The atmosphere is chill, great music, unique drink options (I opted for the cereal milk cream soda) and tons of pizza creations to be made. I got the Gnarlic & my boyfriend got the American honey. I liked both but mine had far too much pesto on it. It honestly was good but not great. My boyfriend said it tasted like pizza he would make at home. Floors were slippery because it was metal and they just mopped before it was closed so I slipped twice as did another girl, this wasn't deep to me just feel like couldhazard. For parking, you can parallel park if you can find it otherwise use the gallery place garage. They sell milk cookies, cereal milk flavor, those are really good actually (I've reviewed the milk bar before if you're interested). They said people either love or hate those cookies. They're open until 11, which is the main reason we went as we got out of a movie and most places were closed or about to be. Overall, it's about a 3.5 in quality to me. They had a pretty cool playlist of music playing in that background which gave the chill and mellow vibe to the place. It was also a Friday night so that explains the crowd. We were hungry and looking for something quick to take back to our hotel. This was my first time so of course I had to try all of the sauces they had available. The Fig and Bbq took the cake. It's busy during lunch but I didn't feel like I had to wait a very long time. We dined in (high tables and stools). They have a few Bar-top style seating near the door and outside table and chair options. Great spot for friends or if you just want to enjoy your pizza alone. Drink options include bottle water, caffeine-free naturally flavored drink choices (ginger berry lemonade, dark cherry cola, mango passion fruit, pear fig elixir and burdock +anise root beer). Fine. We ordered a couple of Maverick pizzas. The fountain drink machine was broken so no refills for me! $2.75 for a La Croix. No problem as long as I can cool down and recharge in the AC. Great place to grab a really quick and affordable meal! We were tired and hungry and cold from walking around the National Mall, and &pizza was one of the closer restaurants within walking distance to the Smithsonian museums and came highly recommended by a friend. For indecisive people like me who wanted to try everything on the menu, they let you order half the pizza with one flavor/topping combo. My husband and I ordered half: Farmer's daughter (spicy tomato, spinach, mozzarella, Italian sausage, egg, parm, hot sauce), and half: Maverick (salami, pepperoni, sausage, pesto, parmesan). Our pizza was ready in about 5 minutes; their oven is very fast! The Farmer's daughter pizza was definitely unique and I liked the egg on top of the pizza, though wasn't a fan of the tangy/sour hot sauce. My favorite part was the soda fountain with a bunch of unique flavors. I tried a cereal milk cream soda. Really just tasted like any cream soda but was still fun to try. I also tried a mango soda. I'm weirdly obsessed with mangos so this one I really liked! The inside was small, but there weren't many people there so we found a spot at a long table. There are several &pizza locations so if you're meeting up with friends, send the address of which you're going to.
