Charged me much more then what is listed on website, when I said you're charging more first he said I was wrong, then made me go in my car and get my phone to prove it, Then once I did. He became very agitated and confrontational and told me. I should have ordered it on the website. Then and for me to do what I gotta do. When the new owners took over I got nervous. But I had to try it and believe it or not it was spot great. Great pizza great sauce great crust and the OG EGGPLANT PARM WAS SPOT ON. I moved from Islip and haven't gone back to Angela's until tonight. I got a regular which was burnt and half the size and such a thick slice. Got the OG EGGPLANT AND IT WAS DISGUSTING. RAW EGGPLANT VERY LITTLE SAUCE AND JUST TERRIBLE QUALITY. Got the grandma slice super thick and burnt. Got a buffalo chicken super thick slice. This place has gone down hill!! When I walked in I saw the owner and got excited because he was there and when the boss is there that means food quality should be top notch. But not tonight. I always get there pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad about once a week! My kids love them. I love That dressing, it's amazing! Perfect amount of pepper, not overwhelming, creamy, Caesar goodness lol. Plus, shaved parmasaen :) the grilled chicken has a good flavor to it n that charcoal taste. Not a huge fan of their buffalo chicken pizza. Too much cheese. The last three times I've been there my pizza was burnt and dry. They did replace one when I complained and even dropped it off which I appreciate, and that was was okay but it's become the norm so sadly we are going somewhere else now. Maybe I'll give it 6 months and see if they change the pizza maker because they're reasonable with prices and very nice people. Sorry guys, but your pizza maker stinks. read more

Gave it a try based on others' reviews. The calzone/garlic knot/pizza combo was not as good as it looked. Regular pie was okay, sauce was unusual, but not in a good way. I know this is a new venture, and I wish them well. They seem to have a following, so I'm sure they'll be successful. First time here and it won't be the last! Had the giant mozzarella sticks, cooked perfectly and yummy breadcrumb and a rice ball. Been coming here for a few months but as of late my experiences have not been good. The owner is very rude. He is constantly yelling at his workers and customers. He even tried to get physical with my boyfriend over a slice of pizza... This place is constantly messing up our orders and they never take accountability. Instead of the owner apologizing for THEIR screw ups, he just verbally abuses us. UNPROVOKED! He yells about how hard it is to run a business. IF THATS THE CASE JUST PASS IT ON! Will never return here ever again. Save yourself the trouble. NOT WORTH IT OVER SOME LUKEWARM PIZZA!!! Very disappointed in the pizza and calzone we received last week. It appeared not fresh like the food was sitting for a while. It ended up in the garbage after we tried to eat it . This review is in reference to the original Angela's Pizzeria, and original owners. I used to order their Sicilian pizza, and regular slices. I was a customer since the 80's. I can't tell you how many times I visited this place, and I was never disappointed with Sal's cooking! Every Sicilian slice had excellent cheese, seasoning, and sauce flavor that was perfectly done! The bread was nice, and thick(making it comparable to real baked bread)! The pizza was authentic, and tasted like I went to Italy to eat it! The regular slices were nice, and big! There was plenty of cheese on each slice, and the taste was so good! I used to dream about getting pizza here. It was the only place offering the tasty slices that I truly loved! I was so hurt when you all left that I decided to make my own pizza at home with excellent results! I truly miss my favorite pizzeria, and it's original people. read more

Nothing will ever beat the old Angela's regular pizza the new one is not as good the sauce doesn't have that oregano kick to it and it's too acidic and the way the onions are cut the pieces are way too big they used to use diced onions that was way better read more

My brother likes to be independent. Whenever I order from Angela's Pizza Islip on the phone., I let him walk in to pick up the pizza himself. Every time he does this, they give him the wrong order. His name is Chris and all he has to say is I'm here for Chris, I went in to complain. They gave him the wrong order and they said he picked up someone else's order. or asked for the wrong name and once instead of two pepperoni he only received one instead of instead of what I asked for and once they even sent him out to me to get more money than they quoted me on the phone. They take advantage of him because he's mentally challenged. I went back into complain that they do this to him every time and I guess it was the owner handed me my money back and said don't come back. I sincerely hope you, the compassionate consumer does not go back. I will not. I'm appalled at the way they treated him and myself.
