It feels more like a café in a boutique hotel than a corner coffee spot.I ordered at the counter -- it's all self-serve, so you pay up front and grab your food when they call your name. The coffee was good. Smooth, strong, served in a heavy ceramic mug if you're staying in. No burnt taste, and they don't skimp on the foam if you get a latte. The food was solid, but the portions are small for the price. Tastes good, just doesn't fill you up. It's a great spot if you want good coffee and a calm, beautiful space to work or relax. I've been to several Lousa Coffees in Taiwan and LOVED their coffee -- many of my Taiwanese friends prefer them over Starbucks. I was so glad to see one opened in WeHo. One of the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shops I've been too. The place is big with what looks like a DJ stand on the second floor. Nice tables and chairs plus outdoor seating. Many people were working on laptops so it's a great place to catch up with a friend or get some work done. I decided to do some work here. I had a drip coffee and tomato focaccia bread. The space is beautiful, with some unique art pieces, feels cozy, has nice natural lighting and comfortable seating as well a small outdoor patio are. There's an upstairs loft area as well. Free wifi is available, the staff are so friendly, and the cafe is such a lovely spot to chat or get some work done. I ordered one of their signature drinks, the raspberry heaven, which is an oat milk latte with raspberry puree and a cream top. A roaster and a coffee shop at one spot! Really loving the brick-themed space with nice-looking mezzanine floor and side open-air patio. All baristas were nice and friendly as well. The cafe was busy almost at all times and you could clearly see most people sit with their work/laptop. Relatively quiet space - noise wise, which I fancied as I did try to get work done while sipping my coffee. They also have a nice patio with plants and a big community table for 8. The second floor is more like an art gallery with traveling artists--no food and drinks on the second floor. I've been to Louisa Coffee a couple of times. The service is fantastic. You are greeting with a smile and light conversation. All of the staff take the time to help you with menu suggestions. Very welcoming! The ambiance and environment are conducive to meeting a friend for coffee or working on your laptop (they have good WIFI and plugs). So far my only issue is that I'm a tea drinker and I learned this week that they will no longer offer hot loose leaf tea. This will obviously impact whether I continue to visit. read more

Some table and seat upstairs were available, I asked if I could go but was told no food or drink upstairs (confused why there's tables then?). Then, the sir proceeded to tell me " we do our best to accommodate tho, like right now some employees are eating upstairs ". Ok? But then he never told me if that meant I could go work and get a coffee upstairs, or if that was just chit chat. So I kinda just stood there, not knowing if I should order or if I'd waste money since there's no spot to seat downstairs.
