Just had it for the first time last night, it's legit. The food and service are exceptional, they know what their doing. The dips are to die for, and the gyro is the best I've ever had. It comes with cucumbers, heavy dill, fries in the perfect pita and feta if you want it. The meat is as good of quality as you can get. Went to Andros today for Greek Easter. The positive first. Food quality is outstanding. Everything is good quality and very fresh. The baked goods are phenomenal. Now the not so good. We are a Greek family and love to cook. We ordered multiple Gyros, the Octopus and a Greek salad. Everything was under seasoned and flavorless, at least for Greek food. The scordalia had no garlic, the Tsatsiki was just yoghurt or sour scream, so cucumber, or garlic. Very strange. Why not cook with at least some authentic Greek spices/flavor? read more

Fantastic! It's clear that Andros (to be clear I have idea if there is a dude named Andros but whatever) loves his kitchen and takes pride in his food. All the dishes are familiar to anyone who's dined in Greek Town but you've never had anything like this. You like baba ganoush? Wait till you try his, the freshest you've ever had. Pita? Seriously delicious!!! I love Greek food and I'm blown away and that's with getting takeout so I can only imagine how great it is fresh out of the kitchen! I regret not taking a picture but we got the octopus (looked exactly like the pic already in Yelp), and was sooo good. Also highly recommend the baked feta, chicken souvlaki, and side of potatoes! That sauce with the chicken I could eat straight out of the container. Can't wait to get it again and eat in person as it looks so nice and inviting inside. read more

I honestly just didn't really this it was worth it. My NA cocktail was def not worth $11. Tasted like water with cardamom pods (which I get it... it's NA but why the high price?). I'm so nervous today because my chat mate in my fb wants to meet me. We planned to meet at this restaurant by 7 to eat our dinner. I just wore a formal outfit. It is a black pants with white polo on top paired with leather shoes. I look good today. I went there before 7 and parked my car easily. By 7:10 she came in. She looks pretty in her simple outfit. We greeted each other and we ordered our food. While waiting for our order we happily talk to each other. After a couple of minutes our order came. She likes the taste of the pasta. Their Greek fare is delicious. Their non booze options are super refreshing. The ambience and atmosphere is set for a perfect Friday night of bites to share with friends. It can get loud with a full house and the music blasting. Some of their tables were smaller, like the one we were seated at. I am sorry to say this but I ordered two thanksgiving pies. One was the pumpkin and the other was the back lava. They sounded good and even though the price tag on the pies was very high ( $50/pie), I thought I would take the chance. Well I am so sorry I purchased those pies. We waited six weeks to be able to get a reservation in this restaurant. It will probably be the last time. The service was slow and in attentive. The food, was very good, but severely over priced. I've had just as good Greek food for a lot less money in other neighborhoods. You sit so close to other people that you could hear them chewing. I felt like we were packed in like sardines to squeeze every table and every buck out of every person. I guess you were paying for the ambience of the neighborhood but quite honestly I can go elsewhere and have just as good a meal. Nothing special about this place. read more

Love this new spot in Logan! The staff, food and patio were all exceptional. The staff was friendly, extremely fast and attentive even when busy, and they were very knowledgeable about the wine list and gave great descriptions on each menu item.. the food was incredible! We did the Mezze Sampler, it comes with 4 skewers (2 chicken 2 pork) 3 spreads, fresh veggies/olives and warm/soft pita bread. The spreads were incredibly flavorful! We also ordered the Andros salad, fresh crunchy veggies with lots of dill and a light dressing and finished with the Greek yogurt with honey and baklava pieces. It was all so good! Nothing (food, ambiance or service) was bad but nothing (food, ambiance or service) was outstanding and the real kicker was the bill...almost $300 (with tip) for just the mezze sampler, spanakopita, fish of the day, two cocktails and one glass of wine. For a party of two, there are numerous other local restaurants where I would prefer to spend that kind of money. We got charged $12 for 2 extra pieces of pita bread.... $6 PER PIECE OF PITA BREAD. They charge $22 for a GYRO...How do people like this place? Also Every 15-20 min a busser or serve was at our table clearing our plate or asking if we were finished. We felt rushed and not relaxed. For this type Of price I want to relax. in river north this price point would fly but Logan square this is way overpriced for so so - OK food. The food was good, nothing tasted bad but nothing memorable. For $6/per pita it should be lined with gold flakes or something. the food was average Greek/Mediterranean food. Extremely cute!! Everything was fresh and interesting. Good vibe. We got the whipped feta (which was different than most I've had before) - veggie forward. And served with fresh vegetables. Another restaurant that doesn't have the basics of success in place, customer service. While the atmosphere is nice and the menu seems interesting that's where it ends. The food is just ok, the coordination between the wait staff and the kitchen is awful, our main course arrived before our starter. The salad came with dressing on it, when clearly requested that it was to be on the side. The food server through the kitchen under the bus for the screw ups, ignored us for the rest of the meal and didn't send the manager over to provide some customer service. We were with friends otherwise I would have requested to speak to the manager. They are full and busy right now...won't make it unless they figure out how to run an upscale restaurant. read more

This was my second time at Andros, and I enjoyed it as much as my previous visit. I ordered the Cape Cod Skate wing which was a special, and it was the best version I have ever had. Would definitely go back for that, it is the thing that food dreams are made of. In addition I had the avgolemono, the spicy feta with fresh veggies, an order of the amazing sesame bread and an order of razor clams. I had never had razor clams before, but was glad that I tried them. Another addition to my favorite foods going forward. Overall, this is a good place to try and an asset to the neighborhood. The ambiance is nice and it has large open windows for summer time. The food was good but what you get for the price is not great. There was barely any meat on the skewers for the chat grilled kalamaki. The specialty drinks had barely any alcohol. let's see, I made a call for reservation, a dude picked up and was able to pull up my resy profile by the phone number and all that. showed up at the restaurant, properly on time and the hostess can't find the reservation and asked us politely to chill by the bar while they figure something out. 15 minutes past without even a glance from them without any notice or update... so I walked down the street to look for another accommodation and found one within few minutes. about an hour later, I get a text saying that we've been waitlisted, with expected wait time of another hour to be seated. I never got a follow up text indicating if a table ever opened up. suffice to say this deserves a minimal star rating and a very unlikely to be updated anytime soon since I am black listing them for a while. read more

The food is good and the service is pleasant. However, I have questions about the billing practice. All bills are charged a 3.85% processing fee. What is that? The default tips are 20%, 22%, and 25%. What used to be standard 15% or 18% are no longer options. They also included the tax in the calculation. So we are supposed to tip the tax? I finally was able to try Andros this week and it was worth the wait! I was able to easily get a reservation and even revived a reminder text 30 minutes before our scheduled time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating- my husband has some food allergies and our server addressed that right away. Our server (Jesse) made great recommendations on both the menu and wine list that were spot on. We loved the Greek wine selection and the food was incredible. Jesse was so attentive to our table and took great care of us! I highly recommend the appetizer feta dip with homemade pita bread- so so so good! I had the octopus as an entree and it was the best octopus I've ever had. It's incredible! My husband had the crispy pork shoulder- and we also shared the potatoes as a side which were very tasty. Don't skimp on dessert- so many awesome options to choose from AND the cappuccino was a perfect way to end the dinner. I will be back ASAP. One of my favorite places for brunch! My friend and I have been twice in the last two weeks just because the food was incredible. It's bittersweet that I live so close... Both times I ordered the egg whites over slow cooked zucchini with oven roasted tomatoes and dill, spicy whipped feta with the crudite and greek fries with feta. I was going to try something new the second time but I was happy with my order last time that I thought might as well. Everything was fresh and seasoned well... I ordered the only GF dessert they had and it was still tasty- it was a coconut cookie dipped in chocolate. I wish I could have their other pastries and pita because they look incredible!
