It was early afternoon so I'm unsure if the kitchen was staffed normally but the staff were overly casual, and the food was mediocre at best. I didn't have much of an appetite so I chose a Caeser salad and some wine.....the salad was wilted, missing croutons and so memorably sad .....for 15 bucks. The apparent chef arrived to the restauraunt towards the end of my meal (hus birthday song welcomed him) so I want to believe he would have never allowed this to pass muster. Love their new dishes - Shrimp scampi with fried risotto. The shrimp were 3 tiger shrimp that cooked just right. The risotto was a bit heavy cuz it was fried with heavy cream. Still delicious! I ordered the Mango cucumber mule was a bit sweet so I asked for extra ginger beer. Panna cotta for dessert. A bit disappointed as I can tasted it was not made fresh at the daily basis. I ate half. We had possibly one of the rudest dining experience I have ever had. We were staying at the Hyatt last Thursday thru Saturday nights, and had dinner reservations for 6:30 our last evening in town. We were sat right away; great. The host sets a pile of menus down next to me and goes "Here. Pass these out". Not a single pleasantry was said, no "your server will be here shortly, enjoy your dinner, etc". Just walked away like he couldn't believe we dared to eat at the restaurant. 10 minutes later our server arrives and she was equally as rude. I ordered a drink for myself and someone who had stepped away for a moment. She proceeded to then start to walk away, completely ignoring the other 6 people at our table. I had to say "um, the other people at the table would like drinks too". She sighed, and turned back around. Took her forever to come back to take our order, and she acted like we were really putting her out by being there. Food was delivered, meanwhile, our drinks are all empty (and had been for awhile) and she hasn't come to check on us AT ALL (kitchen staff brought out our food). I had to AGAIN wave her down to get refills, ask for a few other things for the table. Again she acted like I wanted her first born child. She sighed every single time she had to help us. Food was fine. Honestly nothing special but at that point the fact that we were being treated like crap probably tainted my dish a bit. There wasn't a single time that she checked on us WITHOUT ME INITIATING IT FIRST. And each time acted like I was asking for her first born child. I don't even think she asked how we liked our dinner. Certainly seemed really annoyed the kids ordered gelato. We weren't being rude, the kids (8-12 year olds, so not really small) were behaving, yet she treated us like absolute shit. Even one of the older kids with us said "why is she being so rude to us"? Considering we spent 3 nights in that hotel, and over $300 on dinner, you can imagine I am pretty pissed about our experience. We are staying in the Hyatt Regency and love italian food so we decided to try Andare. The service was great but that is about it. The food was very mediocre. We had chicken parm and spaghetti and meatballs. The two meatballs on the spaghetti were about 1 and 1/2 inch round. The spaghetti on both dishes had a minimal amount of sauce that was an orange tint and both my husband and I agreed that it was very reminiscent of Franco American Spaghetti O's sauce. My husband is a martini drinker and he had 2. He commented that they were not good and a very short pour. When we got the bill we were shocked to see that a grey goose martini with a twist was $24.05 each! That is almost a crime. We ate here due to its convenience (in the Hyatt). For pizza and pasta the food was decent. However, I ordered a Cesar salad and wanted to add protein. I was advised the shrimp were large and a better option than chicken. Well, the shrimp were the size of a nickel at best and the salad was completely tasteless. I had the opportunity to attend a food tasting here and wow, I'm so glad I got to try more than I thought I would. We started off with some cocktails. I forget the name (blood orange pellegrino?) but it was def strong considering we're here during lunch. It had a grapefruit or an orange which added a nice citrus taste. They serve with ice and a side of tonic water which when you add it to the drink, it turns the color to purple! It's original color is blue from butterfly pea. For the appetizer, we started off with Caesar salad and their signature Andare salad. Both were light full of flavor! I especially love the lemon vinaigrette on the Andare salad! We also got to try the Andare signature meatballs and wowwww that was really good! The meatballs were so tender and the grilled pizza bread was so soft and chewy! Fantastic dish and a must try! We then were served their signature cavatelli and fettuccine carbonara! Both were amazing and I loved the whip ricotta on top of the cavatelli! It added a nice creaminess to the overall taste! The carbonara was slightly too salty for me but man I couldn't stop myself from eating more of it! Love the addition of the egg yolk which added a velvety consistency to each bite! Then moving onto more carbs-4 different types of Pizza!!! We tried their duck, prosciutto, mushroom, and margherita! All of them were fantastic but my fav was the prosciutto and mushroom! They were so full of flavor and the prosciutto pizza had a soft egg on it!! The duck was a close second while margherita is last just because I had it before! Their pizza is thin crust, making it easier to consume after all the carbs from the pasta lol Lastly dessert! We tried their cannolis and gelatos. The cannolis has a strong cinnamon taste to; kind of reminds me of a Mexican chocolate cookie. The cherry jam added a nice sourness which helped with the sweetness! We tried three diff flavors of gelato: pistachio, hazelnut, and berry. My personal fav was the hazelnut! It was so nutty and rich! The pistachio didn't have a strong enough pistachio flavor but it was still good! The berry was more like a sorbet kind of flavor but had a gelato creaminess consistency. It's served with fresh berries and a slice of lemon bar or some kind of bar. Overall I had a fantastic experience here and I would really like to thank our host Tim who did an excellent job hosting and informing us about the restaurant and food! Outstanding service and the food was exceptionally good. I went for a business dinner, and I was very impressed with the team.

Pizza was inedible. The tomato sauce was super salty and when pepperonis are added the pizza becomes so salty you basically can't eat it. I think they then add salt on top of the toppings? The crust is very thin so it does nothing to dilute the saltiness. Avoid this place unless you want a heart attack. read more

My Family and I went to eat breakfast this morning at Hyatt Regency Buffet after getting really bad service and getting ignored at Hyatt Grand breakfast we decide to go to Hyatt Regency we walking 2 blocks to get there and see there's a wait the young lady I think she say her name Lia or Nia in the front say theres line of people waiting in front of us and I frustrated because we want to eat and every Hyatt not having space and she was very kind to us and was apologizing that we having bad experience and she make a space for us to sit right away. We need more people like her in this service industry! Amazing attitude despite the busy restaurant my wife and me really appreciated that. I stayed here for a conference and ate at Andare twice. I had pizza the first night and it was only ok. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken for lunch and paid $35 (!) for bed of romaine lettuce with some milky dressing with no flavor, and a dusting of bread crumbs. Met a friend at Andare for lunch, and it did not disappoint! I had the carbonara which was phenomenal! My friend had the antipasto salad and meatballs on the side! She enjoyed both her dishes as well! Then for dessert we ordered the pistachio gelato and cannoli, both were great! It's a beautifully designed restaurant inside of the Hyatt Regency. You order and pay before you sit down which makes it a great place to go for lunch if you work near by. The service was quick and good. Andare is the best! I live two blocks away and stumbled upon here. 5 stars for their service, happy hour, prices and the food! The BEST service ever!!! We've had the same person serve us the last two times, Hai, he is the best! We first came back here for him, he remembered our drinks and made us feel at home. The happy hour menu and prices are amazing. Great for something quick or just to enjoy the ambiance. Food is wonderful! A wide selection and you can't go wrong with anything. So very hopeful and so thoroughly disappointed. We ended up choosing the halibut because there was no steak available, and several other options were also not available. While it appears they have gluten free options, I was informed that they do have cross contamination if that is a concern for you. So the limited menu, was even more limited than expected, the food was incredibly slow with not even a mention of apology for the extremely long wait. The food was sub-par quality. The beet salad was actually a radicchio salad with only 2 pieces of beet in it. The halibut was somewhat flavorless if not for the spicy sauce surrounding it. The server did not offer options for the menu items we could not eat due to health issues and did not return to check on our meal until after we were done. So all in all this one is unfortunate and not recommended. Lots of places to eat so pass this by and keep looking for good food in Seattle. read more

We stayed in the hotel and came down for dinner around 5:30 after calling 6 times to get put on the list, stood in line for about 20 mins before getting to the front to make a reservation (all fine and understandable, the snow was coming down and most restaurants were closed/closing early so they were VERY busy). We had a group of 8 and were told it would be about an hour and a half wait since we had a bigger group (again fine and understandable). What wasn't fine and understandable, was that after 2 hrs and no word, while we are sitting right outside the dining room and watching groups come in and out, we asked a host what our wait looked like and he said we should try to find somewhere else to eat. We told him we'd been waiting for hours and hadn't tried to find anything else because we were told that we would be seated eventually, not that there was a chance they couldn't fit us. We told him we would break into groups of 2 if that was easier, he said he would "circle back". We told him everything was closing at 8 because of the snow and we had children to feed, and he said it probably wasn't going to happen. We never got a text. After driving 5 hrs from Vancouver through treacherous conditions and not eating all day because the drive was suppose to half as long, this was the worst experience we could have possibly had trying to get food. By far my worst experience at a restaurant personally. read more

I want to love this place. The staff was great, place is beautiful and clean. The andare salad is delish. I'm a vegetarian so the options are limited. I saw that they had a chicken caprese sandwich so I asked for that without chicken. Another member of my party ordered the sand which as is. When it was delivered to the table Neither sandwich had mozzarella. I mean I enjoyed my Bruschetta sandwich and while I am here for chefs taking creative freedom with traditional recipes..... a caprese by definition has mozzarella. Just a thought to share with your service staff so maybe I would have been warned it wasn't traditional and would in fact be a tomato sandwich my removing the chicken. My other teammates said the clams weren't special but my boss said her carbonara was amazing. read more

We stopped in here for a drink last weekend. It was in the morning so we were the only ones in the bar. For one, the bar is super cute! I loved it right when I walked in. Two, our bartender was AWESOME!! It was super slow and we were only getting a drink so he could've brushed us off but he was the total opposite! So nice and friendly! This restaurant might have been good in the past, but not now. The food is nothing to write home about, but the service is very good. We went last night and had the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken piccata. Neither was good. The spaghetti was served with a ho-hum red sauce that came with TWO meatballs that were overdone and very bland. There were no herbs or seasoning to be found. The chicken piccata was a bit strange with the sauce approaching an Alfredo, again with no spices or herbs in sight. Glad the staff is good, but hard to sell with food that's not. read more

Great place for HH! We came in on a wed at 4:30pm and needed to table for 8. Got in quickly and the waiter said they would split checks. (Big plus!) the happy Hour Menu has a good menu selection with $8 pretty big pizzas and $4 meatballs that came with some naan like bread- very good! Overall enjoyed this experience and will def be back for more HH dates and try dinner. A must try in the area. Great food and service! The bartender was very friendly and nice. After waiting a long time there (35 minutes?), the bartender checks on the food, and they forgot to make it. The food then came out quickly. On the plus side, I got the food for free. However, it took a long time. It was a margherita pizza which was, meh. So overall, my experience was not great. read more
