Went to Andora a couple of nights ago with my wife for outdoor dining. They have an amazing patio that seats too many to count even during Covid. We had drinks and a spicy shrimp appetizer that was great. We both ordered the crab and lobster linguini which was also very tasty and not drowned in garlic butter like so many other restaurants do. I was impressed by the food and the service. The crab cakes are certainly the specialty of the house and worth ordering. I also had the Spice rubbed pork tenderloin over roasted corn and poblano cream, topped with green chili and roasted corn salsa, served with chef's vegetable medley. It was a creatively prepared entree and very flavorful. So with a very good wine list and excellent service, I don't see how you could miss with Andora. We sat out on the patio, which was a treat. We were dressed a little casual from our hike, so that was a nice option to sit outside. read more

I love this place. We've been her many times. Tonight was an off night. Scallops were drowning in an inch of oil. Compensation was a dessert. Not what I wanted for dinner. I am not sure will the back soon. read more

Just making a reservation here and noticed that the average rating was only 3.5. That is ridiculous. Should be 4.5 perhaps to accommodate for the fact that some customers are just difficult; I give it a 5. I've been going here for years with many discriminating people from the region and around the country, and have never had a bad experience, service or food wise. If you think this is overpriced, you are incorrectly grouping Andora with much lesser restaurants. Given the food quality, service quality and the whole package, it is fairly priced for sure. read more

Every time I have had the privilege of dining at Andora's, I usually order the shrimp bisque soup and the crab cake. I was there today for a late lunch and had the order placed. The soup and crab cake were served at the same time, allowing one or the other to be cold by the time it was eaten. The crab cake is usually delicious but today I found it lacked flavor. A few pieces of lump crab was placed on top but the inside was very small crab With no flavor. I am hoping I will not experience this when I return. Carolyn read more

This is one of the best restaurants and I always love coming to it. The quality of food matches the impeccable service. I get my favorite dish which is the Linguine with shrimp, crab meat, spicy sausage and banana peppers in a spicy tomato cream sauce. It's a delightful spicy dish packed with flavor and great texture for each bite. I have yet to have a bad meal here and look forward to my next visit. read more

My first time here and I won't be back. It started from the minute I walked in the door. The hostess Susan was very uninviting. It was 8:27 they closed at 9. If they stop serving customers at a certain time I would completely understand. But she was so rude. Her 1st question "are you going to the bar?" We said no. She got an attitude when we told her we didn't want to sit outside. She sits us in the corner as she's walking away she says " I'll tell Justin you are here the kitchen closes at 9 so don't take to long!" She walks off a d goes towards the bar and looks at the bar tender and throws her hands up annoyed. The only saving grace that got them 2 stars was the waiter Justin. He was very polite and good. The food was okay. The shrimp in the shrimp bisque tasted dirty so I didn't eat that. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

My friend and I had a wonderful meal. We shared the Zucchini Ribbons and we both absolutely loved it and decided this appetizer dish will be ordered each time we dine here. A local pittsburgher would love this place. It smells like a cafeteria, not a fine dining establishment . The crowd says it all. First off the benches outside were faded and ruins the atmosphere. Store bought bread was served with oil, yuk. We asked for butter. It came in ice cold packets. Not classy. The zucchini rolls were not appealing and they were poorly pan fried with greasy blobs of cheese inside . Crab cakes, flavorless, colorless and with mushy breading. Veggies on the side were pretty but tasteless. . Soup was bland, ok but wasn't from scratch, it tasted like Sysco prepared all of the sauces here. The French fries were crispy but had a weird coating on them. Almost a sweet taste, most likely from Sysco also. This would seem upscale to a blue collar crowd. They try but it's not enough. Place is clean. Oh, the bathroom was freezing. This was very uncomfortable read more

Andora is a great restaurant for a fancy night out, celebration, or a Holiday meal with friends and family! Their prices are pretty pricey but their food quality is worth it! My fiancé and I go on Valentine's Day and they get a great 3 course meal special so definitely check this place out for Holiday's where they offer this type of special! The service is great and all of the staff is always super friendly! They have a cute patio area outside off the of bar for when the weather is nice too. read more

Ate here with my boyfriend and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. Everything-from the appetizers, to the meals, to dessert was delicious, delivered promptly by our kind waiter, and hot and fresh. We got zucchini for an appetizer and the sauce on top was divine. I got a spicy pasta entree with banana peppers and sausage for my meal, and I couldn't stop eating it, even after I was full. The ambience in here is beautiful as well. Not insanely crazy about this place although I hear certain people swear by this place. The bartenders weren't nice. They weren't mean, but I noticed their interaction with other people and mine just wasn't the same. We sat at the bar because we were on a time crunch and figured we'd get our food and drink quickly. Let's just say by the time the bartender got to us we had to order food immediately and they never came back to me for a drink order (their loss). It made me kind of sad. One of my girlfriends had a bridal shower here and the staff and food was great, I was kind of disappointed with the service we recently received. Will I come back? Sure, but with the other food options with better service it'll probably take me 6 months or so. There aren't many food options in that area, but I'm willing to take a drive for better service and some tasty beverages. read more

Had dinner tonight. One of the specials was "Wolf" fish. The waitress said another customer ordered it and said it was really good. It was disgusting, worst fish I've ever eaten. I was a guest so I did not complain but I only ate the rice and the vegetable medley which were very good. Additionally, their wine selections are also just average. For $9 or $11 per glass, there are a million better options. Very disappointed and will probably never go back again, even though I used to be a steady customer, however, that was 7 or 8 years ago when the food was much better. A fabulous meal and service! I ordered kona encrusted pork ribeye and my fiance had a miso cod. Both were served hot and played beautifully! The pork was cooked perfectly as were the sides! Out of this world delicious!! We split a BlackBerry cobbler for dessert and a terrific dining experience was had. The waitress was attentive, polite and very knowledgable as well. This place seems to be wayyyyy overrated. The waitress didn't know what a Peroni was and actually pronounced it Caroni when she questioned what I ordered. She also didn't know what osso bucco was and had to go ask in the back (i overheard this at the table next to us. I also over heard the other table next to us complaint about their calamari saying it was rubbery and just plain old not good. We got the sliced zucchini app. It was bland to say the least. I got the surf and turf for 43$. The steak was correctly but came with a giant and I mean giant glob of butter on it. It was still quite bland. The crab cakes were even more bland. No flavor at all, although I will say nice large lumps of crab but very little flavor. My mashed potatoes were luke warm at best. My husband was a little more pleased with his food. He got the Kona frosted pork and said it had good flavor and was cooked correctly. His mashed potatoes were also luke warm. Overall subpar experience in my opinion. Definitely not worth the cost. I don't mind spending money on food that's worth it, this place just isn't worth the cost. read more

We have been here once before and enjoyed it but since then I've needed to go gluten-free, not too many options if your gluten free. I got one of the specials that was $47, Oscar style Delmonico steak with mashed potatoes, the steak had no flavor. My husband got the ribeye with Gorgonzola and raved about it. He said it tasted amazing. Our waiter was interesting, not very personable and it seemed like we were holding him up when we were ordering. He also forgot to bring us any bread, it had been in the oven but when it was done he didn't bring it to us we had to ask again. We sat outside which was so beautiful!!! read more
