our third time ordering from GrubHub. Thus far, all our experiences have been positive. We give the pizza a 9/10 and the delivery 8/10. I enjoy &PIZZA and I have had it different states in the US. But by far this location is the worst. Customer service is terrible and several health code violations. One of the employees touched his nose, mask and facial hair with a pair of gloves on then begin preparing pizza. I asked for him to change his gloves. He refused. I requested to speak to the manager, she was very dismissive and did nothing. She stated okay and walked off to talk to an another employee that was not in uniform. The food here is absolutely delicious. To be clear, this is NOT pizza by most definitions of the word. This is artisan bread and toppings. But it's delicious. The white pizza is amazing. The knots are also amazing, and who knew that ranch went so well with pizza. I've ordered here multiple times, and it's always good. My only complaint is that it is a little pricy for the size of the "pizza" you get, and my food usually is delivered warm but not hot. read more

This is the second review I have written for the Bel Air location. We will no longer be ordering from this location. I don't know why, but I have given them many chances--probably because our experience withe the Fed Hill location has been perfect. Tonight we got an entire wrong order delivered. When you call it goes straight to a recording so the only way to communicate with the restaurant is via text message. After a brief text message exchange they went silent and it was over 20 minutes before I received a response. 45 minutes after notifying the restaurant of the wrong delivery I have no idea what the resolution will be.
