Evens was a great server and helped us get all the toppings we wanted without rushing us. Super helpful and nice! Love &pizza and the food it provides. I wish there were more toppings choices, but other than that it's great! Will always come here when I go to DC.

    THE FARMERS DAUGHTER
    Card M.

I ordered the farmers daughter pizza, and I will tell you, I was blown away. I was on a short trip and I did not have any expectations of this pizza but when I took the first bite, I fell in love. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat. It took around 10 minutes to get my pizza. The service was pretty good, they made to sure that the customers were taken care of. There is not many seats indoors, so i recommend grabbing a spot indoors when you see an open seat!

    Pepperoni and pineapple pizza

Extremely small and cramped inside, and it seems some people just come in and sit there all day. It was also wildly hot and stuffy, despite it being in the 40's that day. I assume because of the small space and amount of people, it's difficult for them to clean, so the one group table was very dirty. Staff did not seem to want to talk to anyone and would point at the kiosk instead of taking orders (despite there being a sign that said orders can be made at the counter with an arrow). The menu looks fantastic, tons of options, lots of customization, but the food was very basic. The crust was fluffy and a golden brown, but the sauce tasted like tangy marinara and was sparse. Toppings in general seemed lacking compared to the bread. The pizza tasted more like something you would get in a cafeteria- not bad, but not something to order twice.

Had their pizzas recently and they are super delicious! You can customize them as much as you'd like for the same price using current promotions which is great! They come out fresh, delicious, and well topped. Staff are friendly and work efficiently!

I ordered a pizza online and went to pick it up earlier. My pizza was supposed to have pineapple on it in addition to other toppings, but unfortunately I couldn't see the pineapple and didn't taste it either. If toppings are unavailable in that location, I thought they would've taken them off the app for availability. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted and said I was picking up an order and they said they were still working on it.... I'm not sure if the person was new or not, but they didn't seem super confident when working on my order.

My fiancé and I were leaving the area and decided to stop by for pizza. We're huge fans of &pizza, so we already had our orders in mind, but wanted to check out the menu for new signature items. Here's what we had: me - CBR (chicken, bacon, ranch) he - AMERICAN HONEY Both pizzas were delicious. We took our orders to go because the place didn't really have much room for more diners. The staff was friendly. (Too bad the customers weren't.) __ I eat. @f.hux I thrift. @DCthriftish

American Honey pizza & hot knots
    Josh R.

Great fast casual pizza! I ordered the American Honey pizza without the goat cheese and arugula. We split the hot knots, and I had a sugar cookie. The pizza had a ton of flavor and was delicious! The hot knots were pretty good too. The cookie was just okay. Just a heads up this location doesn't have much seating, so you might need to take it to go.

We explore the beautiful Smithsonian Natural History Museum this day got super hungry and crave for some delicious pizza well ok this place did not disappoint. It is close walking proximity to the museum. Their crust is perfect in every bite and the pizza is cooked flavorful fresh ingredients. Best part is that this pizza is not too oily which is not a pleasant thing. Staff is super helpful and attentive to our order. We didn't wait too long. They offer several seating area if you prefer to dine in. Would definitely recommend them especially their affordable pricing.

Cool vibe and great pie. Staff was so friendly for us first timers. With their guidance we made custom pie that hit the mark. Would absolutely repeat.

gluten free pizza featured on the right
    Asya T.

I will NEVER have anything negative to say about &pizza. I've been dining at every &pizza I cross paths with for over a decade, and they never disappoint. As someone who is gluten-free due to medical necessity, I'm incredibly grateful for how carefully they handle my order. They always ask if it's an allergy or a preference, then change gloves, use separate utensils, and even different trays, making me feel safe and valued as a customer. Every visit, I try a different combination, and this time I went with pepperoni, sausage, marinara, mozzarella, mushrooms, jalapeños, and a drizzle of pesto. It was absolutely delicious--perfectly balanced with fresh, flavorful toppings and a crust that doesn't make you miss the gluten. As a fast-casual restaurant, seating is limited, but the setup keeps the line moving efficiently. Plus, the pizzas hold up well if you have a 10-20 minute commute before digging in. &pizza continues to be a reliable and tasty option for me, and I'll always be a loyal fan!

    Do they take cash?

    Yes, we do take cash.

    Do they take reservations?

No reservations required. It's a quick service style place. Walk up, order at one end of the counter, pick up at the other. There's very limited seating on a first come first serve basis.

How many can one pizza serve?

I can eat the pizza myself even though they cut it into 8 slices and they are small. If you are not a big eater you can share it with a girlfriend. If a big eater like me, one pie one person.

How long it takes in the oven?

It takes about 5 minutes, maybe 7 minutes tops. It is really fast, like Chipotle. Just as fast as that, only seeing them make pizza, instead of tacos.

That month I had started Uber driving, was in this area of DC, had heard good things about Wiseguy, and decided to eat here. Although I don't like paying to park just to simply eat a meal, I sometimes will make an exception for convenience and/or if it's a place I really want to go. But for the most part, I'll go to restaurant where they have free parking or at least I can find free parking near the restaurant. I remembered getting a parking spot very close and feel like I feed the meter like 50 cents in 2014 parking prices for a quick 30 minute meal. They have all kinds of varieties of slices from the standard toppings or just cheese to fancy ones. Although the pizza is fairly thin, but average for New York style pizza. I tried Andy's Pizza 11 years later in 2025, and while it was solid although not as good as Wiseguy, my real complaint with Andy's was that the pizza is very thin, where I was hungry very soon later; so a much worse value as pricing is comparable to Wiseguy. Wiseguy slices are big, and the pizza is top notch New York style. I went to this location a couple of more times after my initial August 2014 visit as I loved the pizza. Then, they opened up other locations. I went to Navy Yard one at least twice, once after a Nationals baseball game after a disappointing loss for my 4th favorite baseball team, Texas Rangers. Sorry Nats fans, but Nats are in my bottom 10 teams. I also went to Rosslyn & Pentagon City location, where parking isn't quite as bad. They even had a Wheaton Mall food court location, which I got to experience once, but they sadly closed. Every experience with Wiseguy has been positive.

They were happy to accommodate, asking only that we order something there as well, so we grabbed a drink. The pizza came out quickly, hot and fresh. We're vegetarians, so we ordered one square slice of cheese and one square slice of mushroom. The cheese slice was good but not great. It could have used a bit more sauce and seasoning. The mushroom slice, however, was excellent. We both immediately agreed we should have just ordered a full mushroom pie. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. The environment was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you're in the Navy Yard area, it's definitely worth a stop. Instead, it took about 10-15 minutes for the chicken to arrive, and by then our Alfredo was ice cold. The waitress apologized and put in a new order of pasta, but that also took quite a while. When it finally arrived, it came without the chicken, while the original chicken that had arrived late was now cold as well. At that point we didn't even eat the meal. The waitress said the replacement pasta was "on the house," which was a strange thing to point out since it was replacing a meal that was prepared incorrectly. When we first walked in, the cashier immediately apologized for the long wait times, thanked everyone for their patience, and let us know they were incredibly short staffed with only two people working. Because the tiny interior was already packed, we decided to leave and do some sightseeing first. However, seeing how good the pizza looked we knew we had to come back later that afternoon. There's no negative details in my review. Nothing but positive things and a small recommendation. 1. Staff and Service I really appreciated the cashier's honesty about running behind right off the bat. That allowed us to make an informed choice rather than get frustrated by a long wait. More businesses could learn from this! 2. Restaurant's Layout The inside is a bit tight and busy, but it's located in a smaller older building, so they have no other options. Since they can't expand the inside adding an outdoor pub height counter for eating, a bench or some seating out front would be a great way to give waiting patrons a place to sit. Also a place to eat. 3. The Pizza -The Veggie Pizza: My nephew and I both ordered this, and the slices were massive you'll see in my pics! They were honestly the largest slices I have ever seen! I love pizza and have eaten it in New York and Chicago, and my slice here held its own. It was loaded with a huge variety of vegetables. I requested to put mine through the oven twice to get the veggies warm and cooked because I noticed my nephew's slice looked like a warm salad on crust. So happy I did because it was delicious! The jalapeños were intensely spicy which is on me, since I'm a bit of a lightweight with spice! -The Meat Options: My son got the pepperoni and thought it was really good, and my husband got a supreme slice which he also said was good . 4. Price and pizza size- they're more expensive than a typical slice, but once you see those big ole slices in my pics you'll understand why. They can't even fit on a plate. They had to serve them to you in an actual pizza box! After reading my long review you're trying to find out if I would go back huh? Absolutely! If I ever in the area or stay at the Hilton DC again, I would definitely walk right on over and get a slice. You can feed a family of three on one slice! Adult and two small children!
