I ordered a matcha latte with regular milk and honey for sweetener. When I first saw the drink, I was instantly let down by the color. A solid matcha typically has a rich and vibrant green color and this was not it. Flavor wise, it was also disappointing because all I tasted was milk and honey. The honey was overpowering and it ultimately felt like I was drinking honey water. I had high hopes since their seasonable drinks are often raved about.
The mango plover is such a perfect later afternoon drink. No caffeine but plenty of joy. Lines are long, be forewarned!
Nice location to get a coffee and chill at salesforce park. The coffee was smooth. The lemon poppyseed loaf was thick and cakey. Very poppyseed forward with some strong lemon flavor from the icing on top. Not too sweet. The cake was not dry, but also not moist if that makes sense. It was a good sized loaf which was shared. They had some cute merch too.
Coffee was pretty good. I ordered online prior to getting there so that helped timing wise. Lots of space to sit and use their free WiFi.

There's plenty of seating inside, but most people seem like they took their drink to walk around the park. I tried the seasonal mango matcha, and it was extremely mediocre in comparison to other matcha places around the city. However, my cousin really enjoyed their latte, so maybe I ordered wrong. I'd definitely be down to come again to try a latte and for the park!

They have a seasonal Strawberry Matcha Latte, and I have never felt this disappointed in a drink before. The drink barely had any matcha and turned grey after mixing. The strawberry was overly sour. You can see from the color that they used the most oxidized matcha ever. The drink really tasted like iron mixed with something sour. I hope they taste their drinks before selling it. Maybe other lattes are better but honestly this was just way too disappointing.
My business colleague invited me to catch up with him this week in San Francisco. Living in the neighborhood he recommended we meet at Andytown Coffee Roasters at 181 Fremont Street adjacent to the Saleforce Park. I took an Uber which dropped me in front of the correct building location, however, I had in minds eye remembering seeing a coffee shop in the Salesforce Park so I inadvertently went to that coffee shop. WRONG! After realizing my mistake, I texted my colleague and we were able to connect IRL on Andytown Coffee Roasters on the 7th floor. The shop is HUGE and since it took a few minutes to circle back my friend ordered me a medium coffee ahead of my arrival which was great given there was a long line by the time I arrived. The coffee was very nice and I appreciate the taste and warmth. After about 45 minutes we left the ACR shop and walked in the elevated Salesforce Park which is stunning urban designed. The only comment I would mention is the noise volume levels were loud given there were 20-30 people in line to order and talking. Not a big deal, we moved to two very comfortable sofas a few feet away or could have gone outside since there is many options inside and outside to enjoy the space. I took several photos of my visit and when I am back in the area will definitely go back and try their menu. Don't forget to leave time to causally stroll around the magnificent shaded garden 7 stories above the street! Enjoy!
The inside is spacious with a decent amount of seating. I got the fruit plover and thought it was fine. It was sparkling water with a fruit syrup and homemade whipped cream top. I honestly just liked the whip cream since I'm not too big of a fun for sparkling water.

Getting here was a bit confusing (Thanks a lot Google Maps) but as soon as we walked into the building, it was easy to find. Beautiful layout, lots of people working on laptops. Line was fairly short (surprising for a Saturday morning). My boyfriend ordered The Snowy Plover matcha (matcha + sparkling water) while I ordered the strawberry matcha which I didn't notice was put in as a regular matcha until after we paid. My boyfriend attempted to get their attention in a kind manner that the person had put in my order wrong though the 2 other baristas in charge of making the drink failed to acknowledge him. The person who rang us up overheard then acknowledged what occurred and made sure to tell them that I ordered a strawberry matcha. The Snowy Plover matcha is an acquired taste. Definitely one to try to get the "Andytown experience". My strawberry matcha was not good. The strawberry syrup was way too sour and revolting. I took 2 sips and was done. Definitely glad to finally try this place! I've been wanting to try Andytown for a few years, especially when briefly living near their Outer Sunset location as I've heard so many good things. Definitely not coming back though.

I went there with my friends and partner on a Saturday morning recently for a caffeine pick me up. We were confused at first about where it was located because it's a little tucked away but quickly located it after some help from the building security. Service was good, it was nice and clean inside, and the drinks were good. We tried the mango matcha, original bird snowy plover, and brown sugar latte. The plover was an interesting drink and something I probably wouldn't get but the other two drinks were good. Nothing really wowed us here but it was a good coffee shop.

We arrived on a weekend afternoon. It was busy inside, but there was no line to order. They have a tablet you order on, plus a menu to browse. There are so many matcha options; it was overwhelming in a good way! My companion ordered for us on the tablet while I got a table. They have a decent number of tables; most folks just hung out, while some were working. Drinks came out very fast as well. Love that they're dog-friendly too! I got the Sunny Side Up Matcha Einspänner with Soy Milk. The default sweetness is half, which I kept. The matcha here is really in-your-face! Strong, vibrant, and grassy. I love mango--and it was so cute and aesthetic. The mango was a nice pairing, not too sweet, and a decent amount. Overall, it was a rich, creamy drink, and I'd order it again. I'd love to try other drinks as well. read more

This location is absolutely beautiful. Love that you can sit inside and do work or take a stroll along the outside. The "Plover" series is what they're known for. We had the cold brew version and the seasonal fruit version and both weee absolutely delicious. Whatever is in that house made cream is so darn good. The seasonal fruit I got was the mango and it tasted like mango sticky rice meets orange creamsicle. DELICIOUS. Highly recommend for work, for social, or for a pick me up/ read more

Finally tried Andytown Coffee after recently moving to SF! I got the original bird, which is basically an espresso cream soda and it was sooo refreshing! The drink was very slightly sweet from the whipped cream (or maybe just the fizz?) and not heavy at all. I much preferred this to my sister's hot latte (which was also good), especially when paired with the sunny weather outside. The cafe was also connected to the salesforce park so we were able to sip our coffees on a nice little stroll away from the busy-ness of DTSF. The cafe itself was very spacious with lots of seating. Would definitely come back and/or take visiting friends here! read more

I went to Andytown Coffee Roasters for the first time today on the top of the Salesforce term. I love how it's on the top floor with the garden walk/circle. I grabbed my coffee and did the walk before heading out. But let me talk about the coffee. I had a Brown sugar oat milk latte and my colleague had a Matcha oat milk latte. When we first approached the counter, we weren't greeted right away, but once we were, the cashier was very nice. We ordered the lattes and took a step back for others to order. They called us to pick up our lattes And before we started the walk, we stood around for a minute. What I do love about the places is very spacious and very clean. What I didn't like is it didn't feel very welcoming by the staff like you expect a small coffee shop to be. I can't tell you that I'll be back, but I'm glad I experienced it. read more
While visiting SF, a friend of mine tried Andytown and told me I had to give it a try so I found this one in Salesforce tower near my office. Its a little tricky to get to (maybe thats a me problem since I am not familiar with the area!) but once your up there its great. Its a small spot and it was PACKED at 3pm on a Wednesday and took me about 10 minutes to get through the line. Once I finally ordered, I got the Snowy Plover and omg! I am obsessed with this combo! the soda water and the whipped cream with espresso?? Just delish! And even better because they had a seasonal pumpkin spice one that was delicious and made the drink 10x better! worth the wait! read more
I came here with my friend, who highly recommended the signature plovers here at Andytown. I opted for their limited edition birthday cake latte, since I was intrigued with the concept of birthday cake syrup! It honestly fell a bit flat for me, the fact that they make their cream in house is interesting though. It's definitely a thicker consistency than other cafes offer. The coffee flavor itself is quite yummy, this particular location is tucked inside of an artisanal supermarket. It's a decent jolt of caffeine, but I don't know if I'd go again. I'm personally not a big fan of carbonated water's taste, so the appeal is a bit lost on me. read more

Really cool coffee shop up in the Salesforce Park. It's accessible via the park or through an elevator. I got the iced mocha and it was okay. The line was short and the wait to get my drink took 5 minutes. The staff were nice. The inside is really nice and service is good. I'd come back again. read more
Came into the city for work and had to stop by! For as much content I see about this online, I wasn't as pleased with the real-life experience. Location is lovely, this is at the top of a tower that exits right into Salesforce Park. Clean, easy to co-work at, and lovely to walk through the trees and park right outside. The service was just "okay", I felt like they moved people through quickly which was great. Unfortunately my drink was inputted wrong at the cash register so the barista had to remake it which I felt bad about. Since I was new, I wanted a few more suggestions but the register wasn't as helpful as I had hoped. I tried the matcha plover (a tonic?) since this is what I always see online. I see lots of great reviews so maybe nothing is wrong with the drink-- it might just not be my taste! I found the sparkling tonic to overpower the matcha flavor, and the "whipped cream" on top wasn't properly melting into the drink. I do appreciate that oat milk was free! If I was working in the area again, I would stop by and try some more drinks and, of course, the great Salesforce views. read more
A friend told me this place is a must try. He traced about the mocha and homemade whipped cream so of course I had to stop by. It was a little hard to find but I ask the security guard and was escorted up. I ordered the iced mocha with whipped cream. It was amazing and my new addiction. Came here on a Saturday morning after yoga class! I got my usual latte, which was really good - Andytown is definitely one of my favorites in the city! The interior is a very large, open space with lots of tables. There were many people here on their laptops working. With Salesforce park only a few steps away, this is a great place to stop by and enjoy a coffee! read more
Cool spot at Salesforce park! We came during the midday rush, and there was a long line of folks needing an afternoon pick-me-up. Despite the long line, it moved fairly quickly considering they only had a few employees and drinks were made to order. I decided to use this opportunity to order a coffee tonic, since it's one of Andytown's specialties! The snowy plover is two shots of espresso and brown sugar syrup poured over sparkling water and then topped with homemade whipped cream. In theory, all things I love! But it was in this moment I learned coffee tonics just aren't for me. The tonic + coffee ended up being too much bitterness for me, without enough sweet and creaminess to cut it. Although it wasn't my favorite, my friends who enjoy these drinks really loved it, so that's how I know it's the real deal! read more
Bravo to the Andytown team for steadily working through a massive line during our visit. I feel as if this is typically the case for the location, and I was impressed with how quickly they worked through it! I'm pretty basic when it comes to coffee- iced lattes are my jam. I usually do a sugar free syrup, and Andytown doesn't carry those. Totally fine- that happens often! I don't think they had a huge selection of syrups in general. I can appreciate that as it's their branding- I do wish they had more though! Personal preference :) Coffee was good and exactly what we needed before heading back to the office! read more

My first coffee-tonic experience! Or at least I think that's what it's called. Can you tell I'm from out of town? I was visiting for a work conference, and anytime I'm in San Fran I'm looking for new places to try! Our office is right near Salesforce Park, and this local goodie was conveniently located right there. The shop is quite big and roomy, with plenty of seating. Many folks were posted up with the laptops working, which seems like a great spot to do so. The line was long as could be when we arrived! The small barista team was crushing it though, churning out drinks quick. Being from the midwest, where coffee-tonics haven't hit yet, I figured I had to try one! My co-workers all had good things to say about them, too. I went with the Snow Plover since it's coined as the signature beverage here. This 16oz drink has sparkling water over ice, espresso, brown sugar syrup, and Andy's homemade whipped cream. I must say, the fizzy aspect was quite interesting. Certainly not bad, but also not necessarily great? I feel like I could take it or leave it. The overall flavor of the drink was delightful though, and damn that whipped cream... I can see why everyone loves that here. Definitely rec this spot for locals and tourists alike. I'd return to try more drinks on my next trip to town. read more
When I'm in San Francisco for work I'm downtown near Salesforce Park, and I'm always on the hunt for a great local coffee shop to support. This past visit I discovered Andytown and I think I'll make this place a regular stop for me when I'm working in SF in the future. The first thing you'll notice once you find this place is that it's located in Salesforce Park, which is already a win. If you haven't been to Salesforce Park yet you're missing out as it's an urban oasis and perfect for taking a break and stretching your legs while working in an office nearby. I love that they thoughtfully put a local option in instead of partnering with a mega brand as I'm sure they could have. On the day I arrived I unfortunately didn't have time to explore the park, but only really had the time to snag a coffee to go and take back to work with me. The first thing I noticed when I got there was the line - holy how this is a popular spot. That's always a good sign IMO, but I was a tad nervous as I was on a time crunch. I will say it wasn't FAST since it's a craft coffee spot, but it moved fast enough, and I decided it was worth the risk of being a few minutes late. What I was most excited about was their signature drink - the snowy plover. I've been on an espresso tonic kick lately and while this is more of an espresso cream soda, it definitely piqued my interest and I lowkey love it when a local brand does something a bit off the beaten path with coffee. Once I got mine I loved it. It was not only presented in a beautiful way for a take out beverage, but it was honestly delicious. My go-to tonic of course uses tonic water and I like a lil citrus, so this was a departure and while not something I'm itching to have every day I will order it again when I'm back in SF. Next time I'll probably plan in some time to walk the park while enjoying it as well. read more
love this place- its a staple. plus its iconic location! I always make a round at salesforce park then stop into andytown. my classic is a matcha w oat milk and whipped cream (don't miss out on their house made whipped cream) and the breakfast cookie. the matcha is good but the cookie is great. im not even that much of a cookie person honestly but the savory + sweet in this one is phenomenal! I think its a brown butter cookie too a must try! read more
On a cool overcast day in San Francisco, Andytown was a welcome respite to escape the elements and warm up with a hot espresso drink. It was difficult to find and its actually inside an office building next to Salesforce Park. Once inside there are plenty of tables and comfy sofas. We ordered an Oatmilk Latte and a Matcha Plover which is the matcha version of the signature drink The Original Bird. The addition of soda water and whipped cream was definitely worth trying. The latte was on point but the Matcha Plover was .... umm... maybe ... an acquired taste. read more

Ordered the almond milk latte, I really enjoyed it! The espresso was smooth and didn't taste acidic. The area is also spacious with a lot of tables where you can study or get some work done. read more

Is this place dog friendly? Is there outdoor seating where I can chill with my dog?
I don't think it's dog friendly because it's off of Salesforce Park (which does not allow dogs) and inside the Facebook building (which, I'm not sure what the dog policy is).
Seatings available? Also is there wifi?
Indoor and outdoor seatings provided by building and the saleforce park are available for public, but the seating area next to the store is currently closed.
Are they open?
No. I went yesterday and I was told by a security guard they weren't open. I wish they updated their profile to say they were closed.
What brand oat milk do they use? (Edit: Just scrolled through their Instagram and saw Califia)
