I don't frequent this location much these days since I'm mostly teleworking but I've never had any issues here. A few days ago on National Pizza Day I decided to get my lunch from here. Placed the order on the app and arrived at my pickup time. My food was hot and waiting for me! I usually do the "craft your own" and every time I do different things, but one thing that it always will be for me, is spicy! Give me all the hotness (jalapenos, peppers...all that)! And truffle ranch - not spicy but darn good. Do they bottle this up and sell it separately? I would totally buy that! A local chain, make your own pizza place, for what it is, it's pretty good. Fresh ingredients and a speedy process make this general experience pretty good overall. My only gripe with this chain is the crust is not super flavorful and too chewy. Besides that, you can make the pizza how you want it with whatever toppings, making all your combination dreams come true. This might be the best pizza I've ever had. Super insanely great flavors, fun packaging and fast! Opted to try the "Dirty Birdless" which might just be my favorite combo !! This was alternative "chicken" (a big win for vegan or vegetarian's!) with buffalo sauce and ranch. Talk about amazing! Wow! The only feedback, would be eating onsite would be awesome. The two employees were unenthused as we stood there ready to order. One of them was preparing an online order. After a few minutes of them not speaking to us, we walked out. I still think the pizza is good and affordable BUT I got an email about an order I did not place, which began an ongoing 6 week odyssey of trying to get a response from & that is not a bot response. I was concerned my account was hacked, which I feel they should quickly respond to. Instead, I've just been in bot hell. I get responses that are non responsive like, "Thanks for reaching out! Our support team is on it, and we'll get back to you ASAP, but that could be within 24 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated. " Spoiler alert. They will not. I've tried any email I can find, texted constantly, IG and Facebook. Hello I visited the store on H st NW in Washington DC on 11/22/24. The service was horrible & the workers had a bad attitude.

I picked up a to-go order from this location yesterday. I asked the person making the pizza if they had gluten free crust and what it was made of. After confirming they had GF crust, what the major ingredients were, and that I was ordering a GF pizza crust, the employee still somehow gave me a wheat crust pizza. I was skeptical, because it didn't look like a GF pizza, but I trusted her. We had a whole conversation about it. After a few bites of a slice and feeling weird I realized that, despite my best efforts, I had been glutenized. I'm leaving one star because, despite the pizza being good, I really need people to understand that not everyone asks for GFF because they prefer the taste or are trying to lose weight. Some of us have an actual intolerance, which means our bodies can't properly digest it, and some actually have celiac disease, which can kick off a host of severe symptoms. In other words, when a customer makes a special food request, pay attention. While the employee apologized twice, just saying sorry is not enough. If you make a mistake offer them something for the trouble you put them through. It's a way of showing that you care, if not about them then at least about getting a customer's order right. read more

This review is long overdue. The food here is always great--good value for the money and very tasty for "fast food" individual pizzas. I brought in a school group of 32 teenagers and several adults, which I have done each February for quite a few years now. It can be quite overwhelming but the staff is always nice. This past February, though, I was particularly struck by the efficency and pleasant demeanor of all the staff--so much so that I asked for their names (Marvin, Erik, Colleen, and Rebecca). They were really fabulous! I misplaced the scrap of paper with their names but just now found it. Wanted to recognize them--hopefully they are still there! My only wish is that they had some additional seating outside--this is definitely a small space. read more

I was quite excited to order from here considering reviews are everything and theirs were good, so I was almost certain I would have a pleasant experience. Upon arrival I say hello and I am completely ignored. I realize I have a reward for my birthday so I am able to get complimentary cinnamon-knots. I redeem the reward and let them know. I stand there & watch 3 people be served before me as my cinna-knots are just sitting there getting cold until I am told that my cinna knots are ready but I need to redeem the reward which I had already done. We are from out of state w no car, we ordered pizza at 7:30pm for delivery and by 9 there was still no pizza. My son waiting the lobby for an hour and a half. Our delivery driver (third party) knocked on the door of a closed restaurant and they said "Yeah, sorry about that. We didn't get your order out. Can you ask for a refund?" So, we have no food, we are being told to do the work of getting the charge off my card and also to contact the delivery service to get their charge off as well. I am beyond furious. The seating area is unusual, It is smack dab in the middle of the main area, and you are amidst the line and incoming traffic, I sat down and began feasting.. The topping to cheese ratio was perfect ; and the pizza tasted pretty dang good for $9!!! I ate it down to the last bite, and my lunch cravings were beyond satisfied. Blaze comes to mind. &pizza hasn't made it to my neck of the woods yet, surprisingly, but I have heard nothing but praise for this fast growing chain. Located in the forever beautiful Georgetown neighborhood, &pizza satisfies a quick bite at a reasonable price point. Like many fast casuals, the setup is assembly line, picking your ingredients as you move down the line. Of course you can always go with one of the set menu items. As far as the pizza is concerned, the dough is on point. Light and airy, not too thin and packing a decent crisp factor. I will admit My American Honey was heavy on the goat cheese, pretty much negating the balance that should have been achieved by the honey drizzle. Final conclusion? Good, not great. Which isn't exactly a bad thing. Disclaimer: I might not be the best to advise, as my pizza standards are extremely high. The only Michelin restaurant I've had the chance to dine at thus far is a pizza stop in Naples Italy. Add in the fact that my go to pizza less than 10 minutes from my house, happens to have made it into yelps top 10 places to eat in America 2 years running....so yeah, I'm spoiled. read more

Was a little hard to find as it's on the ground floor of the Rayburn building. Google map directions won't get you there. Go to the main entrance and ask for directions from security. On our recent visit to &pizza ( located inside charming Hotel Hive, D.C.'s first micro-hotel), I ordered the personal pizza, it was made-to-order, delivered promptly, fresh and hot. The service was good and the pizza delicious. You can select from the menu or craft your own. I also appreciate a nice, fresh-tasting tomato sauce without sugar. I've been told Italians like to add sugar to their "tomato gravy" to counteract the acid. No thank you. Mozzarella cheese is a requirement for me, but not an overwhelming amount. A nice balance helps me to appreciate all of the flavors. The pizza does not take very long to cook in their special oven and there was no queue when we are so the whole process was very quick.It was not very busy when we went. We really enjoyed it though! My son and I were spending the day in DC and wanted to grab a quick bite without the pomp and circumstance of downtown DC dining. We stumbled upon &pizza on 10th and E Street, NW. We literally almost passed it because it's a small eatery with dim lighting, a narrow entrance and very unassuming. Let me tell you...that was the best flatbread pizza I've ever had. Granted, I'm not a pizza connoisseur because I have both a diary and a gluten allergy, the two main ingredients of pizza. However, the gluten free crust, vegan cheese, fresh herbs and vegetables at &pizza, changed my pizza point of view! Even I, a gluten-free, dairy-free person can enjoy an artisan flatbread with the freshest ingredients. The crust was flaky and flavorful. My toppings were spicy tomato sauce, spinach, basil, vegan cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms, chickpeas, peppers, peppercinis, basil, arugula and garlic sauce. It was outstanding. My son had something called Pineapple Jak'd and the Outlaw. And the best part was the pleasant, polite and professional brown and black faces behind the counter ensuring my dietary restrictions were met.
