This is the Italian restaurant inside the Hyatt Regency, Seattle. It's always great having multiple dining options in your hotel, and this is one of two in the building. Seating is ample and feels very separate from the rest of the hotel. I've stayed here plenty for work, and always enjoyed Andare's garlic focaccia, burrata appetizer, pizzas, and chicken carbonara pasta. Service is friendly in both the restaurant and bar. I appreciated the house cocktails but they have a full bar too. I was helped by two great bartenders during my latest stay, they really make you feel welcome! read more

This restaurant is in the Hyatt Regency Seattle. First let me say I was pleasantly (very happily) surprised by the pizza my wife and I share. It was piping hot and very tasty. Quite frankly this was the first time I've had pizza outside of NY and in a HOTEL restaurant that was truly fantastic. But the real Kicker was Kathy (or was it Cathy) our server. She was so warm and pleasant throughout our meal. She gave us ideas for some places to visit while here. I have come back the next day to see if it would equal that experience. Once again everyone was friendly. I ordered the meatball sub which was also very good. The meatballs were nicely spiced, the bread was warm , soft and crispy. My server today was Dessy, who was very nice, asked about my stay and if I was enjoying my day. Five stars for everything except ...... not a big fan of the Canvas Pinot Noir. It is too sweet and perfumey ( I know that's not a word!) for me. Spend the extra $4 for the Erath Pinot they have on the list. All in all I've been here for a late dinner and lunch the following day. I have been very pleased by both meals and considering this is IN a hotel, the prices are fairly reasonable. Main dishes follow: gnocchi w/seared salmon - perfectly cooked and flavorful; chicken sandwich - was also flavorful but needs more chicken than bread; bean & meatball soup w/half meatball sandwich - both lacked depth in flavor but the quantity was adequate for 1. The ambiance was satisfactory nothing special. As for service, let's just say I was emptying the calamari bowl before the server recognized we needed plates. Its been 2 years since I visited this place and me and my fiance ALWAYS talk about Andare's Fettuccini Carbonara IT IS THE BEST PASTA IVE EVER TRIED. Now I'd actually pay a plane just to go taste that dish once again. We woke up one day at Hyatt during our stay and we ordered the carbonara pasta dish and it was so goood. After checking out we waited for our uber in the hotel lobby and this gorg waitress came and asked if we needed anything from the menu, now Im not going to lie I was actually captivated as she was beautiful so it was a bit of a questioning of my sexuality there (lol) all jokes aside, we picked the pasta and ate it in the plane, once again it was soooo yummmy. Stopped in for a drink on our way back from dinner. Met some very interesting people which made for a laughable memory that we will talk about for a while. The bartender, Angelica was in on the inside joking and we really had a good time. So the next evening we returned and ended up having appetizers and drinks at the bar. Kale and white bean soup and meatballs. Both dishes were delicious, warm and hit the spot. It was cold out all day. Last night in town and wanted a low key dinner. Started with the calamari again. The addition of the spicy pepper to the calamari doused in lemon with the aioli was the perfect meal kick-off. The salad with the fresh shaved Parmesan on this Caesar. Then a great solid Pinot to accompany the grilled halibut. The heaviness of the tomatoes and the grilled Brussels were perfectly accompanied by the Pinot. The grilled halibut was a tad bit dry for my liking but it worked well with the vegetables. I was pleasantly surprised by Andaré. It is one of the restaurants in the Hyatt Regency and is reasonably priced for the quality of food. I tried the Trofie pasta and the grilled salmon. I was a big fan of the pasta which was made with a pesto sauce based with pistachio. I would recommend this for the pesto lovers out there. Unfortunately the salmon was not impressive. It was a bit over cooked and didn't taste very fresh. The bread service ($3) comes with a decently sized warm load and olive oil/vinegar. Andare is the more casual one restaurant if the hotel on the first/lobby floor. This being said it does have a nice ambiance and is more casual nice than casual, but most people are dressed very casually. read more

We are frequent guests at the Hyatt, which is where this delightful kitchen and bar is located. We've eaten dinner and enjoyed it tremendously, but this review is about brunch. Pilar was our server and took prodigious care of us. He is an ambassador for the Hyatt, talking about places he's been and the wonderful amenities at Hyatt hotels. It was a pleasure talking to him! Brunch is delightful, with a brunch Buffay, as well as wonderful omelettes. Post Covid, it's really nice to be able to go to a buffet again. Thanks for a great experience! read more

Terrible service! We were staying at the Hyatt Regency Seattle from 07/11-07/14. When we check in, we were told about the restaurant. We went to eat on 07/12 for breakfast. The host sat us down, left the menu and left, at no point where we told how the breakfast works. We were waiting for about 15 min and during that time we noticed that the people who were waiting behind us was already getting served. I stood up and asked the host how the breakfast works and if we can get some waters. The host told me that the waiter would come to the table to get drink and special food items and we could get the food like a buffet. I let my family know because they are Spanish speakers. We were there for about 30 min, and nobody came to check in on us, we literally had to go to our hotel room to get some water to drink. When I tried asking a waiter for help, he completely ignored me and went to another table. We noticed that all the customers who were being served were white and my family being the only Latino brown people, we felt unseen. By the end we felt that we were not welcomed there and went to the host stand and paid. A family member who was with us is a Hyatt employee and gets a discount of 50%. We let the host know when we were playing and took the card and mentioned putting the discount. Later in the day, we noticed that they charged us FULL PRICE for food, drinks and a tip. I got very upset and when we came back to the hotel, we went back to the restaurant and asked for help on a bill. Someone who I believe was the manager told her everything that happened that morning. The manager just told me to put the name on the persons card and my email and that she would fix the issue and would email me that day or the next day. It felt that she wanted me to go away. From that day, the manager has not sent me any info and my card still has the full purchase for that "breakfast". Avoid this restaurant!! There is way better service at Pike Place or anywhere but there!! read more

Came here for restaurant week and didn't have super high expectations because of the reviews, but was very pleasantly surprised with everything. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and our server was so incredibly sweet we would return just for the service! We ordered everything to share and had the calamari and meatballs to start, the filet and pasta for mains, and then tiramisu for dessert and our server even gave us a secret cannoli option which was delicious. Overall, a really fantastic experience and everything was an absolute hit. The beef was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had a really delicious squash purée to go with it. The other highlight was the meatballs for sure. They were incredible. Will definitely be back!! read more

This is a restaurant inside the Hyatt regency (one of 3). I stopped in for a drink after some shopping. It all of a sudden got REALLY busy (happy hour) and there was only 1 bartender working at the time. It took a while to get a drink but following that everything was a great experience! Really friendly service by everyone... my husband met me after work and we ended up staying for a couple hours! I got a couple glasses of brut champagne on happy hour which was tasty. And I also tried the HH meatballs which were a great portion with 5 meatballs and pita! They had a nice kick to them. The sauce was great as well... really nice add with the pita to soak up the remaining sauce. Def give this place a stop for at least a hh drink if you're staying at the Hyatt or close by! read more

Had a good dinner here while staying at the Hyatt Regency. There were a couple slight food misses but nothing bad (menu listed a Caesar Salad with bib lettuce and it Instead came with romaine and the toast of our bruschetta was a little over done). This place was an option for lunch on my lunch app so I decided to check it out and was pleasant surprise. This is located in the new Hyatt hotel and is consider more of a sit down fancy lunch rather than a quick to go lunch. However, this place exceeded my expectations for a quick lunch. I ordered the chicken salad and when I arrived, it was ready in a nice paper bag. The lady saw me arrive and had it ready for me to grab. When I open the box, I was pleasantly surprise as well. The chicken was a generous portion and was juicy and tender. The salad was filled with artichoke, pistachio and cheese. All the ingredients was fresh and high quality. For the price, this is a really good deal. Would definitely come back to try other things for lunch. One of the worst meals I've ever had specially before New Year's Eve. The pasta carbonera was not edible it was horrible flavor and pasta was sticking together as if it was sitting under heating lamp for hours. The flavor profile of sauce tasted like glue. All the food was cold the sauce on the chicken parmigiana was flavorless and I wanted to throw up when I tasted it. The focaccia bread was dry and unappealing unless you drenched with butter. The steak was ordered medium rare and we got beef jerky that looked like burnt ends without any flavor. The side of meatballs were just ok. All in all a group of 5 of us will never return to this restaurant after spending almost $300 my partner is crying inside. read more

How I wish to give Andare 5 stars because the staff consistently go out of their way to provide great service. I've visited several times for a quick dinner, bite to eat at the bar and for take out. The selection since the opening December '18 has remained the same and is limited albeit quite varied flavor wise - i.e., it doesn't appear they gave specials or a rotating menu. The food quality is very decent overall except for the pasta dishes where it appears that the management cuts corners with the ingredients. Options cover a nice range from pizza to sandwiches. Taste tends towards spicy. The service in the main restaurant area is a bit different - place an order at the entrance through a tablet (someone is there to type it in for you), then wait for your food and drinks to arrive at a table of your choice. A 20% service charge is apparently no longer automatically included. Noise level is average to loud depending on how many enthusiastic conference attendees are dining with you. Music tends to be 80s pop, not such a great choice for dining. read more

The review should actually be rated somewhere between poor and average. Completely mediocre experience. The service was horrible - Colin was my server and I don't think he said more than 2 words to be - probably due to the fact that he was chatting at the host stand. I did a very simple order. The glass of wine was brought in a reasonable amount of time. I finally had to go up and interrupt his conversation at the host stand to ask about the order of bread. He then went to the kitchen area and immediately brought me bread that had obviously been waiting for for pickup. The spaghetti and meatballs were mediocre at best. 2 tiny tasteless meatballs on some very sticky and gooey spaghetti. It just wasn't good. Again -- no interaction with the server. He never asked if I would like another glass of wine or inquired if my meal was ok or perhaps if I wanted some parmesan on the spaghetti. Just awful service. To make matters worse, the restaurant adds on an automatic 18% service fee that they say (on the check) is distributed to collegues and then indicated that I could leave an additional tip! Ridiculous. Perhaps this is why the server didn't provide any service as they know that the are getting 18% regardless of their service. read more

We love this place! Top tier device and food. Mark was fantastic, we chatted about Deadpool :) and so was all of the serve staff. The entire staff even with the hotel is very accommodating and kind. Although the food looked very aesthetic, the taste wasn't as good as I would have expected for this price. The calamari wasn't bad except the breading was falling off. The flavor was a bit lighter but was acceptable. The meatballs were really good but I only had a little from my friend. The salmon itself was good even if the flavor was a little bit on the lighter side. The asparagus was alright, it just tasted like asparagus, nothing special. The base of the beans were very tangy and a little underdone. The tiramisu was a little too sweet and had a stronger taste of rum than normal. I waited another 5 minutes and went to the hostess to see if I could place my order with her or someone else (she was very kind & told me that she couldn't take the order but that she'd let my server know I'd been waiting). The hostess confirmed that the woman I assumed was my server, was indeed my server. I saw her talk to my server. I waited longer, and she came to the party of 2 next to me to refresh their drinks. She glanced over to me, and kept walking. I still waited. Another party of 2 arrived, and she immediately gave them menus, brought them water and.... well, that's when I finally got up. Making a scene or calling someone out isn't my style so I simply went back to the hostess and told her what happened. The hostess was apologetic, offered to take my order given the blatant disregard from the server, but I told her I'd rather go. I'm not sure why this server would treat me this way -- perhaps it's because I was a party of 1? Maybe she didn't see taking my order worth her time. She's the white woman, long hair, on the heavy side, wears glasses. Never again will I go to this place. The 1 star is for the hostess -- she was kind and humanistic. The customer service was so great here it was worth writing a review. The host was super personable and friendly with guests as they put in to go orders behind us at closing time. Our first pizza was brought out and our waitress told us right off the bat they overcooked a side of it but to eat what we could and we had another pizza being made that would replace it on the way. The first pizza was okay and we may of not even noticed it was burnt but I am so glad be brought the second out because It was 100% better. After seeing pictures of the fettuccine carbonara, I really wanted to try this restaurant out. Located on the lobby level of Hyatt Recency Seattle, it was convenient for us to dine there after a long day of exploring the city. Given that there were just 2 in our party, we decided to walk in without a reservation. The hostess said she didn't have any available tables (there were a few empty 2 seaters, but we assumed there were reservations, although those tables remained empty during our entire dining experience) but then said they would clean up and have a table for us in 10-15 minutes. Ok, we can wait. We perused the menu and placed our order. Long story short, the waitress and staff were very nice. We felt really bad for our waitress. She seemed like the only one taking orders and she apologized to multiple tables for the long wait times for food and some incorrect orders that came out. She maintained her professionalism and didn't let any frustration show. I give her so much credit for keeping it together. The chef seemed overwhelmed while running no less than 3 stations for a while so kudos to him for holding it down until another chef came. The lack of stars on this review is because the food was not worth the wait. The calamari was clumpy and over cooked, the soup came out barely warm, and the fettuccine carbonara was also clumpy and gave my a stomachache. The restaurant didn't get full during our visit, but perhaps they are understaffed? I'm sorry to say this is not a place I'd return to. read more

We were visiting Seattle on Christmas night and we had no other choice than this restaurant as all neighborhood eateries were closed. As we stepped in, there were no Christmas vibes which was rather disappointing. My vegetarian friend ordered a salad and I ordered pasta and a side of prawns. The salad was made with rotten greens, so annoying! My pasta was wet with butter and the shrimp was so tasteless. I got terribly sick because of my intolerance to too much oil and fat in food. Came here for some lunch yesterday and decided to order The grinder sandwich. It's an italian style sandwich with the usual cured salami meats, provolone, lettuce, tomato and red wine vinegar on a toasted baguette. The sandwich also came with a side of pickled veggies that consists of cauliflower, shallots, carrots, peppers and pickles. I asked if they could put mama's lil peppers in my sandwich cause I like it spicy. The price was $13 so a bit pricey for a sandwich in my opinion however I think it was well worth the price. I havent had a good italian sandwich in a very long time so this really hit the spot. The baguette has a good crunch, toasted perfectly.
